After carefully packaging and making sure all booked were in the box I was dismayed to see non payment for not receiving books. You put your trust in sending a package to find they don’t all arrive!! Sad really I know I packed them!! The box arrived in one piece!!

I like the red and green banners that makes life easy. I am not a fan of the other banners which get in the way when scanners many items. Prices are also low now that the minimum is £7.50. I would take advantage of privaleged user if it wasnt for the fact you want personal information when its a charity

Seem to reject a lot of items that you can’t then get back. Roughly half of 2 packages. For me not worth the hassle of scanning and packing for so little return.

I was very happy until they raised the amount per transaction to £7.50 and, at the same time, appeared to reduce the amount offered per book. By the time you've uploaded a few books and tried to save them in the app, it fails to save sometimes, then a few days later you get an email saying your trade is closing. Either you have to stack up a large pile to try to sell all at once or you are constantly hunting for things to add.

App worked great, but collection didn't happen and no communication about that. I had to call and rearrange collection. To be fair it was the runup to Xmas but communication was poor. Processing of payment was prompt. Will try them again.

Fast turnaround and prompt payment. Only complaint is the price given for items considering what they are resold for.

I delivered books to the WBB goods inward department. It took two weeks and t,here phone calls to obtain payment. On the third phone call I was told that there was no record of my other two calls and that the books were stuck in goods in. Not a good transaction!

My recent offer contained several large and heavy books. Therefore I packaged them into 2 boxes. I was sent one QR code and when I requested a second one I received a patronising reply about using one box that I could 'get from a supermarket'. When I pointed out that the boxes weighed 8 kg and nearly 9kg (therefore over the 15kg weight limit) the response was that i would receive an 'extra label on this occasion as a gesture of goodwill', After, over 5 years of dealing with your business, I was insusulted and annoyed as it suggested that I didn't know what I was doing

Good to see you can send packages via Post Office now. The Evri option is very flawed. Prices offered for books in very good condition could be better?

Easy process for selling and dropping off books but the last six months has seen a deterioration in the length of time before you get paid. Have had to phone the last two times in order to get paid. Disappointing.

The process of selling books on the app is easy but it is currently taking too long to receive the payment. My last trade took about 1 month from the day I posted the books to the time when payment was received.

It is not easy to use. It is not easy to cancel a book from the list.

Eventually the books arrived at the we buy books address . It seemed to take evri 2 and a half weeks to deliver them . I almost received the book amount they refused a few books .I more or less got the money straight after.

While the process was very easy, from getting a price, sending the books and getting the cash. The prices offered seemed low, and many books were rejected. I feel if they offer low prices they should accept more books and i get the choice to accept or reject

First transaction went great, got the money my books were valued at. Second transaction got cut by £3 due to apparent 'damage' to 3 books that were in perfect condition when sent off. They recycled it without informing due to 'spinal damage' on the books, as per their policy if a book is under the value of £3, rather than it being returned. Foolish policy, it's better to send them back or atleast give money to the sender as they could have resold it elsewhere and got some money for it. Customer service blatantly ignored

I am pleased to find a home for my lovely books. However the price I was offered was not really worth the time and energy spent on wrapping and postage. I was also dismayed to discover that when they received them they rejected several of the books and so my offer price was reduced significantly and the books “recycled responsibly”. I would rather have had them back!

disappointed in prices given for hard back books especially when in very good condition is there no way of upping your price once you have received them?

I had a few problems with using the We Buy Books app: 1) it’s very awkward to enter the ISBN manually on a phone - if the book isn’t wanted the message is obscured by the box you enter it in. 2) the site is slow to respond 3) it often doesn’t recognise ISBNs which are valid Also, the fact that the basket expires is annoying, as it may take a while to accrue books to the minimum value. There should be a longer period before it expires. I also use Sell Your Books, and I find this site much easier to use.

This service was straightforward with the turnaround time of one week from accepting quote and sending to getting paid. However, I found the quotes on the whole, rather low for some of my good quality books, compared to a different site.
