Website order advised 7 to 9 days for delivery. I waited 2 weeks. The item doesn't fit and now in have to pay to return it. Very poor service

Good range of items & a good, easy to navigate website, ordered a pair of boots at a good price, delivery however was woeful. I know it is a busy time of year (December) but emails get generic replies & took a week before the tracking information on the website even changed & it was best part 2 weeks before my order was delivered.

Meyer trousers do not seem up to usual qualty, material too heavy, no longer reference to organic cotton on a green label, the 'quintessential ( website word not mine) colourful lining replaced with boring payjamma stripe. I note that product now made in Moldova instead of neighboring Romania, could this explain some of the reason. A well known shirtmaker recently changed to making in China resulting in poor quality and fit but at the same high price, needless to say will shop elswhere. Perhaps I should change from Meyer to Bruhl in future.

I’ve ordered from this A Farley before with no issues, which is why this experience was especially disappointing. My recent order for a pair of RM Williams boots took a long time to arrive, and communication from the store was poor throughout. Not knowing whether the order would arrive in time for Christmas was quite stressful, and updates were minimal despite the delay. The boots did eventually arrive but the lack of communication and long wait really took away from the experience. I hope this was a one-off, as I’ve had better service from them in the past, but this order fell short of expectations.

Product was delivered later than the estimate. I understand that it’s a busy time of year but you should update your website with the right estimates. Contacted customer service with no response. Yet you sent our marketing emails during that period. I understand that you’re a small business but think improvements could be made to communications as was worried product wouldn’t arrive for Xmas.

Had to wait quite some time for my delivery 4 weeks. But in the end it went well. Response to e-mail, requires improvement. Sent 3 e-mails no response whatsoever. Calling is much better.

The item was fairly priced, initial Comms good, but it took eleven days for them to dispatch, I called them twice as I needed the item, a nice girl answered, but the item was still not despatched. When I did get a tracking number it arrived very quickly, although in flimsy packaging, if it wasn't such a tough yeti item it would probably have been damaged. It was just a frustrating purchase.

The boots arrived safely cleverly packeaged in a nondescript brwon packaging. However, although they look great I and the size was my normal size 6, and I take a normal fit I was unable to put my foot into the boot. there was a sharp angle which was too narrow for my foot. My feet are not wide just normal so unfortunatley I have had to return them. Not sure whether this is a common complaint and not sure whether to go up to a 6 1/2 if you do half sizes.

Great Customer service. My only gripe was it had an “A Farley” sticker on the outside of the packaging, I was hoping to kept the gift discreet.

My order #212587 arrived extremely promptly which was great but unfortunately the boots were too small. As there was no return form in the parcel I tried unsuccessfully to ring you, then emailed and am still waiting for a response!

I purchased a pair of Hoggs work boots they’re great boots happy with them but they took two weeks to arrive I contacted the shop to ask why they wasn’t dispatched as I needed them and was not given a reason I take it they wasn’t in stock and had I been advised that I would have ordered some boots that were .

While happywith my purchase (Meyer shorts) I was quite surprised that from the order date it took 10 days to be delivered. While I accept that you stated 5/7 working days delivery I would hope that going forward you can find faster delivery options as in line with most other online companies.. My comments are meant to be helpful for future, not as a complaint. Many Thanks

Boots I ordered were marked… at almost £300 a pair I’m not very impressed! Dubarry logo also wonky! Trying to get some sort of partial refund as I don’t have time to sort a return before Christmas now.

On contacting the company I was assured my order was despatched and given date of delivery There was no delivery and I then find out that order had not been fulfilled as the item wasn’t even in stock Not the best customer service ! HOWEVER .. a very good customer representative dealt with this and I received the other within 24hrs THANK YOU

Meyer trousers purchased, a brand I have come to associate with quality, That hasn't changed however the thin / poor packaging used meant that the item arrived heavy creased and will take time to sort out. The item seemed to take ages to arrive, not the 4 - 7 days as shown on the website, or confirmed order, nor did it arrive on time with the Post Office, though I suspect the Christmas rush didn't help. I did call the customer services after the 10:30am opening time, the email boused back, not recognised. Once I was able to talk to someone in person they were very polite and helpful. I will look to purchase a second item in the new year, hopefully things will go better.

Decent selection, slow delivery had to chase previous two orders, eventually arrived as part shipments. Shame was always a goto company but no longer the case...shame
