I have shopped, online, with A Farley Country Attire on two separate occasions. Unfortunately their website allows you to buy items that they do not hold as stock. This means delivery is delayed by a week or two (or in the case of my second purchase, two and a half months!). Updates on purchases are patchy, I had to chase items repeatedly by telephone because their sending and receipt of emails is also patchy. ‘Have you checked your junk folder’ being a regular quote! I had to return my second purchase, it costs just under £10 to do so via DPD (a separate purchase through A Farley’s website) which went smoothly - 2 days to return with confirmation of delivery by email from DPD (Oh, my email DOES work then!). Then ……Silence…. The website says ‘please allow 14 working days for refunds’. Again I had to chase this and have just been refunded, after 14 days. The one real positive is that when contacting the company by phone, they are invariably polite and pleasant and seem to genuinely want to help (even if they do use the ‘I’m sorry we haven’t received your email’ excuse a lot!). In summary then, this seems to be an old fashioned company with service that harks back to the 1950’s, do not expect modern, internet ‘speed shopping’ or new fangled email communication. If you are OK with waiting, give them a go. I will have to think very carefully before I make another purchase though.
