Item was out of stock so had to change, then took two weeks to arrive and then I didn’t get the boot polish that I wanted with the boots that were nearly £500 emailed and still no reply

My order #212587 arrived extremely promptly which was great but unfortunately the boots were too small. As there was no return form in the parcel I tried unsuccessfully to ring you, then emailed and am still waiting for a response!

I purchased a pair of Hoggs work boots they’re great boots happy with them but they took two weeks to arrive I contacted the shop to ask why they wasn’t dispatched as I needed them and was not given a reason I take it they wasn’t in stock and had I been advised that I would have ordered some boots that were .

Order made on the 2nd December. Part received in Aberdeen via RoyalMail over the weekend. Unfortunately the main part of the Christmas Present for my wife, a pair of boots were not dispatched as part of the same order. Customer services has no line of sight on the status. We are now on the 15th of December. My wife’s main Christmas present is either still in the warehouse, out of stock, or has been forgotten about but the status is unfortunately unknown. Why dispatch half the order? Why has customer services no line of sight on order status? Something a bit strange on the logistics side of things I am afraid. Management needs to review and see what’s going on here. I’ve paid for goods and received part of the order and will be unlikely be able to find resolution prior to Christmas now. Very unfortunate.

Sadly I won't use A Farley again. I placed (and paid for) an online order and was called a few days later to advise that it's not in stock and has been discontinued by the supplier. These things happen but it probably shouldn't have been available to order originally. I placed another order on 28th November and by 5th December the order was still showing as unfulfilled so I called the shop and was advised it's being processed, that I'll receive an update email over the weekend, and it'd arrive on the Monday (8th). Nothing was delivered on Monday from A Farley and the order was still showing as unfulfilled so I have no idea why I was told it was being processed on the Friday. I emailed the support email address on the 8th which promised a reply within 24 hours but I had nothing so I found the email address of the customer services manager and forwarded the email onto them requesting a refund because I'd lost any faith my order would be delivered. A received an automated email the next day saying my item was being dispatched, clearly ignoring my request for a refund! My order was finally received on Thursday 11th, nearly two weeks after the quoted 3 - 5 days with no explanation from anyone about the delays and my refund request. With the stiff competition I have no reason to shop again with A Farley, it's the lack of reliable communication from the business that has frustrated me the most.

Items delivered in poor condition. RM Williams boots were delivered in a damaged box and the shoes have glitter on the soles…they appear to be display shoes. The jumper was delivered with no labels and not in any protective packaging. When you pay premium prices, you expect high quality, which sadly is not the case in the packaging and presentation.

Communication could have been more accurate. Was difficult to find out when the goods would arrive. The chat not is a nightmare to get an answer from. How many times can AI come up with a different draft of the same answer.

Arrived weeks later then said was a birthday present and birthday had been and gone by time this item arrived. Very poor customer service from your team will not buy from again
