Just had to use this breakdown service, it was truly appalling. It took 7.5 hours to be collected. It appeared that 2Gether breakdown insurance, sub out to drive-365, they sub out to Eggertons, who then sub out to Walls breakdown. I am in the process of trying to get my money back. KEEP WELL CLEAR!

On a motorcycle I had a flat tyre and when I called they could not help me, I asked them to forward me a number of a garage who could help and they sent me the number for a national tyre service who did not provide motorcycle tyres!

I was stuck on the busy A6 having put unleaded fuel into my diesel car (the pump nozzle was black instead of green), I had a 15 month old baby and a dog in the car. The call centre were unable to cross reference my car reg, my name or my post code with their details (my policy number was actually written on my phone) so I was unable to tell them it. I had to hang up, get the number, write it down and wait for them to ring me back. Once we'd gone through all that, I was then told my policy did not cover improper use of fuel. Great! Not much use paying for Breakdown cover when you're not covered for ....er ...breaking down.

Completely dismayed that I would be left stranded at the roadside when I had a blowout. The operator was rude and treats me like I was trying to steal from her from the second she asked for my details. Unfortunately this is very likely to result in me taking my business elsewhere.

I registered my brother for breakdown cover as he does not use a computer. I made it clear at the time that, though I was using my email address and my bank account that it was my brother who would be a member and in his car. I also asked for documents regarding the cover be sent to his address. My brother has received nothing, no membership documents, contact numbers or even a membership card. Although I was informed by telephone that documents would arrive, they have not. I would like someone to correct this and send documents soonest or contact me for more information. I am not holding my breath waiting for a reply but would appreciate one soonest. Regards James Thornberry. Members name David Thornberry.

Refused home start support because I carried out minor maintenance before call (topped up coolant). Wanted to charge me £100 for a call-out. It seems like 2gether will find any excuse to save money

left me high and dry. bought a policy. had a tyre blow out on the motorway. got recovered to a service station. the recovery guy was dis interested in getting my spare wheel on and tried to leave me there. 70 Miles from my home and another 100 miles from work . 2 gether said i wasn't covered if the spare wheel was inaccessible and that they had done their job. The story ends by me getting my spare wheel off myself and me getting it pumped up and the recovery guy being forced into putting it on my van. Overall disgusted with the service.

Broke down today and waited three hours on a recovery van,I'm glad I broke down where I did otherwise my granddaughter would have been in the camper with me which would have been even worse but it was bad enough and not acceptable to wait the length of time I did .I just hope I don't need to use your service again as you never know where your going to be ie: in the middle of nowhere ! What I would like to know is why you didn't send someone nearer (livingston for instance, even Edinburgh if their not available )but not someone from hillington who is over an hours drive away and then gets stuck in traffic !

I needed help after 3 years of paying them. They said they would charge £100! Don't bother with them, they will let you down!

So far my experience has not been good. I signed up online & waited over a week with no confirmation of my policy information. I had to then submit an online enquiry to find this information out & that's all I've had (an email with my details). Not a good impression so far.

2gether breakdown cover isnt worth the paper its written on! I phoned up in May 2015 with a reverse gear problem and was told by advisor on the phone that..and i quote.." the guys arnt proper mechanics so are only able to tow you to the nearest garage" so i said dont bother! The problem turned out to be a broken reverse gear which after getting back to Cornwall from Berkshire ( 280 miles) resulted in needing a new gearbox...so im afraid 2gether breakdown service is rubbish and what i want to know is CAN I GET A REFUND FOR PAYING FOR THIS RUBBISH??

I complained regarding an issue I had with you. I received a letter from you saying you were reviewing my complaint and be in touch within 14 days on my receipt of letter. That was in March. I'm still waiting despite emailing the person named as dealing with my complaint. Absolutely dismal service.

I would not recommend this company. When we phoned about a minor claim (the car would not start), every excuse was offered about why they could not come out and have a look at the car. I guess you get what you pay for - so it is worth forking out a few more pounds and going for a more for a reputable company who will provide a better quality service.

Initial price for cover was really good but when 4 months later I changed my 56 reg VW Golf for a 61 reg (virtually identical model) I was charge a whopping 107% of the original fee! The explanation for the charge was "we have no history of the reliability of the new car". The fact that my newer Golf is only just 3 years old and VW Golfs have a pretty good reliability record I find this nothing short of extortion and exploitation.
