I ordered flowers from Appleyard for our 22nd anniversary and was so impressed with both the quality and service. The bouquet was stunning, the flowers arrived fresh and in perfect condition, and delivery was right on time. My wife was over the moon, which made the day even more special. Based on this experience, I can definitely recommend Appleyard and will be ordering again in the future.

My daughter sent me some flowers for my birthday, they arrived in very poor condition and were all dead within a day, I was very disappointed as she is a single parent, I have not told her, but contact appleyard but had no response as yet. Order no 600622104

On 14th March a box of flowers which was ordered by my grand daughter was just left in the foyer downstairs upside down. The hairdresser brought the box upto me. On opening the box most of the stems were out of the sachet but there was too.much greenery. The roses looked half dead also the lilies I cut the stems and left them in water I rose actually opened and 1 bud of a lily.I was.so disgusted to think that my granddaughter had spent money on the quality of your flowers My daughter bought me 3 stems of lilies from M/S THEY LASTED 10 DAYS I purchased 4 stems from Asda for under £8 which lasted me for 9 days.the delivery was made by yodel again another disappointing result which gives myself my daughter and her daughter no faith in using your company ever again. I rang and sent an Email which failed.I think the decent thing to do is to reimburse my granddaughter Beth McCullen.

I have bought flowers from Appleyard before but this time, i was so disappointed. I got an email on Wednesday at 8pm saying they had been dispatched. They were delivered by Yodel at 6:25pm on Thursday. The box was delivered ripped open, the flowers were wilting and looked in bad condition. I followed the directions on the how to care for your flowers email from Appleyard. 24 hours later and they were even worse, wilted, dead. I don’t know if it was poor handling by Yodel or the lack of water for 24 hours (the sponge thing they were wrapped in was drying out), or maybe a combination of both?

Received my 2nd bunch of flowers that my brother had bought for my birthday (a 12 month subscription) they were Lillies and Roses. I could tell right away that the lillies had been cut way too early and would never open and I have been proved right. I ended up trying to prize them open myself to give them a helping hand but ofcourse this is not what one should do. The outside roses petals were brown. My brother tried to contact using the happiness guarantee section to no avail. I only hope my next bunch will be in a much better way otherwise he has wasted a lovely gesture.

First time I’ve used this company and I am delighted. A birthday gift which is reportedly perfect. My only slight negative is they arrived 3 days before the delivery date I selected. Not a problem on this occasion but would have been on other occasions

Terrible experience over the last few months. Ordered a bunch of flowers for Valentine’s Day which were not cheap and they came wilting. They apologised and sent me credit for this issue and I then went to use the credit on another bunch for my wife’s birthday. These flowers didn’t even turn up, got a message from the delivery company saying they were out for delivery in the morning and then within an hour this changed to order unsuccessful and made it seem that they couldn’t deliver as it was my fault, which was not the case as I had checked on the cameras and they later confirmed that the flowers didn’t even make it on the can for delivery. Spoke to the delivery company and they fobbed me off and told me they are trying to rectify the issue and made it seem like the were doing everything they could, all for them to cancel the complete delivery soon after. Have not heard from the delivery company or Appleyard on this matter. I’m someone who spends a lot on flowers every year for occasions and I have to say there are definitely better companies out there, that deliver on time and have better quality flowers. Please consider before making any orders with themselves as this is what these review are for, hope this helps.
