“Nice flowers. Delivery at 7pm on Valentine's Day. That is far too late. And the driver just left them on the doorstep without knocking or ringing the bell.”

“Incredibly beautiful roses delivered for my wife on Valentine’s Day! She absolutely loved them! The roses look significantly better than ones I’ve ordered in the past from other retailers. They came very nicely arranged in a lovely bunch with AppleYard wrapping. 100% would recommend!!”

“Ordered Valentine’s Day flowers and was genuinely shocked by what arrived. The bouquet looked nothing like the photos on the website — the quality and quantity were far below what was advertised, more like discounted petrol station flowers than a premium arrangement. To make matters worse, the flowers started wilting in under 48 hours, which is completely unacceptable given the price. I am requesting a full refund. Store credit (aka ‘happiness guarantee’) is not an acceptable resolution.”

“My fiancée bought me flowers from this company as it was recommended by Santander. This is a SCAM. He was so disappointed to give them to me after seeing the photos on the website of the velvet bouquet vs what arrived. They are not even remotely similar. The photo on the website is a clearly an AI photo. Never use this company.”

“This company was recommended by my bank Santander. The delivery was not made and it was difficult to follow up either by chat or phone. Their systems don't seem to work at weekends and I had to wait till Monday. Finally I got through on Whatsapp and was told I could either have a replacement at the next delivery with £10 or a full refund. I opted for full refund. I believe the fault was the that of their couriers they used and the tracking system did not work either. I am dissappointed I did not get to see the quality of the flowers. I was disappointed that the order was lost in transit. I hope they will review their delivery status.”

“Well presented flowers which arrived in bud and about to open. They have since opened perfectly. The packaging was good as the couriers had managed to dent the box but it did its job and the flowers were undamaged.”

“Appleyard Flowers consistently delivers some of the most eye-catching and sophisticated arrangements I have ever seen, turning a simple bouquet into a genuine work of art that stays fresh for an incredibly long time. Every stem arrives in pristine condition, and unlike most florists where blooms fade within a week, these consistently remain vibrant and beautiful for over 2 weeks. I am also deeply impressed by their excellent customer service, which is always responsive and helpful, and the peace of mind provided by their price promise that ensures you receive premium luxury at a fair value. However, I am deducting one star due to the excessive use of plastic in the packaging; for a brand of this caliber, it is disappointing to see such a reliance on non-recyclable materials in an age where sustainable alternatives are so readily available. If they can modernize their wrapping to be more eco-friendly, this would easily be a flawless five-star service.”
