“I had to return the shoes. They were too big, so not true to size. Also the back of the shoes came only part way up the heel so would not have fitted well if they had been the correct size.”

“I have been buying Moda in Pelle shoes for years, and I love them. However, I recently ordered two pairs of trainers and am so disappointed in them. The trainers are not in fact Moda in Pelle shoes - they are another make Galia. It should be made much clearer on the website that these are not Moda in Pelle shoes - not made by Moda in Pelle and not the same quality. I would have returned them but was out of the country when they were delivered and missed the returns window.”

“Absolutely love my new boots, they’re stylish but very comfortable and practical. However, I ordered 2 pairs and returned one to my local shop 3 weeks ago and the refund still has come back to me. The boxes were very badly damaged, but the boots were not.”

“I have raised multiple orders with Moda in Pelle. The quality of the shoes is reasonable for the price and there are regular discounts. The only downside of ordering on line is that the returns process is very slow as well as the response from customer service. However, delivery is always fast.”

“I love MIP shoes! I’m very sad my local store has closed recently as this means online shopping and potentially returning items a real hassle. Returns are slow, the courier was unable to locate the returns place the first time and I had to offer directions found online. I am still waiting for my money back, it’s been 9 days, this is too slow. It’s concerning.”

“Whilst the shoes are lovely,as a customer the online shopping experience leaves a lot to be desired. I paid for next day delivery but the order took 1 week to arrive which meant I bought an alternative pair of shoes from Carvella as I wanted them for a holiday. The return from Eldwick to Leeds took 14 days - I could have walked it quicker. I was told it would be up to 10 days for my return to be processed and now that has happened I have to wait a further 5 to 7 days to receive my money- to me this is completely unacceptable. I tried ringing on numerous occasions and was either disconnected after a 10 minute wait or had an answer message to say the line was closed (2pm last Friday) despite the website stating the lines were open until5pm. I will never use the online service again”

“Gorgeous shoes and boots that fit true to size. Delivery is quick, but if you have to return an item be prepared for a lengthy delay in getting a refund. The last 3 times, I've had to e-mail them having heard nothing after waiting the obligatory 10 working days. After then waiting for the e-mail to be actioned, Ive had to wait another 3-5 days for the refund to hit my account. If they soeted their returns out, I'd give them 5 stars instead of 3. I recently had a heel fail on a pair of boots I'd worn very little. Just under 12 months and they credited the full amount back to my account, so I can't knock the customer service, however, no-one wants to wait alnost 4 weeks for a refund.”
