Our dishwasher was serviced today, first time. It was easy to order the service, Jim the engineer came on time and promptly did the repair: he brought with him the part needed and installed in 15 minutes. Great, efficient and friendly service, we will recommend Glotech to our friends.

I got a call the morning of my repair saying the engineer had quit with no notice. I understand you can't prevent that, but whomever called made no suggestions as to how I could get a repair other than going to another company. Which seemed bad for your company and my problem. It seems like you could have asked engineers from other areas to slowly cover the repairs in West London over the next week or two, rather than leaving your customers stranded in the same way that your engineer left you stranded. .

An excellent service. We were not familiar with Glotech and therefore were not sure whether we should use the Siemens engineer. But we were very satisfied, the Glotech engineer was very efficient and knew exactly what was required.

Easy to book, friendly and very helpful engineer that came with good advice and sorted my machine quickly . Would use again (but hope my washing machine doesn’t break again !)

Service was appalling. Engineer knew nothing about the fridge/freezer and left it damaged. he promised to get back to me the same day about the availability of the grill that he damaged but a week later there's been no reply. I showed him what I took to be the problem (icing of the grill between the fridge and freezer) and told him that I'd tried to remove it using warm water but couldn't get behind the grill without prising it off which I was loathe to do without knowing how to get it on again. He simply prised it off with a screwdriver, melted the ice with a hot blower and then couldn't get the grill to re-attach. He spent the rest of the time warming the door seal with my wife's hair drier even though the door seal was OK. Said he would find out how to replace the grill when he got back to the office but hasn't got back to us in a week' Complete waste of money and will never use Glotech again.

Extremely poor service. Letting agency booked dishwasher change through them. Steve and Jack arrived with new dishwasher and claimed couldn’t fit the new one in because the isolation switch needed to be changed and that involved a plumber. Left the dishwasher in the middle of the hallway and refused to do anything before getting a plumber in. Plumber came a week later and claimed there was nothing wrong and the dishwasher could have been fitted earlier on and he did the job that Steve and Jack should have done, in the best way he could. He even fitted it temporarily, although this was out of his duty. Phil came today and with this surprise he didn’t know that work had to be done on the dishwasher to be properly fitted and he did the job brilliantly in no time, which should have been done in the first place without having us to wait for 3 weeks with a dishwasher placed in the middle of the hallway for so long. You need to have a word with your engineer because someone is clearly not doing their job properly.

Service appointment cancelled at I days notice rescheduled for 10 days time. Error in work schedule totally down to Glotech but no effort made to honour original appointment. Not able to talk to service manager as said that he was at meetings all day. Poor service. Management need to take greater responsibility to sort out problems. My diary cleared to accommodate original appointment now totally wasted.

Kindly leaving 1 star. Do not use this company the engineers who do come out are fantastic but they have to deal with the shoddy owner and admin staff who together couldn't organise a drink in a brewery! Glotech in Dartford have been horrendous, no communication, claim you have not paid any money, which I have seen is a common with the company and to top it off our part was sent the Leeds branch which the owner found funny?? Save your money and more importantly your time and book with a decent company.

Ridiculous call out charge for wrong parts then sent; still waiting for refund from parts; quick to take money then stall to refund Telephone communication extremely poor; always 'number 13/14' in the queue no matter what time I called; had to give up due to the time ended up waiting Please do not use this company

I did an internet earched for someone to repair an CDA wine cooler and Glotech came up as CDA appliance repairer. When the engineer came to visit he diagnosed the fault then told me he couldn't repair it as CDA only supply parts to CDA approved repairers and it appears Glotech aren't on that list. A complete waste of £64.95. It's abit of a con listing manufacturers they can't repair.

The person who came made no attempt to repair or replace parts to fix put fridge freezer. He simply told us it wasn't working which we already knew. The info could have been given based on our booking notes over the phone avoiding the call out. We were charged £90 for nothing. I don't think he had any intention of fixing it. This company is a massive rip off.

Initially service was good and the engineer was fine.I was told by the engineer that the parts would be ordered that day. I wasn’t advised that payments needed to be taken for parts. The engineer came on the Monday but I didn’t get a call till the weekend. I thought they were calling to book the engineer in again but a whole week has passed and actually no the ing had been done. I paid for the parts but then didn’t hear anything so that was a total of 11 days passed. I called and they said ‘oh the parts are in’ no one had called me and it was me chasing. I booked an engineer in but that evening they cancelled the apt and now the parts are on back order. I called to complain and the lady was really not interested and said to email. I emailed and the same lady replied ? Bit pointless really. The reply is what really annoyed me -the rude. Patronising tone …’but you have to understand’. So far I’ve paid £100 and actually nothing has been done. I now have to wait two weeks for parts. So that will be a total of 4 weeks since the engineer visited. This is unacceptable and spending around £20 a week on laundrette costs. I have two small children and I’m struggling without a washing machine.

I originally booked online for an appointment, received confirmation, and then got called the day before to say they couldnt attend. I rebooked again online for 2 days later in the afternoon. Then later that same day I got another call to say they cannot do that appointment either, but could do the AM. I rescheduled my calendar again to accommodate the AM. I then got a phone call the day before responding to my original email and wanting to book an appointment. I told them I already had an appointment. They told me I didn't despite previous calls and emails confirming I did, and that they couldn't accommodate until the following week. I told them to cancel it and don't bother. The following day two engineers turn up at my door, I wasn't expecting them but was also pleasantly surprised as I hadn't managed to find another company to come and repair my faulty tumble dryer. The two engineers spent no more than 15-20 minutes looking at the dryer and then they informed me that this is an obsolete machine and they cant get spare parts. They advised me their office would look to find parts from alternative suppliers and that I would get a call back. Anyway, long story short, they cant repair the machine, another company can and can find the parts, but Glotech cant - they wont offer a refund or help in anyway. They clearly need to find better suppliers who can source parts for obsolete machines like other companies can, and they refused to come back and fit the part if I was able to source it (which I could!). Absolute con and rip off in my experience. I would use a local firm in the future.

I was going to arrange a repair with these and started the process to do so but did not complete the application and confirm details for direct debit and payment authorisation. I exited and reviewed them & due to some of the negative ones I went with Indesit themselves. Payment was pending on my account and after speaking to customer service who confirmed it would not be taken it now has been taken even though I am not suing their services. FURIOUS! Now I have to waste time retrieving my money for no reason.

On Saturday 26th June at 9.27 I spoke with one of your ladies regarding the urgent (if possible) repair of a Beko Washer / Dryer. The lady concerned managed to get us an appointment for Thursday 1st July between 08.00 and 13.00. I was told that the engineer would call us with a an approximate planned arrival time once he had booked his route for the day. Thursday 1st June 8.00 am I took to my office desk on the ground floor facing the road outside my property. At 9.30 approximately I rang your office to see if I could get an approximate time of your engineers arrival. I was told this was not possible but he would ring me when he was on his way. I had work to do so carried on at my desk all morning. At 13.00pm I rang your office and spoke to a lady (with a colourful accent) to find out where my engineer was. She put me on hold and rang the engineer. Apparently the engineer tried to call me before arrival and in fact arrived at my property but was unable to gain an answer from my door or from my phone. I believe she said this was at about 9.20 am. I was at my desk front of house all morning I explained and nobody and no vehicle had been to my house. I further explained that my house and mobile phone had no incoming calls recorded. The lady then proceeded to tell me she had proof that the engineer had visited at the said time because it was recorded on your system. I protested that this was not the case at my end and she would not listen. The lady offered me another appointment which I refused and I asked for the engineer to call back today. The lady refused and said that it was my fault that the engineer missed the appointment. I did not miss your engineer, there were no phone calls, there were no calls on the doorbell or camera. I do not lie and take exception to the way I was treated by your lady receptionist. So where do we go from here, because the lady`s attitude, lack of customer awareness and empathy I will take every opportunity to alert people that they use your repair service reluctantly. I had my dishwasher repaired today. The technician that came round had to remove the kickboard, which was fair enough. But in doing so he damaged the kickboard. Not once did he tell me he'd damaged it. I also asked him if he had screwed the kickboard back in and he said yes. I opened the dishwasher door after he left and the kickboard fell down - obviously not screwed in. I do not appreciate paying £89 for someone to damage my kitchen and not own up to it.

Website provides utterly false info on availability of engineer. Website allowed me to book engineer for next day. Now contacted by phone today engineer not available for 9 days! Even though website is still showing availability in 2 days. If they can't get their website/booking process right, not sure I trust them with my repair. Going somewhere else.
