About Flowers by Post:

Our flower market stall (which is still going strong) was established in 1968 in Jersey’s historic Central Market. The business has steadily evolved and grown over time and we pioneered the concept of sending “flowers by post” enabling visitors to the island to send flowers to their family, friends and neighbours.
With the advent of the internet we created our first website and to service this growing demand relocated the online business to the mainland enabling us to access greater flower supplies and help the logistics’ of floral delivery.
We embrace the different ways our customers wish to purchase and engage with us whether that is online or by using our FREEPHONE 0800 735 1065 telephone number.
We strive to provide our customers with first class product; value for money; simple ordering processes and on time delivery methods using Royal Mail and Yodel Courier services. We match this with exceptional customer service.

Ordered flowers on Sunday 1st August for delivery on Thursday 5th August for daughter in law coming home from hospital. Very disappointed flowers did not arrive until Friday late pm. Have used before and always had the delivery on time or early. Having ordered four days in advance would have expected better. Explanation that I could expect 72 hour delay to scheduled delivery day is not acceptable.

Very disappointed, flowers arrived a say late. Wrong card sent with the flowers causing unnecessary distress. Would not recommend

Order did not arrive on 29 July as requested. On your advice paid extra £5.95 for Courier delivery. Flowers eventually arrived 30 July at 11.50 by DPD - a day late. Very unhappy.

Very poor quality. I would certainly have expected this product to have lasted longer than four days. I won’t be using this company again!

Unfortunately the orchids my sister in law received from you last week have not lasted! They arrived when expected which is good. She did not leave or put them in a warm room so goodness knows what happened as I am away and could not visit her to find out.

Rating would have been much higher as booking the flowers is made very easy. However, I have today contacted my friend who should have received the flowers on 12 July has as of yet (14 July) not received them spoiling her birthday!

Very disappointed. Marie sent me a picture of the flowers. They looked very sparce. There was no greenery to fill out the gaps. I will not order from you again, and do not want any junk mail from you. Two stars given, the second one is for the delivery, which was on time.

Flowers didn't arrive on my chosen day. Had to spoil the surprise by asking my sister to check her garden and with the neighbours. Emailed to ask why they hadn't arrived and received a verbal shrug email basically saying you only say 95% of your flowers arrive on the chosen day! Didn't see that anywhere when I ordered. They arrived the next day but I was very disappointed with the service.

The fist stage is when you choose whether you would like Royal Mail, weekday tracked or Saturday tracked and the other stage is when you have chosen Royal Mail and are selecting a date in the calendar, under the calendar it once again states 95% of orders are delivered on your chosen day. The flowers were lovely but were ordered for and to arrive by Wednesday 9th June for an anniversary but they did not arrive until Thursday 10th June.

I was upset that after all the years I have been using your company, you somehow completely mucked up my sister's special 70th birthday by not delivering the flowers on time. You claim you have no idea who changed the delivery date on the order. Nevertheless, it ruined the surprise for her & made me look a fool as I had told her to watch for them to arrive. It makes me nervous of ordering in the future which is a shame as I have always been happy with your service before this unhappy incident. When they did arrive, theywere great.

This delivery fine I was relieved to hear. However 867065 ? 2/5/21 was complained about and we have heard nothing. The rust coloured flowers died in bud making the whole bouquet highly unattractive. They were for my mother on the death of my father and looked embarrassing amongst the lovely flowers she received from others. It was difficult to see how to follow up my unanswered complaint and I had real concern about using you again.

The flowers were not delivered on time - did not arrive until Thursday 27th May. A card was left on Monday (24th) but Royal Mail sorting office was not open on Tuesday and Wednesday and the flowers were therefore not received until Thursday. They could have been left quite safely beside the porch if nobody was available to receive them at the time.

It is with regret that I can only provide a two star review for this company. The reason for this is quite simply the result of their chosen couriers failure to deliver the order at the specified time. I was expecting a delivery on a Saturday which never arrived and, since the courier doesn't work on a Sunday, the product is now expected on Monday late afternoon it's number 148 of 165 deliveries for the day!) I'd have thought that a late or missed delivery would be first on the list, not last!. On the plus side, the other flowers that I've purchased from this company have been delivered on time (Royal Mail) and have been extremely well packed. None of them have shown any sign of damage nor have they suffered any form of de-hydration during transit. So, to conclude, the flowers are very good, the chosen courier is a disgrace. PS. Still waiting for the delivery.

Arrived with the outer cardboard box saturated at the bottom corner and the flowers looking past their best. Didn't last particularly long. This could be a problem with the courier but is nevertheless disappointing. Flowers arrived from various companies and via various delivery methods at about the same time (a wife with a broken ankle) and this was the only one with a problem.

Disappointed with the flowers. No instructions to assist with upkeep. Not company fault but flowers had some damage on arrival due to mail delivery operative being unable to understand what 'this way up' means. Did arrive on the required day though

Thank you for giving me the order number. I had no idea if my order had gone through bar fact that that the money had been taken from my bank. My recipient is away so I have no knowledge if the bouquet was acceptable or on time. I did send a "contact us" email when I didn't receive an acknowledgement but it was not answered. However, I take your word or you wouldn't have asked me for a review!

I have to say that I was very dissapointed with the flowers.I paid over £30 for a lot of greenery and Golden Rod but flowers were few.It was the worst bunch in all my years of buying from you.I spent more because it was my wifes birthday and the picture on the web looked really good.THey also didn't last long.All in all an unhappy customer.

Flowers were fine but, oh dear, the card was most disappointing as part of the message on the front was missing. Can only rate you 2 star. Would have been 1 star if you had not offered to reimburse me the cost of the card.

Ordered the Golden Glory for daughters 65th on Sat. They arrived on Thursday 25th pm, which was ideal. However on Friday morning on getting up she discovered that the yellow roses were drooping and going brown. Roughly 12 hours. Being a loving daughter, she did not want to upset by letting me know they were dying in such a short time.. Knowing something was wring I got it out of her. I have since spoken to Nav, today, who very kindly, after speaking to Russell, agreed to replace the roses. They are being delivered tomorrow 30.3.21. Hoping they are in good condition. Thanks to Nav for her assistance in choosing the original bouquet and again for helping to to sort out the problem. Also thanks to Russell. Sincerely, Angie Beeston.
