“The delivery was good but I have had to return the shoes I ordered and am still waiting for a refund 10 working days after I sent them back, refunds shouldn't take this long these days... disappointed...”

“Loved the patent / quilted wellie boots, but I discovered that the international size of 41, isn't a size 8 ...in the uk...it's a size 7 1/2, so I had to return them as they were a tight fit : ( So far, I have rated Moda in Pelle [although I love your shoes!] as a rating of 2 .... as I think you should have addressed this sizing problem...a 41 isn't an 8”

“The design and quality looked great but they were all far too narrow. I returned them to one of your shops and the staff were friendly and helpful but said the loafers were all narrow and not really suited to older people as their feet get wider. Shame!”

“Shoes were beautiful but I am a size 8 which is a 42 not a 41. Very disappointed that the 8/41 were too small.”

“Shoes very narrow and leather stiff and inflexible. Had to pay to return, will not be ordering from Moda in Pelle again. Hard to unsubscribe as well from alerts and emails.”

“Ordered boots which arrived on time but were too small. I returned with Evri using the Moda returns service. The boots haven't been received by Moda but customer service wouldn't help and told me to go back to Evri, however, Evri consider Moda the customer so I have lost £100”

“While shoes and boots are generally of good quality, on this occasion I had a problem which resulted in a nasty cut to my thumb. The returns process is not fit for purpose & I find it ridiculous that I have had to wait 3-4 weeks for a refund.”

“My boots were damaged and I found returning them was going to be expensive. You did offer a 10% discount which I accepted but I still have a pair of faulty boots at not a greatly reduced price.”

“Up till recently, I had never returned anything to Moda in Pelle. The item I ordered was not as described. The returns refund process is frankly diabolical. They receive the item without incident and then procrastinate the refund. They say it takes 10 working days, utter nonsense, I have had to call once again and now they say it will now take a further 5days. They received the return on 15th August. Not sure if I would ever order from them again because of this.”

“The shoes were very uncomfortable after wearing them for an hour. I have now put them away and I won’t be wearing them again. They hurt the back of my feet terribly. I am very unhappy with my purchase.”

“I love many of the styles however sizes seen to have changed and vary. Size 6 always fits me, including previous Moda In Pelle shoes, however, last boots I bought were too small and last shoes I bought were too big. No local stores in NI so having to pay to return means it's sadly not worth the risk of ordering anymore”

“Unlike nearly all other online shops I was highly disappointed to pay my own postage return. Sadly the shoes were so uncomfortable. The packaging it came in was practically vacuum sealed as The bag had as much room as a condom on a sofa.”

“Although the shoes were pretty, I was unaware that Porvair meant plastic/synthetic....... I'm certainly glad that I didn't pay full price for them UPDATE I put the shoes on this morning and the right shoe is coming off the sole unit! I HAVE WORN THEM ONCE!!! I would appreciate contact from your Customer Service Department ASAP”

“The trainers were lovely however, after wearing them for the first time for 1 hour my feet were shredded. Blisters on both heels and the top of my toes. Sadly I'm stuck with them as you can't return after being worn. I haven't yet tried the second pair of shoes outside but I may also have the same problem with them although I hope not.”

“Love my shoes but ordered 2 different pairs and they are both too big and now I have to pay to return them so will not be ordering off Moda In Pelle again can get same shoes from another website and if they don’t fit can return FOC and order the smaller size which will hopefully fit. Not impressed with no free returns”

“I ordered a pair of sandals which arrived poorly made and marks all over them. I wasn't impressed with the quality at all. I contacted customer services and they said to send them back and they would cover the cost as faulty. Ice sent then back now so will see what happens. I usually love moda in pelle but was disappointed this time. I've given 2 stars purely for customer services, would have been less if the feedback was just for the shoes themselves.”
