“Not a great experience. Was sent a damaged product which was due to be a special gift for my parents diamond wedding. No real apology or customer service, had to chase several times for a response and they finally said they would send me a replacement part which also took some chasing. Very disappointing”

“Bought a garden planter and lattice. Looked great in the photo. What a shambles when I unpacked it. No instructions or screws. When I did receive them you have to drill your own pilot holes. The planks are different lengths. Nothing is square. Looked like it was hurriedly put together by a novice using a staple gun. I expected better for £80. Won't buy from this company again.”

“Ordered a post box, however, when I telephoned to see how long delivery would take, the information I was given was confusing. I asked if I would actually receive the product I actually ordered, but was told it could be a different variation. I then decided to telephone the company who actually made the postboxes, however, could not get any senesible information, so decided to cancel my order altogether, and get a refund.”

“I ordered the 4 seater St Tropez Garden furniture set with parasol. This did not come with a base, so I ordered a base separately. I picked the base that was at the bottom of the web page "what other customers bought". I assumed this would fit the 4 seater set. There was nothing to say which models it would fit. This base does not fit the parasol. Garden Street have been difficult with the return and exchange and will not pay for the return (a significant amount as it is >12kg)”

“Garden Street were not very helpful during the process of ordering a gate. It took at least three phone calls to get a quote for the work, and it was at least 6 weeks before I finally found out the cost. I ordered a bespoke sized gate, and they refused to supply the gate with hinges in the position that would fit the existing posts. I ended up doing a considerable amount of DIY metal work when the gate arrived, and although it looks very nice it was not a wonderful experience.”

“Waited far to long for delivery, then delivery was poorly done, upon assembly the shed was notably low quality. OK you may say that for the price what would you expect, well under consumer law it must be of 'merchantable quality' as a basic standard and it only just scraped through on that one. With hindsight I would have spent more to ensure a better product (well hopefully)”

“Good product but incredibly poor service! Despite placing order on via the website I had to phone as order was still waiting in "to be picked" for nearly a week. After dispatching the canopey the delivery Company failed to deliver on the day as promised (without apology or any communication) leaving me to chase. Very disappointing.”

“Really poor communication I had to chase on numerous occasions for initial delivery despite being told their courier would contact me to arrange. When one chair was damaged I had to chase numerous times to get a replacement of the damaged item. We have had 2 failed attempts at obtaining a replacement - they sent the wrong chair then just an arm cap!? It was only resolved when I contacted the manufacturer who were really helpful and resolved my issue. The whole saga took over a month, to add further insult I now note the set has been significantly discounted 😂”

“I ordered over the phone but they got my name and email wrong. Then they sent the wrong shed and the fixings were missing which I had to ring up about and they took another 4 days to arrive. But the bag also had facing wood strips in so now need to find someone else to attach these I had to get the shed put up as had arranged for someone to do it for me luckily they had some hinges we could use. It didn’t paint well as was bright orange and took a lot of covering with Cuprinol paint The shed was very cheap wood disappointed all round.”

“Good quality item but had to drill one hole as it hadn’t been drilled. That wasn’t a big deal. Shocking customer support. Ordered based on a 10 working day delivery. Took around 3 1/2 weeks to be delivered. I had to keep chasing Garden Street and then waited days for response. Very poor service.”

“Ordered a small shed that was claimed to be on a 5 to 10 working day delivery. Price was good and the spec was what we were looking for. The shed was delivered late - it took 15 working days - and there was no communication about when it would be delivered. When putting up the shed, the instructions indicated some parts that hadn't been delivered. On further inspection and trial, the instructions were incorrect, but one of the panels didn't fit. They had sent 2 LHS panels and not a LHS&RHS. We notified that the panel needed replacing and wer informed that it would be 2 days to arrive. That was 1 week ago and we are still waiting for the replacement panel to arrive.”

“I was very disappointed to realise that there was an element of deceit from Garden Street as when I purchesed the item online, it was said to be in stock and was expcting it to delivered within 5 working days at least. However, It took me exactly 1 month to get my Gaden set delivered. Very disppointed.”

“Delivery appalling. No communication, was first notified about delivery when it was outside my house and I was at work. Second attempt I was in, but no time frame given. Driver was rude, almost laughing at my predicament as he left pallet and 70 kilos of product on the pavement with “this is as far as it goes”. Wouldn’t even put on to my front garden with his machine. I write to Garden Street expressing my disappointment but heard absolutely nothing.”
