Sadly the shipping is consistently slow and misses their set deadlines. No correspondence explaining why there are delays and when chasing the customer services they do not offer any explanation or resolutions.

Ordered boots and a second hand pair were delivered ,A colleague did rectify with new boots sent out however they arrived too late due to carrier so missed an event they were ordered for , A Farley have yet to address this issue even after 3 email prompts. Disappointed

Customer service was poor I ordered on the fact they said 2 -5 days delivery I finally got my boots 10 days later meaning my daughter missed shooting at university as she had no boots.i rang them 3 times and everything was unable to give me a delivery date very disappointing

I have shopped, online, with A Farley Country Attire on two separate occasions. Unfortunately their website allows you to buy items that they do not hold as stock. This means delivery is delayed by a week or two (or in the case of my second purchase, two and a half months!). Updates on purchases are patchy, I had to chase items repeatedly by telephone because their sending and receipt of emails is also patchy. ‘Have you checked your junk folder’ being a regular quote! I had to return my second purchase, it costs just under £10 to do so via DPD (a separate purchase through A Farley’s website) which went smoothly - 2 days to return with confirmation of delivery by email from DPD (Oh, my email DOES work then!). Then ……Silence…. The website says ‘please allow 14 working days for refunds’. Again I had to chase this and have just been refunded, after 14 days. The one real positive is that when contacting the company by phone, they are invariably polite and pleasant and seem to genuinely want to help (even if they do use the ‘I’m sorry we haven’t received your email’ excuse a lot!). In summary then, this seems to be an old fashioned company with service that harks back to the 1950’s, do not expect modern, internet ‘speed shopping’ or new fangled email communication. If you are OK with waiting, give them a go. I will have to think very carefully before I make another purchase though.

I ordered a Barbour jacket and a Pinieros belt. After nearly ten days I had heard nothing, so I sent an email asking for an update. I then get a call saying that the jacket's out of stock, and what would I like to do? Gt the belt sent and go elsewhere, I think.

You advertise garments on your website that you do not have in stock and are unlikely to receive in the foreseeable future. This leads to extended delivery delays and extreme customer frustration which results in the customer vowing never to deal with you again. It may be difficult for a small family business but Amazon has set a benchmark for immediate delivery and you have to compete with a reasonable delivery expectation if you are to remain in business. You also need to show any extra costs eg. delivery, VAT at the time of order, so that there are no nasty surprises when the invoice arrives.

Although the goods were of a high quality and the customer service was top notch with me getting 10% back on my order due to the wait time - which is why the ranking is 2* as opposed to 1* - my boots took over a month to deliver which is frankly unacceptable. I will not be buying anything from A. Farley again in the future. I do not believe that had I not chased up my boots would have got to me at all. Thank you, but please get your act together.

We had a real debarcle with purchasing a pair of boots, which should have taken three days to be dispatched. They weren’t dispatched and a long process of poor communication, failed promises and waiting 20 minutes in a queue on the phone at various times to get information just wasn’t good enough. The staff were friendly and polite (hence two stars not one), but that didn’t get me the product any quicker. It’s really poor to have to be the one persistently chasing you when you are the one with problems your end. I understand there can be delays and problems, but we were promised the boots on three occasions before they actually arrived three weeks late and your communication was one way from us and atrocious. Sorry but we won’t be using you again.

Am very disappointed with my online shopping experience with this company. Communications is my issue. I ordered an item on standard delivery. After 5 days of ordering I emailed and was reassured I would receive order by 30 Sept. The 29 Sept came and I still hadn't been advised of dispatch. I phoned and I spoke to a very helpful customer service advisor and after looking into it advised there was a delay in getting my order in stock, she apologised and said should have been advised of the delay. I received my order eventually this Monday 1 Oct of which I am happy. Poor customer service let me down. I did not expect to wait 11 days. And what was more annoying is that no one could be bothered to advise me of a delay.

A bit disappointed overall as order to delivery took 11 days. DPD advised delivery on Friday 30th but actually delivered on Monday 3rd and the Meyer Trousers which were excellent quality were too tight around the calf and had to be returned. I wish there was an option for a wider leg trouser as not all men have skinny legs.

Very slow delivery! Ordered on a Friday and although should have been next day delivery, I still hadn't heard anything the following Wednesday. After a follow-up, I received an email the next day to say they were being sent out with no apology or explanation for the delay.

Disappointing. Allowed us to place an order of an out of stock item and failed to get in touch with us. Customer services did resolve the issue and offer a replacement but all in all we didn’t get the product we wanted and was delivered weeks later than expected.

The jeans were exactly as I’d hoped, but Meyer jeans always are. With regards to the service I was disappointed. When I made the online purchase it stated 2-5 working days delivery. As sonny as I paid this changed to 3-6 days. The actual delivery took 11 working days. I had nothing from the company as to why there was a delay so after calling them they said there’s a delay with my order as they were awaiting a “Meyer” delivery. I did try using the email contact facility but there was no reply to this. All in all disappointing

The goods delivered were not what was ordered. The return postage was refunded promptly and the returned goods have been signed for by Farley but since then no communication at all. As the order exceeded. As the item was expensive, £380, this seems poor service to me.

Two separate orders placed for different products showing as in stock. Took several days on each for them to confirm items weren't available and refund - in which time I could have ordered elsewhere and had delivered.

Very unhappy with the delivery company DPD you selected. They left the parcel at a small shop a very long way from home. Will need to take a taxi to it it is so far away.

Three items ordered, two not in stock, should really have stated when ordering, the one item that has arrived was wrong so sent back, reordered but same wrong item sent again, not a great shopping experience, won't bother again.

Contacted yourselves neatly 3 weeks ago about jeans, explained I didn’t want tight jeans . Took your advice, got tight jeans. Bought some shoes, which you sold someone else,upgraded them asked I what type of fit, as I buy a lot of good shoes, was told they where a small fit, thy came,they are a large wide fit. It all needs to come back. Contacted shoe company received correct shoe in 48hrs.then was asked to pay to return £400 worth of items.I had to ask for a free returns label ( two weeks before jeans came) very poor advice.
