I loved trying on the dresses at WED2B, unfortunate that could only try in the four but happy to say I did find the one, however it was my first ever time trying dresses on and if you want my complete honest review, I feel a bit let down by the shop as it didn’t feel like the day was made to feel special for myself or my guests .My friend even had to ask a member of staff if there was a sign for me to hold up saying that I had found ‘the one’ as this is usually standard at a bridal shop. Although I came away happy knowing I found my dress, I was also left a little deflated as I just didn’t get the excitement and treatment that I thought I would have and it did not feel special for me or my guests. I understand that Covid can make the situation difficult but just feel we could have been made to feel more welcomed and special as it is a day I have been dreaming of for a long time and imagined the experience to be a different one.

I liked the place ! I went in with a list of dresses I wanted to try I’d seen on the site - not one in the shop. I did find a dress in the end The experience was ok - but I felt the assistant was very pushy with accessories. Putting things on me I said I didn’t like or want. Then at the end really tried to get me to buy them I did state I just wanted the dress at the moment as didn’t know what else I needed as hadn’t decided on hair etc

Very mixed feelings. I bought my dress in advance having never seen it in person as it needed to be sent from one shop to another for me to try on. I arrived at the shop, the staff were not the most helpful, but I wanted to try my dress on and be sure I actually liked it. My main issue is the added extras they try and force on you despite saying no. I said I specifically didn’t want a veil as I felt stupid. Next thing, I had one on my head. Said I wasn’t interested in a hair piece. Next thing, one was on my head. I said I didn’t want a robe, yet suddenly found myself paying over the odds for a box, bag and coat hanger. I’m glad I had picked out my dress in advance as the staff seem only interested in making a sale. I couldn’t wait to get out

I went to wed2be in Hull. I absolutely love my dress so that is good. However it felt very clinical and like the assistants were programmed to make you try and spend money. I ended up leaving with a veil, tiara and veil comb that I have no idea the price of, as soon as I said I liked them they were like ‘ok I’ll get that wrapped up for you’. They showed me the most expensive dresses first and hadn’t really listened to what I asked for, it was only the last dress where I specified again what I was after that I found the dress I loved. The receipt wasn’t itemised and neither where the accessories priced so I just feel a bit ripped off in that respect and really don’t need a sparkly comb aswell as a tiara?!?! And I don’t know how much my dress, veil, and accessories were?!

I would like to thank Niamh at the Brighton store for the help in trying on such beautiful dresses. For me it was a very overwhelming experience and I had no idea what I was looking for. It was fun and relaxed. After I had picked my dress it was whisked away and boxed - and then I was handed over to another lady to pay. This process seemed very rushed with them then talking to the people behind me whilst trying to charge me an additional £300. I was made aware of the price of the dress - but no additional costs were discussed with me. When I questioned why the price was so much more they became short and unfriendly very quickly. It really did upset me, and completely ruined the experience. Yes, I found my dress which I am delighted about, but the way in which my shopping experience ended really did ruin the day for me. So unless you have unlimited money, and don’t need to know how much things cost, I wouldn’t recommend.

Hi Katie, during your visit to store our expert Bridal Advisors would have offered to package your luxury bridal gown in our premium Wed2b storage package, this is to ensure that no damage comes to the dress and that it is kept in pristine condition leading up to the big day. We would always recommend storing such a precious item in this package, not only does it avoid discolouring, the premium canvas box is also moth proof and will stop your dress from becoming misshapen. We would never advise leaving a gown hung for a prolonged period, as it can change its shape over time. I do apologise if there was any miscommunication in store. The items that make up the storage package are all chargeable items and can be found on your receipt, our Bridal Advisors have our bride's best intentions and this should have been offered to you once it was decided that this was your dream gown, to ensure that no harm can come to it - we know how special it must be to you. All purchases are made at the bride's discretion, and the total of the bill should always be read out to the bride before finalizing payment so that she is aware of the total cost. Congratulations on finding your dream gown, we hope you get to enjoy your special day with your loved ones soon, Please do let us know if we can assist you with absolutely anything else, we are more than happy to help. Best wishes, Charli

The service was really good. I went to the Hinckley and Shirley store and the team was fantastic in both locations. The prices for the dresses are affordable just that I had to add some accessories to make it look like it should. This resulted in paying the equivalent of two dresses and obviously that was not what I expected. I still love my dress and that’s why I took it BUT my problem is that the dress inside is visibly dirty and I only realised when I got home so now I need to pay for the laundry to sort that out.

We were served by Lauren in Norwich. She was very professional, welcoming and made the whole experience fun. She was very patient and understanding of my needs. The whole experience was joyful and I'd recommend to anyone. There was no pressure of a rushed appointment either which was lovely. The prices are very reasonable and all staff know exactly what's what and what suits your budget and needs. I love my dress and accessories too.

This was my second visit to the Nottingham store, the lady that greeted us seemed very curt and not as welcoming as my 1st visit. I had a list of dresses that were available but she didn’t seem to want to write them all down, it turns out she was leaving soon after I arrived so I’m assuming she wanted to get off. We were then greeted by Rana who was quite pleasant bit again, a lot different from visit one, This visit seemed a bit more ‘salesy’ Whilst I don’t mind this at all, it was just a very different experience. Overall it was ok

Loved the lady who helped me pick my dream dress for my big day, she had only been there 3 weeks and was amazing with me as I was unsure what dress I wanted! Only downfall was I felt like the whole time I was being rushed as it was very busy, almost toke that exciting experience away. I also felt like I was rushed into buying my dress, I didn’t have an option to go away and think about it then decide if I wanted to buy it or not. When I only wanted to put a deposit down for the dress they asked why that was the case, which I though was slightly rude. Overall lovely staff just not very organised and abit abrupt. Want to say a huge Thankyou to the lady who helped me. ( sorry can’t remember name). Southampton store.

I went to wed2b Belfast yesterday and the start of my experience wasn’t great tbh. I had pics saved of what I wanted to try on. The girl that was allocated to assist me asked what street size I was. I’m a 12/14, mostly 14. They tell you that you go up 1-2 sizes, fair enough I knew this from previous posts on wedding sites. The girl brought me to the rails of 16&18 and every dress was a no. Not one of my pics were available for me to try on. Gutted. I asked about the three is the dresses on the mannequins if they had those in my size? No don’t think so….mainly those are in small sizes etc. Like go and look! Was also told by the manager that there was a large delivery the night before so asked about this and was told no don’t think there is any my size but didn’t actually go and check with other staff or manager to confirm. Was very deflated. I then asked could I check the size 14 rail to even get an idea of a dress then can get an idea and order in my size to be told you can’t order a dress so my expectations weren’t right to start of with unfortunately. She said she’d ask the manager anyway if I could browse the size 14 rail and was told yes. Found one of the dresses I had pre picked and just a random other 3 dresses but was very disheartened. ALL 4 dresses in size 14 fitted me perfectly, not even right! So you don’t necessarily have to go up! Unfortunately only the one dress I had already looked at online was the only contender but wasn’t whoa. We were then informed that we had run over 45 mins and we would have to go outside the store and queue again from the back. When we were leaving the girl next door who was maybe slightly bigger than me was trying on the dress I had asked from one of the mannequins so was a little annoyed and the girls customer service altho she was very pleasant but going that little bit extra would’ve made all the difference. We had to stand outside in the rain and queue again for 70 mins. Invited back in by the young manager and asked about the dress on the mannequin at the entrance door. She said that she didn’t have that in a size 14 but could have one in the delivery that was similar. This was great news. A bit of alternatives being given! Was allocated by a different girl, Hannah this time, went to the size 14 rail again but brought my aunt over with me this time to look. I also noticed that the rail behind me had a mixture of sizes so asked Hannah if it was possible that there were size 14 dresses mixed in. She went out of her way and went thru the whole rail and we found 4 dresses! 2 of which we chose to try on with another 2 from the size 14 rail. One of these was a contender with the other dress from first time round so Hannah kindly allowed me to try that dress on again and compare and we were able to choose. Without Hannah going that extra mile for me I wouldn’t have found my dress at all as it was one we found in the mixed rail. I feel that the the first girl I dealt who was a bubbly lovely girl lacked customer service and in general the staff lacked the knowledge of what suits a woman’s body type. It was just looking at a dress thru plastic to decide if it was gonna be in the 4 dresses allowed. Felt rushed also. If the dresses in plastic bags had pictures from website this may also help brides to be consider what to try on as I kept googling the name of the dress to see a picture as hard to see just hanging there. In the end I got my dress but was a stressful experience.

We had done a click and collect and the dress was amazing and the lady on the till was absolutely lovely! But I felt so rushed by the woman doing the fitting. I didn't get to see the back of my dress, I didn't get to try on the petticoat she brought through and it all felt a little rushed... It was "so you'll take these extras" rather than do you want to try on different belts with it? I didn't get to see any other veils and it was all a bit rushed which for the total cost of everything is a bit disappointing. Dress itself is stunning! But our experience was more than a little rushed...

A bit misleading marketing strategy. We got caught off-guard with your "package" that is not stated in the website and even before trying on the dresses, so we had no choice but to purchase the "low-cost" dress you offered. I wonder how much commission you get from that very expensive seamstress that charged more than half the price of the dress. Very disappointing experience.

Bought my wedding dress from stoke yesterday and although the person was very helpful and knowledgeable I came home only to be slightly disappointed by a couple of things. I have been sold 2 luggage boxes (I am getting abroad) of which I am not 100% I needed 2 and it wasn’t really discussed me buying two of these, I needed the additional one I could have gone back in at a later date but when all I have to put in it is my underskirt & my shoes it feels a little unnecessary. Another comment to make was regarding the underskirt I did say that my friend was a dress maker and could make me one but I felt pressured into getting one again no prices were separated out to find out its cost £80 which I could have had made for half the price. Finally this could be me but I don’t feel like I was told I would be buying one of the ‘bride’ night gowns for £20 I was under the impression everyone gets one when purchasing a dress - this wasn’t the case but again only being given a total price rather than a break down has covered all of this up only to realize when I got home. I am in love with my dress but the other things were unnecessary in my opinion.

Love my dress but not a fan of the return policy! Was told by Wed2be staff that a petticoat would help the shape so I spent £80 on one. I have now had my dress altered and prefer the dress without it. The store will not accept the return as it is over the 14 days. I could not have had it altered any quicker so feel really disappointed. Staff did tell me that I could try to sell it on eBay! Not helpful at all!

I purchased my dress yesterday at the Edinburgh store, for the moment I walked in I felt very relaxed and the girls were lovely, very helpful. Serena took me through and helped me with all my dresses she was a talented young woman who knew her job very well. Would defo recommend for any bride to be to pay Wed2be a visit. I loved my experience there and found the ONE!

I bought my 3 bridesmaids dresses from the Bolton store (infinite range. The dresses are very good quality and very flattering on, and a reasonable price. Can't fault the dresses themselves, though customer service was of varying standard. The Manchester store staff were extremely pleasant and helpful when we went there for our first visit trying on. At the Bolton store on our second visit again the girls were really helpful and put our order through as a 'rush order' as I needed the dresses in 12 weeks (standard order would take up to 14 weeks) I paid extra per dress for this. I was advised, and it stated in my sales contract they gave me, that the order would take 'up to 12 weeks' with the expexted arrival date being 9th March. So naturally we were hoping that they might come perhaps a week or so sooner as it said 'up to', but knew and accepted that it could be the full 12 weeks . I then rang asking if the order had arrived the week before EDD, and was advised that they always take the full 8 weeks and the 9th March was the exact delivery date and there was no possibility it could be any earlier, she even insisted there was no 'up to' 8 weeks mentioned at the point of sale or in the contract (which is obviously a big porkie pie!) I rang on the 9th March to check if the dresses were in and was told by staff that no they were not, as their store delivery is always on a wednesday so I would have to wait another 2 days, technically now taking us past the 8 weeks time frame and out of the contract terms!! So I rang on the Wednesday and was told on the phone the dresses had arrived, I went to collect the same day and the Bolton store customer service was appalling. A lady came to serve me and took my paperwork and said she would go to look for the dresses (I would have expected they would have them ready seeing as I rang and advised I was coming for them that afternoon) She then immediately went on to answer her mobile phone in front of me and started having a lenghtly conversation with what seemed to be another staff member about an order, leaving me stood there with my 1 year old waiting. I asked another girl at the desk if someone was going to get my dresses please as the little one was kicking off, and she went to get someone else, who then couldn't find the keys to wherever the deliveries were kept. It was a good 20 minutes before the dresses were found and I was then advised I would have to wait longer as the till was busy (there was one family there adding up numbers on a calculator clearly still deciding on their order when the staff had started entering it all on the till) I had to point out that I had already paid for them to eventually realise that all they needed was a signature from me. A very unpleasant collection experience especially as my child was kicking off as we were stood around waiting and the staff did not seem interested in helping sort things out quickly. It seems once they have your order/money customer service goes out the window, be warned!!
