The actual moving experience was great. Friendly and efficient drivers. I would have preferred to arrange and pay for the entire moving-out and moving-in project at the initial quote stage, in one transaction. Instead I had to go through a sequence of different quotes and bookings which became tiresome and an which gave me unpleasant surprise at the ultimate cost. The barrage of emails is confusing. And the helpline has long waiting times, and when you get through you cannot be sure if you are talking to a robot or a human (it felt automated but creepily human if it was not!). If I were in the management, I would spend some time trying out experience first hand, to see what it feels like.

The driver was nice. AnyVan had a delivery job to deliver items 15 minutes away from a location however, my commute time was 1 hour and I had informed this. I was later told that if driver doesn't want to wait after reaching the delivery location, I'd have to pay £24/hour of wait time. It is ridiculous. I had already paid £60 for a location which is 15 minutes away, doesn't mean I asked them to deliver them within 15 minutes. The driver is the sole reason I'm giving 3 ⭐. AnyVan must update their policies as this is unfair.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE – DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. MY BELONGINGS WERE STOLEN. I had a shocking and traumatic experience with this company. The driver collected my boxes and, instead of delivering them the same day as agreed, kept them overnight. When I raised this concern with the company, I was told this was “common practice” and that there was nothing to worry about. The next day, the boxes were delivered to my storage unit. When I opened them, I was devastated. My belongings had been stolen and replaced with paper, plastic bags, and rubbish. My shoes, bags, clothes, and gifts for family members were all gone. I immediately reported the incident to the company, but no meaningful action was taken. Instead, I was told to contact the police. The matter has now been reported to the police and is under investigation. I cannot describe the feeling of opening your boxes and discovering that everything inside has been taken. It was a deeply upsetting and distressing experience. I strongly advise anyone considering this company to think twice. My belongings were stolen while in their care, and I received little support when I reported it. Avoid this company at all costs.

Kept me upto date when they were arriving. Handled all my boxes and furniture with care. Took all my boxes and furniture to the room I wanted then in. Very friendly and helpful drivers, went ot their way to assist. Excellent service and customer service. Definitely would use again. Thank you so much 😀

A quick response is what you are looking for when you are in need of moving quickly. That’s exactly what we needed and received. Great communication pre move and for our move recently. Very competitive price and the team on the day (incidentally the hottest of the year), worked very hard and nothing was too much. Highly recommend their services, thank you

The problem is that the drivers and the customer service teams are not one company - so I would advise booking an actual removal company rather than a company that outsources the driving. They also only do everything by phone, so no one came to look at my property to assess a van size or how many boxes - they just estimate over the phone by room size, which is very inaccurate. I was really stressed about in the weeks prior to my move so I called numerous times to talk to someone to see what would happen if there weren't enough boxes or wasn't enough room - they assured me that everything would be fine and they do this all the time. What they mean by everything will be fine is that it will be fine once you pay all of the extra charges they drop in your lap - and you are held at ransom by that point because you can't not move on moving day. So after the very large sum I had already paid, AND the extra boxes that I added before the move date because I was so concerned, I still paid almost half again on the day. And instead of it being stress free as promised - I had to do a lot of last minute box packing myself because we were running out of time. It was one of the most stressful and unpleasant days and no one will help you unless you pay more and more. The actual drivers were efficient and did a good job - but because they are separate from AnyVan, there is just too much of a disconnect

We are glad to hear that the drivers themselves were efficient and did a good job, but we regret that the process leading up to it caused such distress. To clarify our booking position, AnyVan does not offer quotes based on home or room size. Because we are fully aware that homes of the same size can be vastly differently furnished, our model is entirely inventory-based. We rely on customers to provide a detailed list of the specific items they require moved, and this agreed-upon inventory forms the basis of our service contract. This structure allows us to allocate the correct vehicle size and ensure fair pricing. When additional items are added on the day that were not included in the original agreement, extra charges are necessary to account for the increased volume and labor. However, we completely understand that experiencing unexpected costs on an already stressful day can feel incredibly overwhelming, and we are sorry that our communication prior to the move did not provide the clarity you needed. Your feedback regarding the customer service reassurance and the disconnect you felt has been passed to our team to help us improve how we guide customers through the inventory process. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Guy turned up to collect our car without a tow rope, second visit which they charged us for, no-one turned up to collect it! The attitude was unbelievable, rude and dishonest! Tried to telephone on hold 29 mins each time to no avail. Do not waste your money!!! WE SHALL BE CONTACTING trading standard,

Extremely disappointing experience with AnyVan. I booked a van collection slot between 12pm and 8pm and was specifically told that I would be able to speak with the driver before the booking slot in order to agree arrangements and timings. However, no driver was assigned until 16:08, which was far too late to organise the collection properly. The whole process felt poorly coordinated and highly stressful. A collection window of eight hours is already extremely broad, but assigning the driver so late in the day made communication and planning almost impossible. This caused significant inconvenience and uncertainty. The service did not match what had been promised at the time of booking, and communication from the company was inadequate throughout. When I tried to resolve the issues, I was passed from one customer service representative to another without anyone taking responsibility or offering a clear solution. Very poor service and misleading communication overall. I would not use the service again.

The two chaps worked so hard in the heat. They completed a task that many would have given up on. They shifted a 89kg box measuring 194x82x33cm up 2 fights of stairs with three doglegs and getting narrower towards the top. Excellent and polite ..... I wish all the persons I dealt with were of this calibre. Well done 👍🙏

Very stressful house move and awful customer service. I booked AnyVan to move my belongings from a 2 bedroom house and thought everything would go smoothly. I was VERY wrong. Whilst getting the quote for the move over the phone I informed the lady who was called Sabrina that I needed everything moved by the removal guys as I was 8 months pregnant and couldn’t move anything from any of the rooms. She assured me this would all be taken care of not a problem and did not mention any additional fees for this. I even paid extra for cover for my items in case of any damage caused in the move. However on the day of the move the removal guys turned up and took pictures of all the items and when they went to the second floor of my house to take photos of my bed they informed me that they were not allowed to remove the bed and it should have been on the ground floor and it would be an additional £65 for them to take it down from the second floor. I told them I had no way of moving this to the ground floor prior to them coming as I was 8 months pregnant and that was why I had booked the removal service and explained the situation to the lady on the phone when getting the quote. I was starting to get stressed at this point and the removal guys said they would contact the office team to see what the situation was. It took ages for them to get through to anyone in the office as they had to wait in a queue system and once they got through the woman in the office stated to them that I needed to pay the £65 before the job could be completed. They then asked the woman to call me. When she called she again stated to me that I would have to pay an additional £65 for removal from the second floor as all items were not on the ground floor. I explained that when I booked I had informed the woman named Sabrina that I was heavily pregnant and couldn’t move anything and that no additional fee was mentioned at the time and I was not made aware that this would incur an additional cost. All she kept saying was i understood but you need to pay the fee before we can move forward. I told her this was very unfair as I had already paid a large amount of money to have the removal service completed and should not have to pay any additional fee as I was not informed of this at the time of booking and again she just kept saying there was nothing she could do and I had to pay the fee. She was very unhelpful and then told me that they could reschedule the move for another day with no additional cost to me which stressed me out even more as I needed to move on that day. The whole situation stressed me out that much that I had become very tearful on the phone. Even at this point all she kept saying was that I had 15 minutes to make a decision on what I wanted to do or the removal guys would have to leave. This did not help the situation at all and she then stated that she would ring the delivery guys to speak with them. Whilst on the phone to them she informed them that they wait 15 minutes and if I hadn’t paid the extra cost that they were to leave the property and cancel the job. However the removal guys were brilliant and advised that they would help me as much as they could which they did and I had my move completed which I couldn’t thank them enough for. All in all the customer service from the office was absolutely appalling. No empathy or understanding of the situation at all or any ownership taken for the mistake they had made on their end with not informing me about additional costs. The removal guy told me that this happens all the time with this company which I think is very unfair. The communication in this company is non-existent and the hidden fees are ridiculous.

To provide some clarity on our pricing structure, our standard quotes are strictly generated based on the specific inventory and floor levels logged in the booking system, as upper floors require additional time and labor resources. If it is found that this information was provided but omitted by our agent, we will address this internally and contact you directly regarding a retrospective refund for the discrepancy.
