Our son took out a year's subscription for flowers to be delivered monthly to my wife. While most of the deliveries had been acceptable the latest (and last, 12/12) delivery was extremely poor and contained flowers that were withered or mouldy. We have received substandard deliveries before but have not complained because we did not wish our son to be informed that his generous gesture had been a disappointment. However, this latest and last delivery was so poor that we have decided to complain.

The flowers arrived jaded and didn’t last 48hrs. Very poor particularly for the prices charged. I sent them to my wife so at least I was able to see them, I wouldn’t have known if I’d sent elsewhere as a gift as a recipient unlikely to say they’re rubbish! Won’t use again.

I have tried four times to update my email address and password. I kept getting ‘invalid.’ You need to be more user friendly.

On Valentine’s Day, I received two bouquets from Apple yard London. 1 from my partner and 1 from my son. And what a disgrace they both arrived in, first bouquet but nothing like the pictures absolutely awful. What a disappointment for Valentines. Second bouquet was delivered close to 8 o’clock at night must’ve been the last on the truck because it was pretty bashed up when I opened it and both those bouquets look like they had a day or so lift in them. I did request a refund on both of them, but what a disappointing experience! What an awful of money on the ugliest flowers I’ve seen Photo below was pretty in pink more pretty shit and and clearly leftover Christmas accessories was used during the bouquet

Just terrible – AVOID!!! Ordered flowers for Valentine’s Day, and they were never delivered. Yodel claimed they were left in a “safe place,” which is simply not true, nothing was received. I had get a replacement from another florist. Customer service later emailed asking whether I wanted a store credit or a refund. I clearly requested a refund and then heard nothing back. At this point I’ve had to start a claim with my bank. This level of service is completely unacceptable. Plenty of better florists out there! I will never use Appleyard Flowers again. Be warned.

Ordered Valentine’s Day flowers and was genuinely shocked by what arrived. The bouquet looked nothing like the photos on the website — the quality and quantity were far below what was advertised, more like discounted petrol station flowers than a premium arrangement. To make matters worse, the flowers started wilting in under 48 hours, which is completely unacceptable given the price. I am requesting a full refund. Store credit (aka ‘happiness guarantee’) is not an acceptable resolution.

My fiancée bought me flowers from this company as it was recommended by Santander. This is a SCAM. He was so disappointed to give them to me after seeing the photos on the website of the velvet bouquet vs what arrived. They are not even remotely similar. The photo on the website is a clearly an AI photo. Never use this company.

This company was recommended by my bank Santander. The delivery was not made and it was difficult to follow up either by chat or phone. Their systems don't seem to work at weekends and I had to wait till Monday. Finally I got through on Whatsapp and was told I could either have a replacement at the next delivery with £10 or a full refund. I opted for full refund. I believe the fault was the that of their couriers they used and the tracking system did not work either. I am dissappointed I did not get to see the quality of the flowers. I was disappointed that the order was lost in transit. I hope they will review their delivery status.

ordered flowers from Appleyard, despite having a disappointing experience last year when they failed to include a card with a message for my partner. I ordered the flowers for Valentine’s Day a day in advance. When they arrived, it was raining, and the delivery driver they used was extremely unreliable; he left them in an unknown location, and I had to search for them myself. I have attached a picture. Furthermore, the condition of the flowers was horrendous. I contacted them via email to express my dissatisfaction, as this was far below what I expected. Since then, they have ignored my emails, only offering a £10 credit, despite the fact that the flowers were ruined, left outside in the rain, even though I had arranged delivery to my barbershop, which was open until 7 or 8 p.m. I am extremely disappointed and will not be using Appleyard again.

First of the delivery company they use is awful I ordered them to my work (barbershop) on the high street and that was clearly opened we was open till 7/8pm for some reason the driver decided to leave the box outside behind the shops on the high street even tho it was raining, after finding them the quality how the flowers was terrible I brought it up to the company via email and all they did was offer £10 credit to my account and have ignored me since, even had a issue last valentines when they forgot to put the card on for my partner but thought I’d give them another chance will not be using again

I had the worst experience ever in my life. I ordered flowers for valentine's day but they even not delivered my order. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Worst ever company in the world.

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my wife on Valentines day. It is now the day after Valentines day and they have not arrived. Though I received an email from Appleyards at 20.03 last night (14th) saying ' Your order should now be with the recipient' the Yodel app was saying (and is still saying) 'With Sender'. There appears to be no way of contacting Appleyards by phone. So I have not been able to resolve this. It is appalling service and I am quite upset and distressed

Valentine’s Day order with considerable supplement for delivery. Was due on tracking to be delivered by 9pm. Hive van with flowers seen going back to depot on tracking about 7, about 30 stops before my delivery. Customer service meant to be open to 8 but only got one message between the three channels for contacting them with no concrete help. Still no response Sunday morning. Will never use again

Ordered a velvet bouquet for my wife on valentines day, the picture looked great so i placed the order. What came was nothing like what was received, it looks like i bought a £2 bunch from a garage on a Sunday, infact they would be better. They are half dead and not the red velvet flowers as shown it is basically fraud. I contacted customer complaints and they stated "Having reviewed them, the flowers appear to be in acceptable condition, though they do look slightly thirsty" so they do nothing, and continue to tell me how to cut the stems down which i already had done.

1) ordered 50 red roses for Valentines Day in Jan. 2) notified they’re arriving following day 3) contact Appleyard immediately, arrange to redeliver on Livechat. Confirmed, ok 4) following day, 50 red roses arrived, vday surprise ruined a month prior 5) goodwill gesture 100 roses, no additional cost 6) changed address via email, confirmed by agent 7) agent updates just part of the address and not the postcode 8) day before vday, Yodel try and deliver to an address not expecting any delivery, I’m away. Notified delivery received, wild goose chase knocking on doors, occupant refused delivery, no contact from Yodel 9) now 100 red roses down, refunded initial £60 but then had to spend £120 to buy some elsewhere, no where near as many as 100. 10) goodwill gesture offered is store credit OR a free bouquet of flowers, for a store I honestly despise and can’t trust to get a single thing right. Imagine the stress of this 4:30pm Friday evening before valentines - SHAMBOLIC! It’s been that bad and the customer service is so poor that I’ll be pursuing this with Ombudsman. DO NOT USE IF IMPORTANT EVENT / TIMING. DO NOT USE IF YOU CARE ABOUT WHO YOU ARE GIFTING TO.

Thought I’d try Appleyard as website looked promising. Flowers described on website as ‘luxury bouquet of the finest red roses’. All the blooms are smaller than you’d get in your local supermarket for less than half the price, two of the roses measure same size as a two pence coin. Definitely not large headed. Zero quality control. Zero value for money. They couldn’t look more different to the nice glossed photo on the website. Very disappointing and will not be using this website ever again. Absolute joke

Hi team, I would like to cancel my order. The flowers were supposed to arrive today as indicated in my request. The recipient's birthday is today and she was at home. Very unfortunate that my surprise was ruined because of lack of service and not being able to make a simple delivery. Unfortunately the "happiness was not guaranteed" this time. :) Anyway, please refund my money and good luck with your business.
