This year, the Christmas Tree is not worth the £90. We had great expectations after last year's Christmas Tree from Pines and Needles which set the standards quite high.

Gold Star delivering our tree as Battersea Power Station doesn’t make deliveries easy. I scheduled a pick-up but then 24 hours before scheduled/paid for pick-up of the tree found out our building disposed of trees. Called P&N and was told I’d get a refund of 1/2 my payment. No refund received & frankly since no one had to come don’t understand why the refund isn’t 100%. May need to re-consider my supplier of our 8ft tree next year….. Dear Sir or Madam The tree is lovely only keeps dropping some dead insects (black little bugs) to the floor. I spoke to a friend who always orders from you, she’ve never experienced that.

The service from Pines and Needles has always been excellent. Because of that, we were disappointed to have a Christmas tree pick up that was less so. One of the team was completely useless and made life difficult for the other. He had trouble following directions to get to our home, left a mess and was generally clueless. This was such a surprise as usually the Pines and Needles service is good.

I'm a loyal customer and buy trees from this company for more than 10 years. Admittedly, I have never been disappointed, it was always great trees and a great service. But this year we needed to move the delivery date to 5 days forward due to family emergency (and customer service was amazing, the most helpful guy on a phone). But lately, we were clearly delivered the same tree, that was cut for us - as any tree that waits you for a week, it was completely dry and, regardless if my best efforts to water it, died really quickly, when I decorated it, it dropped needles as crazy. If company would like to receive my order next year, than something must be done and next year procedure should be more honest.

Lovely tree, very happy with the tree, delivery guy who delivered the tree was excellent, the tree lasted the entire month from the 7th of December to the 5th of January, be sad to let it go. However it’s a great shame that this 5 star has to be a 3, the customer service guy on the phone is a big let down of the company.

Have used pines and needles for the past few years as I don't have a car so can be difficult to get a family member to come and pick up the tree with me. The delivery service has been great up until this year. They had a delivery partner deliver the trees instead of their own staff and I think this is where the problem comes from. The tree had definitely been sat in the depot or where-ever for more than 24 hours as when we unwrapped the tree, the pines were already dropping. The reason I paid so much for a 7ft non-drop tree was that the tree was supposed to be non drop but I've had to constantly hoover the room. The tree is also not taking up any water from the stand which makes me think it was cut at least a few days before I received it. Its a shame as the size and shape of the tree is lovely.

Here’s the problem: attempting to buy sustainably so purchased a 4ft potted tree to keep. The first tree was so root bound that the container was broken open and the tree couldn’t stand. The next tree seems to have a different pot but there were no instructions: we realized it needed to get outside and made the move today, Jan 1 after 2 wks inside. How sustainable is this tree if it just dies. Clearly requires a larger pot. Seems like ‘green washing’.

Ordered an 8ft tree this year. The tree I received was definitely not an 8ft tree it is much shorter. I am disappointed as I have used pines and needles online for the last few years and have always been happy with my tree.

Beautiful tree, shape etc but didn’t drink any water from day one.. I was told by pines & needles that those don’t drink much.. well all dried out and droopy before Xmas! Too much of a mare to replace 10ft tree!!

Lovely tree but we ordered 6 foot and it was more like 7 foot or more so it was a struggle fitting it in/decorating it.

Firstly I ordered over the phone with them on line then I wanted to check something and the woman I spoke to was so rude that I decided to cancel my order, she informed me she was a manager. Eek. Then by coincidence a tree was bought from pines and needles and we paid for delivery. We requested a morning delivery, we received it at 10.30pm. They also delivered the wrong tree.

The box was badly burst. The wreaths didn’t have any protection within the box. I felt, considering the price, that the wreaths would have looked nicer, fuller decoration.

We have ordered from Pines and Needles in the past and have always been pleased with the service and the quality of their trees. This year we have been slightly disappointed as we ordered a 6ft tree but received a tree shorter than me (I am 5'2"). It is still beautiful, healthy tree which we will enjoy (and we've propped it up on a platform) just not the one we paid for.

Unfortunately I ordered a 7ft Fraser Fir but a Nordman Fir was delivered instead to the doorstep. The driver was back in the van and away by the time the tree was in the house. Suffice to say a little disappointing…

The product is great, the delivery too. But I was shocked that the delivery man wasn't wearing a mask in this day and age, when he knew he had to bring the tree indoors.

Lovely tree but it would be great to see a big company like you find a viable environmental alternative to the horrid plastic netting...You must use mountains of the stuff across all your sites. You could be trail blazers!

Good shaped tree. However, if you're going to sell them caked in mud, can I suggest they are properly washed down first? Just spent 45 minutes tenderly wiping down each branch with a whole roll of kitchen tissue...

Firstly the service has been excellent. Tree delivered as arranged. However, the reason I marked it down was that the tree I received was not particularly healthy. Towards the bottom of the tree, all of the inside branches were brown and no needles, so I was a bit disappointed. I emailed to let them know and received an email response immediately, on a Sunday (!) from Chelsea who very kindly offered to deliver a replacement tree. Because we had already decorated the tree (not expecting to be offered a full replacement!) we decided against the kind offer as it was just too much hassle. So Chelsea then offered us a 15% discount off our tree next year. The customer service was extremely professional and prompt, so really five stars for that, but felt I should mark it down owing to the quality of the tree. Based on the service alone I would definitely buy from them again.

Tree was glorious when I picked it but it’s now starting to droop and loose needles at an alarming rate. Flat has been kept at a cool temperature, watered 5-6 times a day and nothing is improving. It’s disheartening and I’m not sure I’ll use this company again.
