I think they are scammers. Anyvan just changed my task, my task of moving piano and small item from living and moving 50sqf storage things were changed into "3 items", offer accepted attempted to increase, suddenly I got cancellation, still no deposit refund. I feel this is a scam. Do not hire via them!

Please please please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY unless you are prepared to lose a lot of your money and gain a great deal of stress and pain. I contacted them because I needed a removal company. The agent was very persuasive and after I sent him a video of the content to be removed he sent me an estimate of £1254 which seemed reasonable. When the movers arrived one did not speak English at all and the other had probably a vocabulary of no more than 20 English words. By gestures they indicated that they were not going to transport more than half of my flat’s content. When I tried to contact Anyvan customer service this wasn’t possible and I was only able to approach it through the movers phone. I had to accept their request to pay a further £526 to complete my removal. When the second set of movers arrived two hours later they had no boxes (which were clearly indicated in the contract). I had to frantically go to the nearest DIY store to buy boxes which cost me an additional £200. Once both set of mover’s vans were full they didn’t carry out any more work. My flat had still an enormous quantity of items left including the whole kitchen which had not been touched. This can be seen here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCrhtwAaC6Y I finished packing on my own at 3am the next day The contract was sent to me after I paid for the service and by paying alone you accept the terms of the contract (that you were still not able to read). On section 2.4 of the contract they mention “partners” referring to the outsourced underpaid staff that they use. Please consult this site to check some of Anyvan’s actions https://the.organise.network/campaigns/network-fair-pay-for-drivers-doing-your-work-d20ec923ecc31a41. In order to escape any liability for themselves In this section they clearly indicate that they will accept no liability for anything that their “partners” will do. Anyvan’s CEO is Angus Elphinstone, His details can be found here https://contactout.com/Angus-Elphinstone-418083 I have reported him as the director of Anyvan to the police fraud department https://www.met.police.uk/ro/report/fo/v1/fraud/ I would encourage all of you who have been defrauded by Anyvan to report it on this site. If there are enough complaints they may very well be motivated to act.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received. I paid £200 to move a small number goods from Manchester to Liverpool. The driver turned up late. He refused to take some of my goods even though there was plenty of room in the van. He did the bare minimum throughout and was extremely rude to me. He just put my goods on the pavement. He did not help me move things into my flat. I had to do it on my own and eventually got a kind neighbour to help me. I am very angry about the way I was treated and would like a refund as soon as possible.

Terrible. Damaged my new mattress by getting black marks across it by lying it on their van floor with no blankets! Damage my Bramdean new fridge freezer by lying it down! Forgot to remove a single bed and couldn't return, so I had to pay someone else to move it. Horrendous service.

Definitely avoid. They are much more expensive then other companies and then try to rip you off by charging you with hidden fee such as 20m rule. Apperently, if the distance between flat door and the van is more then 20m they will charge you 10% per 10m. Definitely avoid, not worth of your time and money

The most appalling service of any company, Paid for a row day move so not to be totally stressed as I have a disabled husband. They never turned up and only when I phoned did they say there was a problem. Never arrived the second day they sent a replacement firm to move us. Lost two items and accept no responsibility. . Just the most dreadful experience . No satisfaction despite many emails. Use this company at your own peril. Needs to be closed down

After paying a considerable amount of money and having AnyVan confirming a time slot by text message the driver drove off and didn’t complete the job. Customer services were absolutely not helpful and they got my money without doing the job in total £277 pounds and plus I had to incur in extra costs to do the job myself. Their website and text messages are deceiving and when things go wrong they just “steal” your money. You are better off to work with a local family service or rent a can yourself. DO NOT USE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO GET YOUR MONEY STOLEN and get stuck.

I had book a slot for collection of 1 bed flat for 1pm to 4pm, which was delayed and driver arrived more than two hours later than the time arranged at 6:14pm. For the delivery the driver should have arrived at the drop off at 6pm, but he arrived at 8:17pm instead. At the collection, the van supplied was miscalculated at not all of my items of furniture fit, even if there were on the check list that I had provided. Van driver was quite unprofessional and wanted to cut corners. At drop off, he didn’t help at all to take items to the first floor as indicated in the checklist and would just drop stuff in the front garden and kept complaining about being 9pm already (when the delay was not my fault).

I never confirmed a date with them, they sent a van on what I thought was a provisional date have taken the money and are refusing a refund. Pushed from polar to post and guess what computer say no! I have now booked to see a solicitor and intend to see it through in court if need be. My ref is AV8025254 if the company would care to put an end to this misery by refunding our money

Would give half a star if possible. Horrendous service, poor tracking and incompetent driver. 8 hours late and no offer of a refund despite paying extra for a specific time slot. Messed me about from minute one. Would not recommend. Steer well clear, worth spending more to move with a more reputable form.

AnyVan refused to deliver our fish tank on the basis that the dimensions given were 'incorrect', even though I literally measured them the day before. They did not provide a refund at all (I had to beg them to provide a refund for the extra money we paid for a specific timeslot, as they were very delayed). So, we'll be taking them to a small claims court now. Please avoid all this stress and AVOID - Very poor company with customer service skills, and removals drivers who are underprepared, incompetent and will not deliver your item and waste your time/money!

Anyvan are a scam, do not trust their sales team. They provided the worst removal service I could have imagined. To anyone looking to use Anyvan, be careful as you will be lied to, let down and then intimated into paying more money for a dreadful service as the removal men refuse to leave your house. Sadly, a number of our items were damaged too. But don't expect Anyvan customer services to be of any help. Once they have your money, you will get no help from them. Anyvan are a disgrace of a company.

18/09/2023 Today, I was contacted from Anyvan to cancel the house moving service I have arranged and paid for on 22/09/2023. That's just a few days away and their reason is that the quote they gave me is wrong and asked me to pay over £400 more if I want to keep this service. First of all, the quote and discount have been applied and given to me by the staff via live chat. The staff who called Shaun (refused to give me his full name) tried to frame it as my fault as I did the quote online and the quote is not accurate up there. Indeed that's not my wrong and actually it is a quote from the staff directly so if that is inaccurate , the fault is theirs because of the human mistake. I have the chat history for your scrutiny. I don't see any reasons why I have to endure this suffering. Honestly, you cannot just cancel on someone ,especially moving is a big job to do and I never agree with it in the phone call. I demanded to speak to a senior manager as I see we are not going anywhere as they are not trying to be reasonable. Then Shaun claimed he is the one. So the phone call ended with he is insisting to cancel and refund me without my approval. I demand to have my arranged service back with the same quote and amount to pay.

Was told if I booked on same day as I had received my quotation would secure quotation price of £520 due to their 'live pricing' policy, fair enough..... my parents were paying, so I was quoted by Rauo at 11:58am. My mother rang and put card details to secure the booking at 13:11 THE SAME DAY! When she had her confirmation email through Anyvan had increased the charge to £785! They say this is to 'live pricing' but also tell you when delivering quotation that your price will freeze if you contact on the same day as quotation is booked, which is clearly absolute rubbish. Customer service agent when I rang to query this and ask for the service at the price that was quoted, was very rude and unbothered. Would do nothing to see if he could do anything to help with pricing, and was very arrogant on the telephone. I ended up completely cancelling the booking. Be careful..... Would definetly not recommend this company.

Anyvan are appalling. Having damaged all of our furniture, the walls of the house we moved into and extorting cash from us to take the items we had paid to have removed, they returned an email with the following, quoted verbatim : As AnyVan is not in a regulated industry, nor are we a member of any trade organisations, it means we do not fall under the jurisdiction of any ombudsman or Alternative Dispute Resolution Scheme (ADR). Basically they are claiming there is no resolution process and they sold us a sham insurance policy that they have no intention of honouring. If you used anyvan, and you paid on credit card, I suggest going through section 75 through your issuer or charging back the costs of you can. Avoid, avoid, avoid!

The removals team they supplied were incompetent and the vehicle they supplied inadequate. They damaged almost every piece of furniture, ranging from large scratches, holes you can put your fist through to doors torn from cabinets. They caused over £2000 of damage and offered £76 in compensation. You'd be better off sticking a match to your existing furniture and buy it all again new.
