“AVOID !! They are money robbers! I had an appointment yesterday! I have paid £150 for consultation my appointment supposed to be 11:45am -12:45pm i was expecting contact from them but they didn’t and i have been waiting from 11:30! Then I contacted customer service 12:45 thn the lawyer called me out of the time! 12:48 they refused to give my refund back or reschedule my appointment for another time! They just wasted my money and my time! I was expecting them to respect the time and the customers before anyone else! But clearly they are not professional at all! And they just simply money robbers! Please avoid them.”

“hey deliberately scammed me out of 200 EUR! When I inquired about obtaining Portuguese nationality through my grandfather, who was born in a former Portuguese colony, they promptly returned my call and made it seem like the process was straightforward. However, their website failed to mention any potential challenges that I would encounter. For instance: If your grandparent renounced their Portuguese nationality after independence, as most did, the process becomes significantly more complex. The process involves a lengthy timeline: approximately 3 years to gain nationality for a grandparent, another 3 years for a parent, and an additional 3 years for oneself. As a grandchild, you must also provide evidence of strong ties to Portugal, such as frequent visits and language proficiency. The advisory service merely connects you with a Portuguese immigration lawyer who, after reviewing your documents (which the advisory service neglects to send), quickly dismisses the possibility. I paid 200 EUR for just 5 minutes of their time.”

“My experience with this organisation was terrible. Booked an appointment to speak with an immigration lawyer one week ahead and even paid for it. They cancelled the appointment a day before and tried to give me another appointment one week later. Asked for a refund and they keep tossing me around. No communication. Literally spending hours on the phone with them just to arrange to get my money back. Honestly, if you want a serious immigration lawyer avoid these guys.”

I note from your file that we did cancel the session due the caseworkers availability, and that we contacted you to rearrange the session. Following this a refund request was raised and you were contacted the same day via email with confirmation on the refund process and timeframes. Your refund was then processed back to you within the 14 working days you were advised on as per our policy. “Please don't waste your time with this company, as their booking process is a disaster. I paid $280 for an online interview and nobody showed up. Eventually, after 17 minutes a lawyer popped up on my screen, but only after me having fired several emails to alert them I was waiting. The lawyer was nice and agreed it was unprofessional and that he would arrange a partial refund as we only had 13 minutes remaining of the 30-minute meeting. After the meeting, I reached out to the Booking Manager, and this is what his reply was: We do not issue refunds as a matter of policy. We're all human after all. But I guess no one is allowed to make a mistake.”

“I booked an appointment with IAS and paid £150. I was told by the receptionist over the phone that this would be refunded if the appointment was cancelled within 24 hours. I cancelled the appointment within 21 hours and received a refund of only £120, two weeks later, and was told that a £30 'administration fee' had been charged to cancel the appointment. This information is buried on the website, wasn't mentioned over the phone, and is not mentioned anywhere on the online booking form. It is impossible to get a response to my complaint from the IAS. There is no way that cancelling an online appointment would result in a £30 loss to the business - it is sneaky and unethical to charge this. If this business can't be trusted with something as simple as canceling an appointment, they cannot be trusted with anything as serious as a visa application.”

“my lawyer N.A victimized me for 6 months with wrong transactions. I had a mental and psychological breakdown and despite the bad service she gave me, I could not get back the fee I paid and she slandered me, sent an email claiming that the consular officer demanded money for the visa application and that I did not pay, and he accused me of being guilty. I think she got unfair advantage, she ate my right and sent false emails. I'm writing this comment and so that other people are not victimized.”

“They lost my important documents they imgoring my emails and when I call they always put me on different link where no one picking up ! I pay 1200 to get citizenship and they didn't do no citizenship and on top I bet my they lost and I will suit the company!”

“Trying to find a place to help me with my VISA application and using the online chat with Emmie. All they want to do is book you in and take your details, phone number etc, she couldn't actually answer any questions as simple as is the phone call in English...then she proceeded to hang up the chat. Really bad customer service, if its that bad with the first question doubt they will be much more helpful with the rest of the VISA application. Very rude.”

“I am writing this review after more than 7 months of trying to contact IAS for following up my application. I paid on time and everything was perfect till I made the payment to IAS 7 months ago approximately. Since than I have emailed them and called them repetitively without any response from IAS. I am disappointed as this has delayed my important work. Please avoid using them at all cost.”

“All I can say is these are nothing but liars and theafs ,they promise something and they say something else they take you money and then feed you some rubbish even when you explain to them exactly what I need they just rob you and these are not professional at all they have got a clue and I think rip off britan should here about your company and I'm not gonna hasetat to contact the (rip off britan) shambel and shambe of you thesare the people I have to deal with Mathew Fleming, Harpreet Kaur,Nicolas Lee ,I'm warning everyone do not use this company learn from my experience time wasting”

“Heard from our case worker once when we first made the enquiry, paid thousands upfront and since then we have had no contact unless it’s me chasing for information and updates. I’m sick of having to do the ground work when it’s not a cheap service”

“Absolutely do not use. They sign you up to a £150 consultation fee and don't outline any terms of reference, point you to any on the website or send any as a confirmation. They then ignore you if you have to re-arrange or cancel and, unfortunately i had to cancel my appointment, and they took £30 off my fee without consulting me or looking back through call recordings where I said i had absolutely no idea of the terms and conditions. Really not a good company to provide your money too.”

“**Worst experience ever, do not waste your time and money here** I contacted IAS as I wanted to re-apply for my pre-settled status, as I had doubts that it might be revoked due to my absences. Upon contacting IAS, the first case worker I was assigned to Ligia, after neglecting my case and after I made an official complaint about her, she emailed me saying she is no longer working with IAS and I was assigned to another caseworker Nasreen. Thought that after my 1st complaint, I’ll be assigned to a professional and attentive caseworker, the joke was on me. Nasreen had been negligent, during our online meeting never concentrated, I had to chase her with emails and calls and she was negative and discoursing from the begging of my process. After continuing and chasing Nasreen, she finally told me that she has uploaded my application and promised in writing that on the next day, she’d upload the evidence I provided her with and my Cover Letter. After waiting for 2 months, with no reply from the Home Office, I decided to call the Home Office and that’s when I heard the shocking news that I have no supporting evidence nor any Cover Letter uploaded. So what happened is I uploaded myself all the evidence and only after 2 days, I got a reply from the Home Office saying that I was granted Indefinite Leave to Remain. So thanks to Nasreen, I wasted 2 months waiting for nothing.. After I complained again to IAS and told them that the Home Office had confirmed there was no supporting evidence, they did an ‘investigation’ saying Nasreen had done everything and absolutely neglected what the Home Office told me. So afterwards, I emailed Abigail again, as I wanted further investigation to be done, but IAS didn’t even bother to reply to my email. And I paid for all of this £1700 + what a shame..”

“We had the initial phone call consultation where the lady told us she will send a written information regarding the next step. She never got back to us. I think her name is Natalie. Dodgy unprofessional company. I am not sure if the company is scamming people. Our first phone call was on the 21st of May 2023 and still chasing them every couple of days to no avail. If you are looking for immigration advise please avoid and look somewhere else.”

“Unfortunaly my experience with IAS was not worth the money. We booked the advice package, but received no information, we didn't already collect through a bit of prior research. The meeting was only 20min and we never received the promised written protocol/information of the meeting nor an invitation to the (also promised) second meeting to ask further questions. I personally regret having spent that money as I think 100 pounds was way to much for what we have received”
