“One of the worst customer-service experiences I have ever had. AnyVan confirmed a collection window of 12:09pm to 3:09pm. My mother, who is in her late 80s, travelled specially to my property to be there during that time. However, the driver arrived at approximately 10:30am and left without collecting anything. No collection or delivery took place, yet AnyVan marked the booking as completed. One agent initially acknowledged that the driver was early, but the company later contradicted this and claimed that he had arrived within the agreed window. Customer service refused to escalate my complaint and then demanded another £57 to rearrange the service they had failed to provide. I wasted hours dealing with this while abroad, and my elderly mother and the seller were seriously inconvenienced. The service was disorganised, dismissive and completely at odds with the impressive claims on AnyVan’s website. Booking AV 9572160. I am still awaiting a proper resolution.”

“Absolutely furious, got a quote on a move Very happy accepted it Removal men arrived after about an hour they informed me the walk to there van was 60 metres the company only give 20 metres allowance in the quote and there were some steps to go down that also was not allowed. They wanted to charge me an extra £90. The men stopped work, we agreed on £80 they were then told continue. Obviously if I didn’t pay the extra They wouldn’t complete the job why give a quote if you don’t t honour it . Steer clear of this company they are not honest”

“I booked to have my motorcycle professionally collected and delivered, Only reason booking with them was due to the glossy bike specialist literature, PLEASE BE ADVISED THIS IS FALSE, your bike will arrive not by any specialist equipment or staff it will arrive in a furniture removals van full off beds, tables, etc, etc. I complained I had paid a premium price for my motorcycle over £100 more due to what there marketing literature was informing me, got offered £15 voucher for future bookings, this I rejected and sent a very concise email to quality and resolutions I got no reply but sent a whatsapp message to Anyvan then was informed that it can take 5 to 7 days, waited over 9 days no correspondence, totally ignored, Just to make prospective customers if they think their motorcycle will be collected and delivered professionally they are being 100% misled, also my motorcycle was delivered 24 hours late, I had elderly relatives who are unable to look after themselves and with being late had to arrange care for them. Luckily my motorcycle was delivered without any damage. But please use another company to transport your motorcycle, Would have given no stars but doesnt show zero.”

“I honestly wonder how the van drivers working with AnyVan feel about the way jobs are priced. In my experience, AnyVan charges customers a substantial amount while offering van owners very little for carrying out the actual work. I was once offered a 2-man job covering 9 different locations for just £198. I rejected the job because the payment simply wasn’t reasonable for the amount of work involved. I was then warned that I could be removed from the platform if I continued rejecting jobs. As a van owner, I believe drivers deserve to be paid fairly for their time, fuel, vehicle costs and hard work. My advice to customers is to consider using local removal and van businesses instead. You can often get a more personal service, communicate directly with the person doing the job, and potentially get a much better price. Based on my experience, I personally wouldn’t recommend AnyVan to other van owners.”

“Changed my time window from 0700-1300 to 0800-1800 and could not be changed back. Didn't even arrive on time (1830 arrival) and then delivered my goods 12:30 AM - IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. While I paid for the driver to move the boxes up to the 1st floor, the driver just refused, dropped everything by my door, and drove away. Absolutely appalling behaviour, and I definitely do not recommend this company at all. Avoid at all costs.”

“A classic example of how the remote outsourcing model can fail you. Avoid if you can. They quote you from the bottom up and will put 2 people on a job. Don't book them to pack. Fingers crossed you get pros otherwise expect a very long day. They will also hit you for any changes you make or if for some reason you cannot exactly calculate how many boxes you need. Follow-up support consists of the usual PR BS and fill out a survey to do their market research for them. Go local - go small - support your local businesses. Never again.”

“I called last min and still got a great price. Got a good heads up on my time range and having the way to see how close van was was very helpful. The gentleman was very helpful. So was all packed up real quick. Alot if care taken Was very happy with overal service will definitely use again Lesley”

“Anyvan are con artists . I waited 4 hours for one of there drivers to collect from my house .they never arrived. There driver said nobody was at the house . They even have the nerve to charge me another 50% for a second collection. £345 down the drain . Extremely unhelpful . Once they have your money there not interested”

“Honestly the worst customer support experience I have ever had. Their AI bot first introduced itself as a person then went on to cancel my booking without me asking. It then told me it hadn't cancelled my booking when in fact it had. I had to rebook at a higher price. When I finally got hold of a human, they didn't even apologise for the issue and refused to compensate me for the price difference despite the bot having clearly made a mistake. Wouldn't even escalate me to a manager or complaints team. Honestly never seen something this bad before, laughable.”

“ANYVAN website is very easy to use. They list their prices for any given day on their website. As I was flexible in my moving date I was able to get an excellent price for man and van. I chose to hire an extra man to help as I have no brothers or sons. This cost an extra £25 which was well worth it. The company is very well organised and I was kept up to date at all times. I received immediate confirmation and I was given a time slot. I was advised the time slot would be narrowed on the day which it was. I was able to track the van but received a text message when it arrived. The two men were courteous and helpful at all times. I would have no hesitation in booking this firm again”

“We hired Anyvan service fir my sons move from central London to Canada water This was a one bed removals We explained that the move needs packing and moving and involves some larger items which will need stairs to be used from the place they are moving from. What happened was the worst experience of our lives The people they send had no clue about the packing service so they did not bring anything to pack with. They demanded extra money for that. They then said they did not know about the stairs and demanded extra money. We initially paid the £960 for the whole service in full. After that they refused to move the things saying that we needed more money. Then there was 2 hrs spend talking on the phone with us and with the movers who where basically 2 people with a van the company contracted They had no experience in moving or packing They had no packing materials. They kept harassing my son to do things faster and that they had another job up go to. It was so terrible that my son who is 21 and a student was in tears Please don’t ever use these people We where charged a further 368 pounds after a lot of bullying towards my son and us”
