“Not impressed they we’re lucky to get three stars Managed to get a lot off excuses and £100 refund after a few weeks on a £1000 plus patio canopy from palram that was damaged by laying the steelwork on top of the polycarbonate sheets Only one that had a clue was Dave”

“Difficult one as ordering and price was great downside was delivery, no communication whatsoever and expensive gate dumped in front garden in sight of every passerby, lucky it was still there when I got home. If I was GardenStreet I would be thinking of changing courier or at least having a word with them they are losing you stars.”

“Recently ordered triple bin store. Arrived promptly. Very friendly delivery man. Disappointed with aspects of this bin store. Advertised as top quality and as a solid build. It isn't. The front is very flimsy. Some of the wooden boards arrived broken or split. My husband had to replace them. Some of them weren't attached properly as the nails were sticking out. We feel that it would benefit from handles on the lids so added them ourselves. Overall it does make the garden look much tidier but it's quality doesn't match the high price tag.”

“I purchased a shed from garden street .co.uk, which said it was fully assembled. However, when it arrived it was flat-packed and very heavy. The driver told me that they never send out sheds fully assembled, thankfully he placed it in my yard, as I could not have moved it due to it's weight. If an older person had ordered this they would have been quite shocked and probably had difficulty assembling it.”

“Product good value for money took over stated time to arrive Improvements needed on pallet they wasnst aware if had right customer as dumped on road . Had a sick husband so how was I going to get it in myself”

“I was really pleased and impressed with the price of our log store, other providers were charging a much higher price. The item was delivered within estimated timescales. There was a problem with the roof where the front had snapped and another slat had snapped where a nail went in. When I called the help line they were quick and efficient in their support and a new roof was ordered after emailing in a couple of photos. We've now been able to fully assemble the store and really pleased with it. We did find there was 1 screw that we had trouble with at the bottom but this could just be down to chance of a knot in the wood.”

“We are very happy with the finished product however we were not happy with the condition of the item received. The floor was unacceptable (big gaps in boards and not strong enough for purpose) so we had to buy sheets of MDF to put down. The finish of the wood was also terrible. Very rough and would not have been safe to let a child play inside. A lot of sanding was needed just to make this safe. The wood also had several large holes which had to be filled. If I had time to return this and order another in time for my daughter's birthday I would have. After a lot of work and additional cost I am extremely happy with the finished product but not sure i would be able to recommend.”

“The furniture arrived on time in large boxes which the driver refused to take round to the back of the house. I was in hospital at the time so my wife had to unpack the boxes and carry the settees, chairs and table around to the back of the house on her own. Apart from that bad experience, we love the dining set and have used it many times when the weather has alowed.”

“Very satisfied with ordering and delivery process. The assembly instructions were basic. It was not very clear where the screws should go to assemble the seat. It would have been helpful if the holes had already been drilled. Pleased with the end product after a fraught construction process.”

“The company, I can't complain too much about. The delivery wasn't put as far back on my drive as I had asked, which meant I had very little space for my car. The shed though, a different matter. A piece was missing from the roof panel, nails not connected to anything, pieces missing from some of the tongue and groove, not square, one door was cut wavey, the windows are flimsy and could easily be yanked open. My builders had to adjust everything. They cursed all the way through putting it up. They couldn't believe I had paid that much for such poor quality. The recommended getting a partial refund, which I haven't done, so far. I have just been too stressed and disappointed by a Mercia shed. It is up and looks ok from a distance. I know where the flaws are. It does a job, keeps my things dry.”

“3 Seater Arbour - Delivery came with only 15 minutes notice with a phone call from the driver, I never got a call prior to this to confirm a date and as no one was at home the driver had to leave it on the driveway. When assembling, pre-drilled holes would have been beneficial to help fix each section not only in the correct location but to stop any rounding off of screws before they were secured. Luckily I am a builder and with the right tools this was easy to assemble to a layman this could be very difficult. When complete looks great.”

“Experience overall was fine. Couple of things though…initially told that there was 16/18 week lead time, but then received a random SMS (nothing from Garden Street) from a delivery company only a couple of weeks after ordering providing a delivery date of the following week. Couldn’t figure out what it might be and thought it was just a scam…I finally figured out it might be this item, but had to chat to Garden Street to make sure. They advised they didn’t know as they pass orders over to delivery company. I had to ask them to investigate to make sure - and they did to be fair - and very quickly. Courier company arrived on day they said they would (delivery guys were really great) but I was never given contact details for delivery company, therefore couldn’t change date. Also was not provided with an delivery timeslot, so had to just wait in. The date given was a Saturday so not too bad but would have been a different story if it was a working day for me. So overall, item was delivered months ahead of schedule, I wasn’t actually ready for it but made it work. (Just for clarity, an earlier delivery was much better but I’d made alternate arrangements by then based on lead time stated when I ordered). Communication could be much improved between Garden Street/courier/customer though. I would definitely order from Garden Street again but would also keep in mind what I’ve stated above.”

“Product is great. Stars relate to booking a delivery followed by a no show, no phone call saying there was a problem and me having to do the chasing to re-book and then phone to confirm it was coming as that was lacking as well.”

“Bought a 3 Bin Tidy Store from Garden St. Good price but if I’d know how long delivery would take I would have ordered from another company. I had to call to check confirm when I could expect delivery. Delivery, by Rowlinson Garden Products, was late (outside the 5 business days quoted). The parts were dumped in my from garden.”
