“I do love the this brand, shoes are gorgeous and comfortable but unfortunately the soles are not good First two pairs sole come off Last ones only used 5 times and there’s wholes underneath. Very expensive for sole’s quality”

“I ordered a pair of boots that did not arrive. After 10 days I rang head office to check what had been and had to reorder. When the boots eventually arrived I was very pleased with the fit and quality.”

“Shoes were not true to size. One of the only companies that insists the buyer pays for the return despite me wanting an exchange. Also had to send signed for, so cost £14! So I did not buy in the end in case the second pair were not suitable! Will never buy from this company again and could never recommend them to anyone. Buyer beware! I am so disappointed in this company.”

“Shoes were nice but too large. I returned them on 13th Jan via Modas recommended courier. I have not had an update or a refund, no one answers emails, phone or contact form. The shoes were nice but the customer service is awful so far…. I wouldn't recommend ordering online if you may return! Shame as they do such nice shoes!”

“Delivery was timely but boots were too small. Customer service weren't understanding or apologetic but simply said all shoes are different. Other reviews site the same issue if small sizes and this should be clear upon purchase. Also had to pay to return. Not a great experience.”

“Although the quality seemed acceptable I was very disappointed with the design of the boots. There were five separate features, zip edging, silver strip on the welt, patent and suede, and metal detail on the heel. One of these features would have made the boots look classy and elegant. All five made them look just cheap. I sent them back.”

“Unhappy to find out after my online purchase that returns are at the cost of the buyer with tracked postage recommended (pretty expensive). Alternatively, I did a 20 mile round trip to return the items to a M I P shop. The boots looked ok but were impossibly narrow. For the reasons quoted about returns, I would not purchase again.”

“My wife has bought several excellent Moda products from Stingers in Lytham, when she saw the handbag online she thought it would be an excellent purchase. It was everything she expected with just one unpleasant addition, the bag stank. The bag was packed flat, as it must have been straight from the manufacturer, unfortunately, it has a stomach-churning fishy smell inside and despite using some air fresh and other on-line tips it is still quite pungent. The customer service team did offer to replace or refund but liking the bag we were left in a quadry. The only practical advice on offer was to air the bag, so it was a search for online tips that after over a week the bag became almost acceptable to use. I will not beusing Moda online in future”

“I was very disappointed to receive my boots they were not a new pair. They had mud on the soles and the sides. The leather was very worn and they looked a mess. I was shocked whoever packaged them thought this was acceptable to send out for a customer to receive. I returned them to my local store who were shocked to see this standard and I asked for my money back which I received.”

“Although the service from Moda was excellent unfortunately the shoe had a fault so had to be sent back. I did request an exchange but the replacements also had the same fault so also sent back. A shame because the shoes were right up my street.”

“The shoes are beautifully made - the smallest size you do is 36 but I am a 35 so I knew they would be very slightly too big but in reality they were massive and my fried who is a 37 found them roomy - you need to get the sizes right abs also cater for 35’s”

“I purchased a pair of trainers from daniels in windsor in the sale, they didn't suit me so I read your returns policy on the wesite to make sure I could return them, it all seemed fine so I took them back only to be told that Daniels had a different policy. The assistant refunded me after I said about the refund policy on the website but she wasn't happy about doing so and I wasn't made to feel valued.”

“Was delighted with the shoes. Although having to pay for returns took the shine off this. I am still awaiting a confirmation email to confirm they have received my return and what l returned. A week later still no confirmation of this.”

“Ordered 2 pairs of boots. Hermes was the courier. They "lost" them so they never arrived. No stock online so Christmas present ruined. PLEASE moda- change your courier!”
