“The shoes are great quality but unfortunately my shoes didn't fit and I needed to return them. I drove all the way from Portsmouth to return them in the Guildford store only to find it is purely a drop off point and was not able to get an immediate refund. My shoes were sent back from the store. I was promised a refund within 10 working days. This did not arrive. I then followed it up by phone and was told my refund would be issued on a certain date. It did not arrive. I called again and was told there was a technical issue and that I would have to wait an additional unspecified amount of time until it was sorted. Please also be aware refund are not free postage and it is at yiu own cost. It's such a shame as the shoes are stylish and great quality. I would not buy again because refunds are so slow.”

“I found the website easy to use and was pleased that Mode in Pelle did half sizes. Unfortunately the trainers I ordered were too big and I had to return them. It took Moda in Pelle weeks to refund my money which I wasn't too happy about.”

“Delivered earlier than expected and shoes came very well packed. Bought 6 pairs of shoes in the sale. All very comfortable and from appearance looked very well made. Had to take 1 pair back as size was too big. Another pair was taken back due to the heel peeling off after 2 hours of wearing them. Refund for both pairs of shoes took nearly 3 weeks. Not sure how long the other pairs will last and glad that I got them in the sale as I would not have been very happy if I had paid full price as they were all priced near £100 or more a pair. Quality not as good as Clarks shoes and I don't think I would buy from Moda in Pelle again as their shoes are not built to last. For the price of their shoes you would expect them to last a few years but I would expect these to last me one summer.”

“Disappointed to find the sandals I recently ordered were not the usual and expected high standard. They were not Moda in Pelle branded and were very sticky where beads had been stuck on. I returned them promptly. Usually, I love the shoes or boots I have bought from Moda in Pelle.”

“I purchased gold sandals & paid with klarna returned item on the 07/07/2025 still have not received refund 28/07/2025 the reason I returned the sandals they were in the sale 2 days after I had bought for full price would think twice about making any future purchases for this reason Disappointed with the service so far on the other hand the sandals were very nice and well made Look forward to my refund”

“Moda In Pelle are my favourite shoes but I was not too satisfied with the recent pair. The look very nice but not as comfortable as I thought they would be. I got a blister first time wearing them just by walking for 10mins and they are too narrow.”

“Sizes are not standard. Some shoes fit others don't, all same size 🤷‍♀️. Having to pay tracked/recorded delivery to return makes for an even more expensive pair of shoes I don't have. ☹️”

“I received these sandals on time an appearance looked great but on reflection the fasteners are poor fabric think and limp making it hard to fasten. Also on the lining sole already has an imprint of my foot unsure how long these are going to last”

“I have purchased many pairs of shoes and sandals all size 40, all fitted perfectly. I had no hesitation ordering on line. Disappointingly one pair was too big and one was too small. The package weighed just over 2lbs and cost £8-40 to return. If you can't trust the sizing sadly that experience bacame my last purchase on line”

“Lovely sandles, so comfortable. Everything I buy is always of the best quality. I have marked this purchase as 3 stars due to the returns service. It is very poor with no facility to generate a return on line, and when you do return items, there are no tracking updates available. Moda in Pelle seem to make it as awkward as possible to return items. Which to me is wrong and to be honest, puts me off from purchasing in the future. I returned 3 other pairs of sandals on this occasion and was really concerned that they had not arrived back at the MIP depot. This meant I could have lost a few hundred pounds. Please review your returns service Moda in Pelle!”
