“Positives- Easy to use scanning books with an ISBN number. Easy to Send- Freepost- quick payment turnaround and tracking. Good to declutter your books. Negatives - Older books or no ISBN number realistically You can’t enter.* Note prices paid on most books are ** Very low but stops landfill.”

“The reason I have not given 5 stars as I think the prices now offered are much less than they used to be. However, I think the transactions I have with We Buy Books is excellent and money is in the bank the same day they are processed.”

“I love selling books as they realy deserve the second life. A year ago was easier with webuybooks as the limit was £5 to reach the trade. Now it is £7.50 and even with bonus given for the first scanned books, you can easily end up with 30 books and no trade as majority of books gets 10-15p. I do understand that posting is not cheap, but again, unless you got £2-£3 valued book, getting trade done becomes somehow as math olympics - close enough, but not where.”

“I found the service very useful and straight forward to use. I was suprised however to be told 2 books were recycled due to water damage. Ive never had any water in or around my book cases, one book had barely been opened. The books were fine when I put them into the box and when I raised a concern about this I was told the box showed no sign of water ingress so it is a mystery to me how this happened. Just a bit concerning.”

“Once you've downloaded the app it's easy to use and scan your books and CDs...the process is easy to follow , the boxes were collected by royal mail and money was paid into my account within 10days....good service all round.”

“This website seems to offer a better service than it's competitors. However, it is let down its delivery service. This may be a one off with the drop off shop I used, but the manager could not have been less helpful if she tried,claiming the parcel was too heavy without even weighing it. Not WBBs fault, not even Evri's fault actually, but has made me think twice about using WBB.”

“Easy, efficient and quick process. No issues at all. Sadly the amount paid for books is extremely low as there’s only one set price, and there’s no option for a different price based on the condition of book. This was shame as my books were in amazing condition but I chose convenience over earnings as I had too many books to sell individually. Use this service to get rid of books quickly and easily; not to earn any decent amount of money from.”

“A very helpful site, able to scan in ISBN codes. It would help to have a numeric keypad pop up when the ISBN number has to be put in manually - otherwise no issues at all. Prompt payment”

“It was a very easy process you scan and add the basket. They don’t give you a lot of money for each book, but I guess it’s a good way to Declutter environmental friendly. The process was simple. They send you a QR code and you go to the Post Office with your box of books. The money was in my account in two days. There was the option to collect from your home too.”

“Very quick and easy to use. First three boxes I sent off repaid the effort, but prices being offered for books now seem to be much reduced. Maybe I just coincidentally sent all the good value ones off first? But would def try again at some point.”

“Great to be able to clear out books I no longer need for work (text books, reference books, etc), but some of the prices were extremely low for books which were expensive to buy and were sent off in near mint condition. Great way if you're having a clear out, but don't expect to receive a lot for expensive books. Some of the offers were too derisory for me to consider sending them and I have listed them elsewhere. I like the fact that books are collected from a home address free of charge.”

“The process is very quick and easy, app is easy to use and the collection from Royal Mail has all gone smoothly. We have had a large number of books to go through which were left over from a scout fair and WBB are VERY selective about books they take, so it’s a great starting point but still need to find other options to take the other books which are too good for landfill.”

“I am happy about your service to us. My only criticism is over the unwillingness of the first driver from EVRI to take our package because the one parcel we had did not tally with the three he was supposed to pick up acording to his mobile. We reported the problem to yourselves, and you promtly dealt with it and a second driver collected our package within 24 hours.”

“Once familiar with the site, it is relatively easy to use. Also, acceptable efficiency and speed. Only down-side, is they often claim items not included, which have definitely been sent.”
