“Ordered a post box, however, when I telephoned to see how long delivery would take, the information I was given was confusing. I asked if I would actually receive the product I actually ordered, but was told it could be a different variation. I then decided to telephone the company who actually made the postboxes, however, could not get any senesible information, so decided to cancel my order altogether, and get a refund.”

“I ordered the 4 seater St Tropez Garden furniture set with parasol. This did not come with a base, so I ordered a base separately. I picked the base that was at the bottom of the web page "what other customers bought". I assumed this would fit the 4 seater set. There was nothing to say which models it would fit. This base does not fit the parasol. Garden Street have been difficult with the return and exchange and will not pay for the return (a significant amount as it is >12kg)”

“Garden Street were not very helpful during the process of ordering a gate. It took at least three phone calls to get a quote for the work, and it was at least 6 weeks before I finally found out the cost. I ordered a bespoke sized gate, and they refused to supply the gate with hinges in the position that would fit the existing posts. I ended up doing a considerable amount of DIY metal work when the gate arrived, and although it looks very nice it was not a wonderful experience.”

“Awful experience with this company. I ordered a garden furniture set over the weekend and payment of almost £1,000 was taken. The order was subsequently confirmed and I was advised that I would be contacted by the delivery company to arrange delivery. The delivery company duly arranged delivery with me for tomorrow and I arranged to take the day off work and also disposed of my old garden furniture in preparation. I had an email this afternoon from Garden Street cancelling my order with no apology and a statement that their warehouse didn't have it in stock. I spoke to a customer services advisor who said that it was a technical error and there is nothing he could do. I said I would leave a review so other customers were aware that this is their idea of good customer service. He said that is no problem at all and goodbye.”

“Dreadful service. Placed an order. 7 days later,received a delivery date & time. On the delivery day, contacted the delivery company to check timings & was informed that the order had been cancelled. No email/ call from Garden Street! Rang them, answer was it's out of stock. Cameron refused to let me speak to a manager or give me a reasonable explanation as to why they hadn't bothered to let me know. I had rearranged meetings etc. He said " you'll have to write in! Beyond incompetent! After my phone call , they then sent me an email informing me that the order was cancelled!!!!!”
