“Companty was great and the loft hatch is pretty solid (AT35) but it lacks coutersunk holes so the clearance between the screw head and the door is extremely tight. Consequently, the hatch is a bit sticky and depending on how my house moves in the summer I am a little worried it will get stuck. Also, I think for old houses the lip is somewhat pointless as my ceiling is very much not flat! I think an option for one which had a recessed groove around the edge so you could plaster it in would be better”

“First product arrived damaged, very quick to respond and send a new product no questions asked. As a custom item a little wait for replacement, but dead chuffed to get it in place and a perfect fit.”

“The hatch was easy to fit and looks good. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the plastic washers provided with the screws are too thick causing the screw head to stick out and interfere with the hinge. In addition, the screws are weak and I snapped the head off one. I used PZ 4x38 wood screws instead.”

“I ordered a loft hatch from Jupiter Blue (AT Airtight Loft Hatch 640 x 560mm Hinged) and was highly impressed with it, and the service received. The loft hatch was excellent in quality (really good) and very easy to install. I had already returned other ones bought elsewhere - so - very happy with this one and the company was good too - recommended!”
