“This company seem to be based in Chippenham but have a Bmth number, but still came quite promptly. We then had to wait nearly a week for the new pump to come even though I told them that was the problem, you could not fail to hear it. Came today and fitted it but had to use old filter as new filter leaked in new pump, clever these Chinese! All well in the end and now its so nice to have our machine back-a 40C load in 63 mins, not like these new ones! 140 mins ha!.”

“Had an engineer called to look at our induction hob as it was not working. Charged for the call out and told it needed replacing. They recommended we use them so we did. Two guys came and installed the new hob, unfortunately wasn't there as I was working but they left without it working and taking thr other away telling us to talk to an electrician. Pathetic really after the initial call out to wall away like this. Unfortunately hadn't really looked at this as trusted their engineer so took the oven out to get access to the hob and basically discoverd it was tripping. You could see the power light switch on briefly when switching off and on. The same issue with the old hob as described by my girlfriend. So I just put a new plug on and plugged it In...well it worked and transpired there was nothing wrong with the previous one. GLO Tech refused to refund anything. Not the call out and wrong diagnosis, not for leaving me with bo hob etc etc. They were patronising with there response with show me a pic of the plug socket, you can't prove the old one was working...the same goes They can't prove the new one did as they left with it not working! . Their engineers and staff are unqualified and they are a disgrace , they are nothing but bandits and when I have time will be opening a claim with them. Avoid”

“Excellent service. Only gripe is cost per call out. Mine was simple, quick and straightforward, so a call out fee of £90 seemed a bit steep. Having said that, I was advised of the fee beforehand, just didn’t realise it was only a two minute job for the engineer.”

“Easy to book, turned up on time and the guy was friendly and polite. Had booked glotech for an issue with my bell fridge freezer, the engineer came out and after a few minutes conversation told my wife he thought the compressor was gone and we needed a new fridge freezer. He then charged £90 for a few minutes of conversation! Didn’t examine the fridge or make any attempts to do any work, didn’t pull the fridge out to test the compressor or his theory and even the engineer said we should call up for some money back. Rang the next day which was a Saturday to be told I would need to speak with a manager who wasn’t in on weekends but the caller handler took all may details and emailed the manager and stated I would get a call back on Monday, not had a call all week. Under the circumstances I think the service has been poor, once they have your money they are clearly not interested. The engineer was a nice guy and his advice may be spot on but £90 for a few minutes conversation seems obscene! When booking I was told I would receive a phone call prior to my appointment but I never did, I can’t help but think if the engineer had called prior to arrival I would of had the same result without the need for a visit that would cost £90. Then to add insult to injury glotech send emails telling me they hope my fridge freezer is working well again and would I like to review their service when no attempt to fix the issue was even made!”

“Awful experience - please avoid and use a different repair service. There are lots of good repair services out there, so don't take your chances with Glotech. We booked a repair appointment on Friday, but despite advertising same/next day appointments on their website, Wednesday morning was the earliest available timeslot. Then the day before the booking, we received a text message to say that the booking slot would be for the whole day and not just the morning. I rang to find out if I could get an approximate ETA on the morning of the booking, but that wasn't available, meaning we had to reschedule our plans for the day. By 4:30pm, the engineer still hasn't arrived, so I called again to find out what was going on. After being on hold for over 30mins, I finally got through only to be told that the engineer was unable to attend. The customer service person then said that the next available appointment was Monday morning - over a week after contacting Glotech! I pointed out to the customer service person that this would mean another £50 trip to the laundrette to clean my family's clothes, but they didn't care. It's a real shame because we have used Glotech in the past and have received good service, but maybe that was just good luck. The engineers are knowledgeable and friendly, but it's disappointing that this isn't consistent throughout Glotech.”

“The service we received from the Glotech Engineer for our AEG Freezer was very good. He was polite, friendly and efficient and checked the freezer thoroughly. The freezer is now running well again and we have experienced no further issues. The cost of the service call out was reasonable.”

“My mum paid or £77.95 for 10mins work they need to make the price you paid planer that is or £400 hour i feel my 86 year old mum was conned I would not recommend this company to anybody”
