Huge mistake going with this company. I was expecting the driver to deliver my items that same day (van was loaded by 11.30am) however, I found out on the day he was thinking about driving the next morning because he had 4 hours sleep in days. What transpired was that overnight, they transferred all of my items to another van & a different driver delivered the next day. I did not know about this nor agree to it & strangely, itā€™s a breach of their own T&Cā€™s which state you have to be present when they load / unload items etc because obviously the guys are more careful if youā€™re there! Items were put into a storage unit & Iā€™ve since discovered that they have completely broken the electrical function of my electric reclining sofas & cracked the corner of a TV. Any van have said that because itā€™s beyond the 7 day window, they are not interested in investigating this even though I explained it went into a storage unit and came out 2 weeks later. The damage will cost me hundreds & not to mention the additional van I had to hire to take the rest of my stuff as they sent a smaller van to the job which could not fit everything. I am now pursuing this matter via the legal route and advise anyone to stay away from this company. Book directly with the van driver so you know who youā€™re getting & what type of service!

This company takes over 40% of the money up front for moves within the UK. (Workers get paid ten days after Job is completed). After operating expenses, it is no surprise when drivers are working WELL BELOW the minimum wage, with no benefits or responsibilities from this company which switches from being a transport company to an online tech company for its own convenience. The government needs to take a look at the gig labour laws here as they did with Uber and Pimlico.

the drivers turned up, immediately complained about access even though parking was blocked off, then immediately complained about sizes of boxes- these had been measured whilst on the phone to a member of your team, so I am confident they were accurate During the first hour, the 2 drivers moved 2 pieces of furniture and a few boxes, whilst complaining about the fact some of the boxes had books in and were heavy. These boxes are medium in size, used by royal mail for book and paper shipments, and not over 20 kg. They called any van, who called me- I said that the inventory had been done thoroughly, they had not measured or assessed any boxes, nor weighed any. The drivers then complained that I had to help load unless I wanted them to just throw stuff onto the van and damage it I then became removal staff number 3, having to cancel meetings and appointments as I was meant to be working from home whilst they had 2 hours to clear 2 rooms. Every heavy item was moved by myself, with no assistance- to be clear, I am 42 year old male, 19 stone, not been to the gym in 10 years, with torn muscles in my shoulder. But if I wanted my property moved, I had to do it myself. One stood on the van throughout putting blankets on things, but no organisation taking place. The other carried lighter items or assisted me with larger furniture. Once everything was loaded, finally on time, the one who had made all the complaints then stood on the van ammended the inventory with his assessment of what was large and what was not, asked if I agreed and I responded "whatever" not knowing what was coming... I then had an automated messag demand Ā£150 . I was then told that my items would not be moved unless this was paid. Of course, at this stage, all my property is locked in the back of their van and they are sat in the cab just telling me to pay it. Tldr they haven't worked, have complained, then held my property hostage and demanded money to move it. I am utterly disgusted with any vans service- having spent 90 minutes measuring items for inventory, without weight EVER being mentioned , and being assured I would not be held hostage, at this stage all I can see is a company with a good phone center who then force customer to spend more and more money when they have no options available.

First of all take pictures of every item and have your receipts handy to mitigate any claims for damages!!! I have experienced out and right lies from this delivery outfit..!!!! Protected with a blanket?? A mattress whilst it was coming down the stairs? Do me a favour... Without it you are on a loser from the off!!!!!! What a hopeless case this lot are. Read on.. Two blokes requested for house move, 2 turned up, 1 might as well have not been there. The ā€˜listā€™ was strictly adhered to as expected but I ended up doing the work of the other lad as he wasn't able execute any manual handling task at all. Having kept being called back to take place of the non descript I purposely walked off and hid in the garage so I didnā€™t have to help them. You pay for a service and end up doing it yourself. Not impressed. Unless you state and know exactly what you have to be moved right down to the last crumb expect to be disappointed and left in a house half full of boxes while the van drives off down the road half empty leaving you in the lurch. For the people at anyvan customer service, I have no words... when calling up to discuss my damaged property (the items I didnā€™t handle) and the fact I was repeatedly called to help I was told it was my fault for helping. I wasnā€™t ā€œhelpingā€ I was requested to. Bloody joke just about sums the whole job up.

There should be an option for zero star in reviews because this company does not deserve any stars at all. We paid them for a house move and they never turned up! When we called initially on the moving day, they said that their movers accepted the job "by accident" one week to the date. How does one accept a job by accident? They later said that they'll be at ours 3hrs late. 3hrs later, we called and they said that "the driver is no longer coming today". JUST LIKE THAT! After putting my wife, our 4-month-old & 23-month-old kids and myself through untold stress and hardship as we were fully packed waiting to move; having stopped heating, gas & electric and internet for that property. Stay far away from these people if you care about your mental health.

They took a booking for a job they could never had fulfilled. I am not a car expert. When I requested the job I told them that I had a non-operational hybrid car (due to water damage/flooding). As the car's electrical system was fried, the electric brake could not be released. There was a manual overide, but it only worked for the front wheels. After being unable to load the car I spoke to a number of other garages and they knew this would be an issue immediately. Same applied to the driver of the pick up truck driver who knew that we would not be able to overide the electric brakes. Any Van have refused any compensation or refund, despite the service not being started or completed. Which is frustrating as it seems anyone with any car knowledge would have known that the job was never possible.

AnyVan is not liable for any property damageā€¦ Did you know that Anyvan do not cover damage or breakages? Nor did we, we found this out after the removal men left a gouge in our new oak flooring, we were advised that ā€œAnyVan act as an agent and mediate the claim between yourself and the Transport Providers in a view to reaching a resolution. We are unable to enforce this should they deny any liability and as previously mentioned AnyVan is not liable for property damage.ā€ 5/10/22 booking number 7594334.

Paid for a removal to be done on 3/10/22. Turned up late with no apology. 2 men turned up, the one in charge said he didnā€™t want to lift my expensive cabinet as it would hurt his back, so dragged it across the floor, damaging the cabinet & the floor! They also snapped a very established and expensive plant in two, when I confronted them, they denied it, even though Iā€™d watched them do it! That also refused to take the furniture in my house when we got to my destination & dumped it in the hall way. They became abusive and very rude. When I complained to Anyvan they sided with the delivery men and claimed I made them feel uncomfortable. Anyvan were disgusting and rude thereafter. I would never use them again and would not recommend them to anyone. You have no one to claim against as they outsource the business. Do not use them!!!!

The move was on 3rd October 2022. It was an extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. The 2 men that helped me move were impolite and didn't even turn up in a professional manner. One of the men turned up just in casual clothes listening to music, they did not introduce themselves and were very standoffish. The other man, who i am assuming was in charge, made me feel extremely uncomfortable and i have not a clue why. They came completely unprepared. As a military family we have had lots of professional moves so knew what to expect and honestly i have no idea what Ā£520 paid for! There was nothing to protect items, i had asked for 5 large boxes and 5 small boxes that never materialised and then was charged extra for all of the stuff that was supposed to go into those boxes. I was also charged extra just for a small tv and a pram. However i was not informed of these extra charges until all of my belongings had been put in the van therefore i didn't have a choice but to accept the extra charges instead of moving the items myself, which i would of preferred instead of paying even more money. I was on my own during the move and i feel like i was completely taken advantage of because as i woman i wouldnt feel comfortable starting conflict with two men on my own which i think they used as an advantage. The lack of professionalism led me to check the details of the van being used. Whilst the storage unit attached to the van was taxed, the van itself was not taxed (images have been attached) which i am certain is not allowed or legal when working for a removals company. I feel completely taken advantage of and it's taken me a few days to even get my head round it. As we are used moving i thought paying Ā£450 was a little on the high side anyway, especially because i don't have much stuff. They arrived at 9.30 and the job was completed at 12.30, this means the entire job was around 4 hours so cost Ā£130 per hour! Every single removal company i have compared that to charge Ā£60 per house plus some additional charges for furniture they have to take extra care with. The men had absolutely no care for my belongings and kept bashing into things whilst loading the van, which again i didn't challenge because i was on my own and didnt feel comfortable to do so. I do feel like maybe they would care more if they worked for a company that cared about it's employees. I found reviews from previous employees comparing it to modern day slavery. I can't imagine the men who did my move are being paid the full Ā£520. The final and worst part of the whole experience was damage to a piece of furniture, which is my most expensive piece of furniture. This isnt just a bit of paint it has taken a chunk out of the corner of the wood out of a piece of furniture which cost Ā£500 on sale. I would like to be compensated for the move itself, obviously i don't wish the men themselves loose money they made for the loading and driving but Ā£130 per hour is very very steep! And i want to be compensated for the unit which has been damaged. This email has been forwarded to all relevant departments and reviews left on google and trust pilot.

This is genuinely the worst service I've ever recieved from a company. 1. Anyvan initially charged me 4 times for a single ammendment to my order, which should have cost 24 pounds - they charged me 96 pounds, and took 4 days to refund this. 2. The driver then arrived 40 minutes late 3. The driver then refused to take some of the items, dishoneslty claiming that there was more than listed on the inventory. As my tenancy expired on that day, I had to take an Uber with the rest of the goods, costing me 230 pounds 4. Upon unpacking the goods at the destination, I discovered that the driver had dropped something on a PC screen, breaking it, which was worth a further 200 pounds. They have failed to pay a single penny in compensation. I will be taking them to SCC to recover my costs. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. The driver I had was called Ben , his phone number was 07740 242751.

I would seriously advise you NOT (would underline, bold and put in italics if I could) to use this lot. They were awful. Seriously, one of the worst experiences I have ever had dealing with any organisation, business or company. DO NOT make the same mistake as I did with their Trustpilot score. It's inflated with "invited" reviews. Wish I had paid more attention. Read the bad reviews and you will see a definite pattern of incompetence, awful customer care, tardiness and daylight robbery. Also, DO NOT believe their responses to bad reviews on here. THEY DON'T CARE. Once you have paid them, that's it. They know moving is a stressful experience and take advantage of the situation! Please please don't use them. I was so stressed and upset by my experience and I am normally an incredibly relaxed easy going person. In fact, I never write reviews, but thought it was a moral duty to warn people about this lot. Moving home is stressful and can be an emotional experience. This lot only add to that stress and anxiety. They turned up late twice. The first time they only sent one person to do a home move! This was after I had explained during the booking process that there was furniture like beds etc. to move. The sole mover arrived late on Sunday, took one look at what was to be moved and left!! Spent 2 hrs trying to get hold of their Customer Service team. Decided to change tactic and call their Sales team. Surprise Surprise, they picked up right away! They blamed me for not telling them it was a two man job even though I had told them I was moving furniture like beds and sofas. They refused to give me a refund! I had no choice but to rebook, which was another cost - by this stage I was totally packed, no internet etc. and I was moving out of rented accommodation that needed to be vacated immediately because my landlord was completing the sale of the property the next day. I had no time to find another company. The next day, the second team arrived. This time two of them, but once again late! Then when they got to my new home - an apartment block, they complained my apartment was too far from the van, which was parked directly next to my apartment building. They couldn't have parked any closer and my apartment building has multiple entrances and lifts!! The concierge suggested the best spot and route to my apartment. It was a few minutes walk from the van to my apartment. There were some fire safety doors to navigate, but that surely is nothing new! Subsequently charged me an additional amount to unpack my things. Basically held me at ransom! At this stage I was fuming. I was promised a call back and a potential refund. Its been two weeks and no one has called. The person was Andy from their Day team. Wouldn't give me his second name. When you add up all my costs, including having to pay rent for an additional night at my previous place because of the debacle of sending one person to move furniture, I was out of pocket by nearly Ā£750. If you want peace of mind during a home move and don't want to get ripped off by a completely unprofessional outfit, I suggest you hire someone else.

I used anyvan for a recent house move, where my partner and I were moving in together, so two collections with delivery to one address. I went through all of the details online and filled in everything we have in both properties. I was moving from a two bed house and my partner from a two bed flat. I booked the collection to be between 8 and 9 to give three to four hours to empty both properties as we needed to be out by midday on both. I also booked the full premium pack and unpack service to make the process as stress free as possible. About a week before the move, I was contacted by an anyvan representative to go through everythng for the move. After speaking to him, he advised that I had booked too early as they only have a 2hr waiting time and that he would reschedule for 10. He also said that Iā€™d allowed too much by way of boxes etc and that all I would need was 20 medium boxes for my move and 15 for my partners. I felt that this was wrong and expressed my concerns, however I donā€™t move house for a living so accepted Anyvans advice. A day before we both moved, I got a call from my driver saying that he felt 10 was too late and he should come at 8, I obviously agreed so he arrived then. My move was going smoothly until he said that I only had half the number of boxes I would need and I had to pay him on the spot or they wouldnā€™t move any more stuff! He also said that some larger bagged items (I have a couple of paddle boards, guitars etc) could not go on the van as they did not fit into the box and were extras that would cost Ā£170! In the meantime, my partners move had not started. I explained in the phone call previously that we both need to be out of our properties by 12, but when her van turned up after 10:30, they said that she would not be out before 3! They had also not bought any packaging materials, so my partner had to go out, buy her own and then pack up all of her delicates herself and move them in her / her parents cars. She finally cleared the property after 14:00. When we arrived at the new house, the ā€˜full unpacking serviceā€™ was nothing of the sort, it simply means dropping the boxes somewhere in the house. I have spent too many hours holding for anyvan to try to sort this out now, both on the day and subsequently, that the only course of action available to me is to make sure that others are aware of how poor the service is. Had I have done my own packing, I could have done it at my leisure, but by choosing the full sevice to reduce stress, they achieved the exact opposite! The day was incredibly difficult for my partner and her family and unneccesarily costly for me. I cannot recommend that you use anyvan under any circumstances.

Excellent salesman (Akay) making you feel like everything is under control. ViaVan is like Uber for movers, they sell you a service which is then outsourced. The Via Van salesman hugely underestimated the task, and it fell onto the poor movers to make it happen. Kuddos to them, they were lovely and did their absolute best packing and moving a 2 bed flat with only 2 of them for 8h until more employees could join them to finish off and reassemble in the new house. Akay from ViaVan was adamant, we were moving so close, a day would suffice (I literally challenged this 3 times). The poor movers did a rushed job to get it done (nothing broken) while keeping a positive attitude, even supporting us through the stress of exchange/completion happening on the same day. They left our new home after 10pm with barely a break. We had to pay extra for more boxes as Akay didn't factoring in enough (again despite me saying cupboards are full). That's a hefty Ā£290 extra ! Worse of all, ViaVan clearly must keep a hefty commission and they still screw everyone over in the process. Worth noting that Akay, the nice salesman stopped answering emails the moment it went South. They also originally cancelled my booking with 2 days to go, the bank had declined the original transaction, I authorised it then let Akay know so they could take it again. They just cancelled and in the end I had to call them to sort it. Avoid, you don't need this extra stress.

Do not use this company! Their service is absolutely AWFUL. The drivers were rude and aggressive. My husband ended up taking about 1/2 the things they were meant to transport. We ending up packing and unpacking everything despite paying for the gold service. Their phone customer service is terrible - we spent about 3 1/2 hours on hold to Anyvan on the day of the move trying to get them to help. Every person we spoke to told us something different but nobody was willing to help. The movers broke 2 valuable items which we have been told to claim on insurance but from the reviews it sounds like that is a scam too. The move was last Wednesday and until today...Monday we have not had any response from Anyvan despite complaining every day. Finally got a response today saying there is nothing they can do and are not willing to provide any discount or refund. DO NOT use the company they are AWFUL!

Terrible customer service, once they got your money they are not interested. The tracker doesn't work and was showing the drivers arriving at 6pm for my move which was perfect but they turned up much earlier and I ended up paying Ā£96 extra. I wanted them to deliver next day but also said I don't mind them delivering on the same day if that suited them as I would be in the area anyway. Confusion with the booking resulting in 2.5 hours trying to sort that out 3 days before. They will quote you a price but expect to pay much more on the day. When you call the call centre you get robotic responses from staff.
