“Love the quality, choice and the great colours of your leather footwear! Have been a loyal customer and have many pairs of your sandals, trainers and boots. I’ve loved the design of some of your non leather goods but don’t find them to be very comfortable & expensive for synthetic. Most disappointing I returned a pair of boots to store nearly a month ago (the day after they delivered) & still haven’t received a refund. I had an apology on Oct 1st but still no refund some 12 days later !”

“my recent experience has been poor with moda in pelle. i have contacted via online chat message, email and contact telephone. still waiting on a response from the 30th september 2025. (supposedly they respond within 4days to any queries) online services need a rehaul proxess and procedures need to be updated.”

“I made an order with Moda. To be fair the boots were really lovely but I couldn’t justify the spend as had something already that was very similar. That purchase was on the 9/9/25 returned to them that same week but return not processed. I still have not received a refund … this I think is pretty poor in todays financial climate and needs prompt addressing … if it takes this long now what will it be like during the festive period”

“Just love the quality of these well made shoes, but have noticed over the years how narrow the fit is decreasing, which is annoying when as you get older feet get wider, due to this I recently had to return a pair, actually it was 3 week ago, and guess what I am still waiting for my refund!”

“Website easy to use but can’t give full marks as still awaiting on a return payment for an item that was received back by moda in pelle on 8/9/25 I’ve been told there is an issue with technical system so I have to wait until that is resolved before I get refund yet they don’t have a problem taking my money for an order ?”

“Unfortunately my shoes were faulty which was such a shame as fabulous shoes. Waited a week for customer services to respond, unable to telephone as won’t accept calls, eventually returned via Evri and still no refund! Dreadful customer service.”

“Bought 3 pairs of trainers in the sale, which I am very happy with. I ordered 2 sizes in one of the styles. The Order was dispatched 5 days later, delivered 8 days later, a lot longer than most companies. I needed to return the larger size and that was on the 5th September, to a moda in pelle store. I'm still waiting for my refund; it's now the 25th September!! No response to my email as yet sent on 23rd September, so not great service all round!!”

“Usually happy with Moda but my last experience was disappointing. Ordered sandals. Returned on day I received them. Taken almost a month to receive my credit. Did chase credit and advised my return received but issues so would take longer. Offered 20% off my next order. Not good enough.”

“The shoes were lovely but the wrong shape for me The ordering and delivery and the speedy despatch of a larger size (sadly still didn't fit) was very efficient Refund process is very poor. I have now been waiting nearly a month for my refund”

“I have purchased several times from website and things have gone well however this time my return has been revived and refund has not been processed in the time they specify and communication has been difficult. I have requested my bank claim the refund due to no communication.”

“The quality of the merchandise is excellent, but sadly I had to return the item as they did not fit. Unfortunately, the return process to obtain a refund is over complex necessitating an additional response to the type of refund required.”

“The shoes are great quality but unfortunately my shoes didn't fit and I needed to return them. I drove all the way from Portsmouth to return them in the Guildford store only to find it is purely a drop off point and was not able to get an immediate refund. My shoes were sent back from the store. I was promised a refund within 10 working days. This did not arrive. I then followed it up by phone and was told my refund would be issued on a certain date. It did not arrive. I called again and was told there was a technical issue and that I would have to wait an additional unspecified amount of time until it was sorted. Please also be aware refund are not free postage and it is at yiu own cost. It's such a shame as the shoes are stylish and great quality. I would not buy again because refunds are so slow.”

“I found the website easy to use and was pleased that Mode in Pelle did half sizes. Unfortunately the trainers I ordered were too big and I had to return them. It took Moda in Pelle weeks to refund my money which I wasn't too happy about.”

“Delivered earlier than expected and shoes came very well packed. Bought 6 pairs of shoes in the sale. All very comfortable and from appearance looked very well made. Had to take 1 pair back as size was too big. Another pair was taken back due to the heel peeling off after 2 hours of wearing them. Refund for both pairs of shoes took nearly 3 weeks. Not sure how long the other pairs will last and glad that I got them in the sale as I would not have been very happy if I had paid full price as they were all priced near £100 or more a pair. Quality not as good as Clarks shoes and I don't think I would buy from Moda in Pelle again as their shoes are not built to last. For the price of their shoes you would expect them to last a few years but I would expect these to last me one summer.”
