Good product and good price with selectable delivery, so pleased there. During check out I got a visual screen saying order complete, but no correspondence after that. On the delivery day I prompted via WhatsApp (answered within an hour) and suddenly the confirmation email and delivery details arrived. If that hadn't glitched it would be 5 stars, but as it was a birthday present it was mildly worrying. The orchid itself is beautiful.

I would appreciate having a wider selection of gifts for newborn babies, especially options that include a soft toy.

I have bought flowers from Appleyard before but this time, i was so disappointed. I got an email on Wednesday at 8pm saying they had been dispatched. They were delivered by Yodel at 6:25pm on Thursday. The box was delivered ripped open, the flowers were wilting and looked in bad condition. I followed the directions on the how to care for your flowers email from Appleyard. 24 hours later and they were even worse, wilted, dead. I don’t know if it was poor handling by Yodel or the lack of water for 24 hours (the sponge thing they were wrapped in was drying out), or maybe a combination of both? Edited to add: Appleyard emailed me today to ask me to revise my above negative review and leave a positive review because they gave me credit. Although the matter was dealt with satisfactorily and the second flowers were good, the first flowers were disappointing and it wouldn’t be ethical for to remove my initial review entirely as it would be a false reflection of what happened. Instead, i will state that the flowers i bought with the credit to replace the first disappointing flowers were great and of much better quality, thank you. I decided to pay the extra on the delivery of the second flowers, so that they would get delivered before lunchtime, hoping they wouldn’t dry out so much by then, i think that also helped.

Edit: I have since been contacted and have been offered a replacement bouquet. I contacted you on Wednesday 18th of March via the 100% Happiness scheme page. Since then, apart from being added to a newsletter I have received nothing. And when I tried to log it again, I can’t because the date of delivery is more than 7 days ago. The photos I have tried to attach were taken on the 18th of March. The flowers were delivered on 13th of March. However they won’t upload, the cynic in me thinks this is on purpose. I have clicked contact is via email and page not found. (For Valentine’s Day my husband had flowers delivered from a different company and they were still going strong 2.5 weeks later)

The flowers were beautiful when they arrived, I had two arrangements from my two children. I did what the instructions said, two days later the roses on both arrangements started to look very sad, and today I had to get rid of a few. Not happy knowing how expensive they are!

I had an enormous 'Apple yard' bouquet delivered on Mother's Day from my son in America. Stunning ! But since all the sprays of small, pink roses & some of the greenery have drooped and are dying. I took time following the care advice to the T, but to no avail!

Having decided to try as a first time customer, underwhelmed by the flowers delivered and the customer service which followed in pursuit of a refund. Website imagery can look fantastic, but on my experience, the delivered goods did not meet the expectations. Excellent marketing but not followed through with the overall experience and owning the messages of customer promise on the website.

I ordered the Spring Narcissi Planter. It arrived badly packed, only being wrapped in a single layer of bubble wrap. The rest of the box had no extra packing to stop the contents moving around during transportation. Consequently the plants very a bit battered and bruised when received and most of the moss and a lot of dirt had fallen out. Luckily I managed to re-plant the bulbs and now they are growing well.

Ordering was very straight forward, prompt and easy. Cons. Delivery with yodel needs improving. Not happy £80 worth of flowers could have been left on door step.

Nice flowers. Delivery at 7pm on Valentine's Day. That is far too late. And the driver just left them on the doorstep without knocking or ringing the bell.

I bought flowers for my friend and it was supposed to be a surprise, but the courier just left them on the porch without even trying to ring the flat bell. I’m so disappointed with the service.

Roses arrived on time - but leaves were already dry and falling off. After a few days the flowers were very sad and disappointing. Not the quality I expected - we have used Appleyard many times but will now look elsewhere.

Received the flowers for mothers day. The box was impressive but the flowers not so. A sparse bunch. Lots of greenery more so than flowers. 2 single roses are still going and look beautiful, however the 2 singles with multiple rose buds on each never opened and were dead and wilted within 3 days. Such a shame. Not sure what cost was but i would say probably not worth the money. My supermarket flowers last me weeks!!!

The flowers were beautiful and arrived on time. However, the bunch seemed small for the price and they didn’t even last a week!

I am a recipient of Appleyard Flowers on 31/3/25. However this morning 2/4/25 I woke to find dead peach spray roses!! Aghast from a sad recipient of Mother’s Day flowers although they came a day late. All instructions followed and happiness reigns with rest of bouquet. Please note previous deliveries were healthy living flowers for a good week plus with repeated water refreshments! Just wanted to share with Appleyard Flowers and not go through my daughter who would be upset to know this especially as she’s purchased a three-month subscription! Lola I’ve tried downloading a photo of dead roses but your system doesn’t allow me too!

The flowers were excellent however, I’m unsure if I would use Appleyard again unless I can figure out how to have fewer emails. Before the flowers arrived there were so many emails it was only a matter of time before the recipient saw one come through and the surprise was spoiled.

Ordered flowers for mother's day with delivery on Saturday. Unfortunately the delivery wasn't made until Monday and the flowers were past their best. I'm not sure where the fault lies for the original issue but Appleyard sent a replacement which arrived on Tuesday and refunded 50% of the order value. Unfortunately mother's day was missed but Appleyard did try to put it right.

Flowers looked very lovely for first three days and even after cutting stems and changing water the roses then began to droop.
