I ordered wellies and a cap, the money was taken out of my account immediately, I never heard anything from them, so after a week I emailed to ask if the was any news on my items, with no reply! I then made a phonecall to ask about my items, after 30 minutes on hold I was told somebody would call or I would receive an email that day, nothing, two days later I called again after being on hold for ages I finally got to speak to someone who assured me my items were due, thankfully they arrived two days later.

A good price but a total lack of customer service. Delivery was supposed to be within 10 days but after the order acknowledgement and the cost being deducted from my card nothing arrived. My e-mails went unanswered and the phone was on out of office during their office hours. Had to involve Mastercard before I received any response. They did then send my jacket by express delivery.

Don't know haven't received my goods yet so how can I answer the questions below I can't upload any pictures because I have nothing to photograph I don't know the courier because I have been given no information who would/should be delivering the goods No emails have been received regarding the order that I paid for and nothing has been sent out I cannot tell you how many days the delivery took because Nothing has been received

We have had a look into your order and can see when you placed your order, you contacted us to let us know you had ordered the wrong size. We therefore recalled the delivery as requested. The alternative size that you required was not available on the next day delivery service as advised and would be with you within 5 - 7 working days. We use DPD which is advised on our website and you will receive a text message notification on the morning of delivery. Goods received but sizing is way out compared to similar pair of trousers from another brand. Looks like I have to stump up the postage and pay for the privilege of using this service. I won't be back after this experience - why on earth would I when I am charged for a return? There is too much variability in sizing to risk online with this store.

not very happy as i have wide calves and it is hard to find Wellington boots that fit my wide calves so they dont fit so i am trying to sell them on to someone else to try get my money back.

Did have a problem with delivery being a little longer than stated but Holly from customer services contacted me and explained what had happened. She kindly offered me a voucher so I was left happy.

Nice product. Absolutely dreadful delivery service. DPD driver ('Antonio') couldn't be bothered to deliver it to the house. So, for his convenience not mine, he took it to the local DPD drop off point which, helpfully, was closed over the weekend!

Boots are too small despite going up a half size. Obviously not A Farley fault. However was disappointed by the the returns policy which requires me to buy another pair and then return the original pair at my own expense. Next size up out of stock but would not take the risk in any case of having to return another pair. Will buy elsewhere. It’s not clear that there is a charge for returns or I wouldn’t have ordered. Indeed see screenshot below of Google result.

It took longer for delivery than I expected. The le chameau wellington socks arrived without any packaging/label (for £35 socks, I would expect them to be packaged as new with a tag on at least) the returns procedure was a real effort not having a printer at home, having to print two separate pages, and £7.95 to return an item is expensive considering the website widely advertises free returns and free next day delivery. Items were not packaged well, the extra items I had ordered had been out in with the wellingtons, meaning the boot jack was digging into the wellingtons.

Item good and all okay with that. Communication was dire. No indication of when my order would be sent, no email to say "Sent" - I just randomly got an email from DPD. I emailed the support email to ask what was going on - ignored. Started to think the store was a scam. Luckily it all worked out in the end. Honestly wouldn't recommend shopping here.

Have used A Farley a few times and the delivery time is terrible, great products, poor service and no communication. Will not use again .

Sadly the shipping is consistently slow and misses their set deadlines. No correspondence explaining why there are delays and when chasing the customer services they do not offer any explanation or resolutions.

Ordered boots and a second hand pair were delivered ,A colleague did rectify with new boots sent out however they arrived too late due to carrier so missed an event they were ordered for , A Farley have yet to address this issue even after 3 email prompts. Disappointed

Customer service was poor I ordered on the fact they said 2 -5 days delivery I finally got my boots 10 days later meaning my daughter missed shooting at university as she had no boots.i rang them 3 times and everything was unable to give me a delivery date very disappointing

I have shopped, online, with A Farley Country Attire on two separate occasions. Unfortunately their website allows you to buy items that they do not hold as stock. This means delivery is delayed by a week or two (or in the case of my second purchase, two and a half months!). Updates on purchases are patchy, I had to chase items repeatedly by telephone because their sending and receipt of emails is also patchy. ‘Have you checked your junk folder’ being a regular quote! I had to return my second purchase, it costs just under £10 to do so via DPD (a separate purchase through A Farley’s website) which went smoothly - 2 days to return with confirmation of delivery by email from DPD (Oh, my email DOES work then!). Then ……Silence…. The website says ‘please allow 14 working days for refunds’. Again I had to chase this and have just been refunded, after 14 days. The one real positive is that when contacting the company by phone, they are invariably polite and pleasant and seem to genuinely want to help (even if they do use the ‘I’m sorry we haven’t received your email’ excuse a lot!). In summary then, this seems to be an old fashioned company with service that harks back to the 1950’s, do not expect modern, internet ‘speed shopping’ or new fangled email communication. If you are OK with waiting, give them a go. I will have to think very carefully before I make another purchase though.

I ordered a Barbour jacket and a Pinieros belt. After nearly ten days I had heard nothing, so I sent an email asking for an update. I then get a call saying that the jacket's out of stock, and what would I like to do? Gt the belt sent and go elsewhere, I think.

You advertise garments on your website that you do not have in stock and are unlikely to receive in the foreseeable future. This leads to extended delivery delays and extreme customer frustration which results in the customer vowing never to deal with you again. It may be difficult for a small family business but Amazon has set a benchmark for immediate delivery and you have to compete with a reasonable delivery expectation if you are to remain in business. You also need to show any extra costs eg. delivery, VAT at the time of order, so that there are no nasty surprises when the invoice arrives.
