On Saturday 26th June at 9.27 I spoke with one of your ladies regarding the urgent (if possible) repair of a Beko Washer / Dryer. The lady concerned managed to get us an appointment for Thursday 1st July between 08.00 and 13.00. I was told that the engineer would call us with a an approximate planned arrival time once he had booked his route for the day. Thursday 1st June 8.00 am I took to my office desk on the ground floor facing the road outside my property. At 9.30 approximately I rang your office to see if I could get an approximate time of your engineers arrival. I was told this was not possible but he would ring me when he was on his way. I had work to do so carried on at my desk all morning. At 13.00pm I rang your office and spoke to a lady (with a colourful accent) to find out where my engineer was. She put me on hold and rang the engineer. Apparently the engineer tried to call me before arrival and in fact arrived at my property but was unable to gain an answer from my door or from my phone. I believe she said this was at about 9.20 am. I was at my desk front of house all morning I explained and nobody and no vehicle had been to my house. I further explained that my house and mobile phone had no incoming calls recorded. The lady then proceeded to tell me she had proof that the engineer had visited at the said time because it was recorded on your system. I protested that this was not the case at my end and she would not listen. The lady offered me another appointment which I refused and I asked for the engineer to call back today. The lady refused and said that it was my fault that the engineer missed the appointment. I did not miss your engineer, there were no phone calls, there were no calls on the doorbell or camera. I do not lie and take exception to the way I was treated by your lady receptionist. So where do we go from here, because the lady`s attitude, lack of customer awareness and empathy I will take every opportunity to alert people that they use your repair service reluctantly. I had my dishwasher repaired today. The technician that came round had to remove the kickboard, which was fair enough. But in doing so he damaged the kickboard. Not once did he tell me he'd damaged it. I also asked him if he had screwed the kickboard back in and he said yes. I opened the dishwasher door after he left and the kickboard fell down - obviously not screwed in. I do not appreciate paying £89 for someone to damage my kitchen and not own up to it.

Website provides utterly false info on availability of engineer. Website allowed me to book engineer for next day. Now contacted by phone today engineer not available for 9 days! Even though website is still showing availability in 2 days. If they can't get their website/booking process right, not sure I trust them with my repair. Going somewhere else.

This company seem to be based in Chippenham but have a Bmth number, but still came quite promptly. We then had to wait nearly a week for the new pump to come even though I told them that was the problem, you could not fail to hear it. Came today and fitted it but had to use old filter as new filter leaked in new pump, clever these Chinese! All well in the end and now its so nice to have our machine back-a 40C load in 63 mins, not like these new ones! 140 mins ha!.

Had an engineer called to look at our induction hob as it was not working. Charged for the call out and told it needed replacing. They recommended we use them so we did. Two guys came and installed the new hob, unfortunately wasn't there as I was working but they left without it working and taking thr other away telling us to talk to an electrician. Pathetic really after the initial call out to wall away like this. Unfortunately hadn't really looked at this as trusted their engineer so took the oven out to get access to the hob and basically discoverd it was tripping. You could see the power light switch on briefly when switching off and on. The same issue with the old hob as described by my girlfriend. So I just put a new plug on and plugged it In...well it worked and transpired there was nothing wrong with the previous one. GLO Tech refused to refund anything. Not the call out and wrong diagnosis, not for leaving me with bo hob etc etc. They were patronising with there response with show me a pic of the plug socket, you can't prove the old one was working...the same goes They can't prove the new one did as they left with it not working! . Their engineers and staff are unqualified and they are a disgrace , they are nothing but bandits and when I have time will be opening a claim with them. Avoid

I booked my repair, I was told the repair part would be on the van and given an indicative price. When the technician arrived he didn't have the spare part and the prices escalated beyond the price of a new machine

The lady who answered the phone was polite and very helpful. The engineer was also polite and had the job sorted very quickly and now we have a correctly working oven.

Repairer didn't fix the problem. Didn't take a tool out of bag. Suggested we just add vinegar to fix the problem. Won't be using you again.

Repairs carried out no problem. Call out price excessive £100+ Visit only lasted 30mins I understand travelling time needs to be paid for but still seems excessive

Excellent service. Only gripe is cost per call out. Mine was simple, quick and straightforward, so a call out fee of £90 seemed a bit steep. Having said that, I was advised of the fee beforehand, just didn’t realise it was only a two minute job for the engineer.

Easy to book, turned up on time and the guy was friendly and polite. Had booked glotech for an issue with my bell fridge freezer, the engineer came out and after a few minutes conversation told my wife he thought the compressor was gone and we needed a new fridge freezer. He then charged £90 for a few minutes of conversation! Didn’t examine the fridge or make any attempts to do any work, didn’t pull the fridge out to test the compressor or his theory and even the engineer said we should call up for some money back. Rang the next day which was a Saturday to be told I would need to speak with a manager who wasn’t in on weekends but the caller handler took all may details and emailed the manager and stated I would get a call back on Monday, not had a call all week. Under the circumstances I think the service has been poor, once they have your money they are clearly not interested. The engineer was a nice guy and his advice may be spot on but £90 for a few minutes conversation seems obscene! When booking I was told I would receive a phone call prior to my appointment but I never did, I can’t help but think if the engineer had called prior to arrival I would of had the same result without the need for a visit that would cost £90. Then to add insult to injury glotech send emails telling me they hope my fridge freezer is working well again and would I like to review their service when no attempt to fix the issue was even made!

Very polite engineer. Prompt , in fact early! Mask worn. Protected work surfaces and floor in the kitchen. Unfortunately my combi oven is too expensive to repair.

Called on the Monday. Ben arrived at lunchtime. Cracked on, fixed the issue and left me feeling clear on why it had happened and how to ensure it didn't happen again. Super helpful and I felt relived to have found Glotech repairs. No hesitation in recommending them at all.

We were very happy with the prompt service offered by Glotech, and the efficiency and courtesy of the engineer in repairing our oven. The price was reasonable - mostly the fixed call out charge - and we would be happy to use Glotech again and recommend them to others.
