“I had a problem with my washing machine tripping the Circuit. I called Glotech, an engineering came 3 days later, did some tests and ordered the part. The new part was fitted 2 days later. Arrived when they said and the price was fair. Very happy with the service.”

“The Engerniear came in to My house with the full knowledge about my wine cooler after I left a note about the faults that where wrong with it and then he was in my house 30 seconds opened the fridge door and said we need a new compressor and the office will call me tomorrow with a quote for the part supplied by them and then charged me £95 for the visit. Next day I had to call the office as they never made contact and the person who answered my call was so rude he actually laughed when I told him about the situation that happened the day before with his engineer he thought it was funny a man spent 30 seconds in my house and only opened the wine cooler door and diagnosed that it needed a new compressor without even looking at the back the back wine cooler and left with £95 oc my hard earned money and to add insult to injury the customer help line told me a new compressor is £729 for the particular model and that includes free fitting that was included in my call out fee of £95 please these people are a joke and only out to get the call out fee I am asking you to try other companies I also managed to get the same compressor for £145 on line and it was the same make and model”

“Not professionals! I have booked an engineer for my dishwasher and on the day of the visit they called and cancelled it because the engineer had called in sick. Made another booking, a week later. I received a call from the engineer 8.00 in the morning informing me that he will be arriving in 10 min. I kindly asked to give us 20 min to take our child to school. He agreed but still arrived at the house in 10 min and he started talking to my wife, in a not so polite way, that he can not wait because it is not cost effective, about things in the contract that we had agreed and left. This discussion took place for about 15 min, in which my wife could have dropped the child and returned. Also, my wife had to book 2 days off to be home for the visits that never happened! As about customer service, was not helpful at all! It is sad when you realise that they just care about their own profits and nothing else!”

“Unfortunately the repairman who visited said the part I required was no longer available. Charged me the call out fee and off he went. Felt very undervalued as a customer and probably didn’t fully understand the terms of business. I won’t however be using this service again. I feel if the product isn’t viable to repair the call out charge should be waived, 😠”

“Your engineers came out on Thursday this week following my visit earlier to your showroom when I spoke to Josh. After inspecting my built-in fridge freezer they advised me it was "Finished" and I should consider replacing it. Later that day I called into your showrooms again and was seen by Amy. I placed an order for a New Bosch Fridge Freezer and gave Amy a deposit for this order which I understand will be supplied and fitted this coming Thursday, the 1st June While writing this I would mention that I telephoned Glotech last Friday afternoon to confirm that my old units would be taken away and disposed of. The gentleman who answered the phoned spoke to me in a manner I considered abrupt, sharp, and unpleasant and which I found annoying. This was in complete contrast to the very pleasant way I was handled by your two members of staff, Josh and Amy who are both a credit to your Company. I have dealt with Glotech before having purchased my existing fridge/freezer from your company in October 2009.”

“I think that the system is a bit of a con as in the majority of cases the cost of repair is more than the cost of a new machine, so you are paying an engineer £90 for doing nothing.”

“Engineer called half an hour before he arrived. He was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. Took him about 20 to diagnose that the tablet dispenser on my dishwasher was faulty and tripping the electrics and needed replacing. The company sourced the part within a few days and the engineer returned to fit it a couple of days later once I had agreed on a date with the office. I wasn't charged labour for the follow-up visit and (after checking) the price charged for the part was the same as I could have bought myself online. Good service.”
