“Ideal locking mechanism for our loft hatch, especially the weight of our hatch. Only drawback was the pole that was purchased at the time. I felt it could be a it more sturdy/stronger especially when turning the locking mechanism.”

“I recently purchased a drop down attic hatch, which i must say was as discribed.snd reasonably priced, the only downside with using them was the postage cost to Northern Ireland, where i live.The postage was almost as much as the hatch.Therefore i got it sent to a friend in England, who in turn posted it to me via royal mail, it was less than half price, so my question is why is their postage soo expensive”

“Very happy with the quality of the loft hatch which has been made to the size i requested. The only issue is the rod for the hinge to the door has to be recessed into the ceiling plasterboard to allow the draft excluder to compress against the plasterboard. It is quite difficult to install even with two people as you have hold the hatch in position with the door open to fix the screws into the joists. Eventually we decided to remove the door, offer the frame up, and mark the screw hole postions. Then drilled Pilot holes before putting the door back on and fixing the frame in position. It's so much better than the plastic hatch we had before so worth the effort.”

“Very good, however in my error I bought one that is non fire rated. I think you should remove any product from your offering that isn’t fire rated in this day and age”

“A very nice lift hatch but it would be much easier to fit (especially lone working) if the lid could be fitted after the frame was in place. Fitting the frame with the lid attached is quite difficult.”

“Good quality bespoke loft hatch,delivered very promptly and well packaged, just a reccomendation for ease of installation, can the frame be installed independently of the loft door hatch,this would make a one person job then.”

“Easy to fit and it's to replace another plastic loft hatch that you had to slide to open which resulted in it's breaking in 18 months. Hopefully this twist lock will work out better”

“Very good product. I have not fitted it yet but the quality looks great and the loft hatch has been manufactured to my specs. The only reason I didn't give a five star rating was the lack of communication. I was not given an estimated delivery date. I was not informed when the package was dispatched. The first I knew about it was when I arrived home to find a failed delivery note from Parcelforce. I then had to arrange a re-delivery to a suitable date.”

“I purchased a fireproof metal loft hatch and the lock arm to easily undo the latch while standing below. The hatch looks very neat with a low profile . The arm while functional arrived bent in the post(made of hollow square section aluminium riveted to a loft ladder 'grab' at one end and a triangular shaped recess at the other to fit the latch). Jupiter Blue replaced the damaged efficiently with no fuss. I am very satisfied with the airtight hatch-one improvement would be to protect the mineral pad insulation on the underside of the hatch with a thin metal skin as it is easy to knock the edges off in the installation and subsequently when entering the loft. That's why I haven't given the product 5/5”
