The only bit that let you down was the 7 different times I was given for collection over a period of 4 days…my parcel was ready…. I was in for every time slot…. It caused me a tremendous amount of stress in the end! Otherwise you would have got full marks!

Love that courier collection is arranged. Just box up and arrange collection day to suit you. Quick processing and payment. Just wish they’d pay a bit more for them!

Easy to use, quick service though the prices they offer aren't exactly great sometimes, hence why I also use two of their competitors.

No overall issues, but there was no communication between sending the books off and payment which was a couple of weeks. Would have been nice to at least know the parcel had been received.

The concept is good, the app is user-friendly and the process of accepting a quote and printing labels is efficient. Where it's let down (for me anyway) is the poor collection/delivery service by Hermes: I received no notification to confirm that they were coming on the scheduled day, then when they didn't turn up had to phone WeBuyBooks, who had no information about why they hadn't turn up. All they could was raise a query with Hermes by e-mail and ask me to wait. Hermes eventually collected the boxes five days later than the date I'd originally booked. Thankfully I work from home, so it wasn't too much of an inconvenience; if I'd made special arrangements to be at home for the collection, I'd be furious. So, overall, great concept and process from WBB let down by poor service and total absence of communication from Hermes.

It would be great if they accepted more titles and/or pay more than a few pence. Also the packaging labels they send have way too much unnecessary paper. Other than that happy with them.

Technically a good system and easy to work and free to use and send - But really low prices given for individual books and the effort and cost of finding boxes suitable to use to send the books has made me think twice about using the service again. It was so much easier to just take the books to the charity shop - obviously no monetary gain but weighed again £6 paid for 10 books chosen out of about 50 I had to get rid of ( the others all rejected) I might just as well as saved myself the bother of trying to source a suitable box for sending the books and taken them all to the charity shop.

Ok, but much of what I wanted to sell was rejected, even though I'd bought second hand from a similar company. The process of mailing the items was easy enough, but after well over a week I'm still waiting for the payment!

I recently sold some books on we buy books website. The procedure was easy and straightforward. I received payment in a few days,no problem. Some of the offers seemed quite poor ,but I wanted rid of the books so accepted them. I have used this website before and will probably use it again. The charity shop was very grateful for the books we buy any books did,nt want..

Thank you for accepting some of my books however I did scan lots that were not acceptable unsure why some are in excellent condition, fiction, non fiction, however not suitable to you.

Very prompt and efficient service but accepts a very limited quantity of books. I scanned 8 large boxes of books and of those, only half of one box was accepted. Scanning all 8 boxes and having so few accepted for the princely sum of a little over £14 made it hardly worthwhile. I ended up carting all the other books off to a charity shop depot. 5 stars for people's customer service, the ISBN scanning facility and the Hermes pick-up, but probably just the 1 star for the actual book-buying service.

The reason for using WBB on this occasion was the ability to have the package of books collected from home. Hermes didn't arrive on the day requested. The WBB staff contacted Hermes for us with preferred dates for reorganisation, which were ignored and a short notice, inconvenient date was offered by Hermes which was then missed. Further escalation by WBB received no response so I eventually too the package to a drop off point. The 3 star rating is lower than I would give WBB for their work (although they didn't manage to kick Hermes into life they did offer compensation) and significantly higher than I would give to Hermes on this. Hermes' performance will make me cautious about using this service again

Arranged my collection which was for a day I would definitely be in all day. There is no time slot just eg 8am to 7pm so you're tied to staying in until you know more. On the day itself the time slot from the collection comp[any changed a few times and kept getting later and later. Late afternoon it said it would not be coming at all that day. When i went to the site to rearrange collection it said I had not been in when they called- this was untrue and made me feel angry! There had been an automatic rearrange for the following day but no option for me to change it - no one asked if this was convenient! It did happen to following day but I had to change my plans so that I was available. It's not like a delivery where your neighbour can take a parcel in for you, this is a pickup and a heavy box so not easy to just leave with someone else.

Total lack of communication, I had no idea when/if the books had been received nor when I would be paid. The process took far too long, much longer than another bookseller who collected books the same day and kept me informed throughout.
