“Straightforward website and ordering process. I bought a metal insulated loft hatch and three plastic access panels (the latter not yet installed, but they seem well built and I like that they can be painted over). The products arrived even earlier than expected, after just a couple of working days, and in good condition and very well packaged. The hatch was easy to install, the only tricky part being my opening was very narrow around the hatch. I added a bit of foil insulation on top of the existing insulation in the hatch door. The hatch seems to create a good seal. When closed, the hatch temperature is only between 0.5-0.8 degrees colder than the insulated loft ceiling around it. Overall, very happy with Jupiter Blue.”

“I bought a made to measure roof hatch. The quality of the hatch itself is very good and the service was great. I had one issue, where the aluminium covering I'd paid for wasn't installed on my hatch which was a bit annoying, but after contacting the customer services team, it was sent the next day and I was able to retro-fit myself. I would definately use Jupiter blue again.”

“Very helpful person when I rang up and great telephone manner! Really helped me on the technical side of my order to make informed decision! Website pretty easy to navigate and UXP pretty good from memory, although was missing a fairly important piece of information that was given to me over the phone when I rang (max 900mm for hinge to be on shorter side). Price seems pretty reasonable for custom loft hatch. Delivery tracking and notifications would have been nice. Would buy again and recommend.”

“Good quality construction. Made exactly to size in a couple of weeks. Helpful office staff when I had a query. I think good value for a made to measure item. Not fitted yet, but don't anticipate a problem (unless I measured incorrectly!)”

“Bought a loft hatch and had a problem with the colour as it was not white. They were excellent in their response and had it collected from my address investigated and sent me another one. On expecting it was the same as the first one an off white which really shows up on a newly painted ceiling. I contacted them again and said I was not happy and could I return for a refund which they said was fine but the cost of postage is mine, which was not good as the cost could be quite a lot.”

Thank you for your feedback Geoff, we describe the hatch as white but make no claim as to an exact colour reference. As you've pointed out we've supplied one, collected it (at our cost). We accept the first version was sightly outside our normal colour range. We are happy the second hatch supplied matched our colour expectations and can legitimatley be described as "White". As the hatch is not defective or mis-described then it's down to you to return at your cost.

“Absolute delighted with this company ordered the loft hatch made to measure and arrived 6 days later I was over the moon and I removed it from the package and it was well packaged so I went to fit the loft hatch today Sunday 15 January 2023 removing the old one and then fitted it up Definitely requires two people to fit and with myself and the help from my son we fitted it in under a hour so I would say a big thank you to Jupiter Blue staff and will recommend to others great product and well made”
