unfortunately it takes a long time to make a package for we buy books as there system prices are very low and the time it takes in comparison to other sites is alot longer and as a business seller time is money i have in the past sent over 1000 parcels but your system seems alot slower and your prices are lower than your biggest competers many thanks

Process to price and send books worked reasonably well. Much easier when books have a bar code, which many older or niche books do not. Process to send and get paid was very slow. But its free so thats good. Prices were low vs E Bay but much less work required. Also around 70% of my books were not wanted, so I had to deal with those elsewhere.

Not the best prices in the world offered and don’t want all books. Reasonable service and payment time. Shop around there are lots of these sights available.

I had a frustrating start when Evri, the company who collect the books didn't take my books when specified. It was another week before we buy books arranged another collection. With the unpredictable weather and requests to leave cardboard boxes full of books in a safe place outside for the courier to collect, it made for a very frustrating week. We buy books kept saying I'd hear within 48 hours for another collection time, but it was nearer 72 hours before I heard. Finally it was all resolved and I received my money, but perhaps its time to rethink your courier service, when they know they're picking up 5 boxes and then refuse to take them because they don't have enough room in their small car!

Very swift and easy setup and service. Was a bit disappointed there weren’t more of my books accepted but I guess that’s due to market demands. However pleased with results and will definitely use again.

Just used Webuybooks for the first time to assess how effective it was. Process of listing and sending books very labour intensive for what is minimal financial reward. For that reason I won't be using it again. Will just donate books to preferred charity shops instead in the future.

I found it really frustrating when I sat down with a large pile of books that I wanted to clear - most in near perfect condition, started scanning, then most not wanted. 10p offered for many books and need to get to £5 before the deal is done. I have decided that is is probably much better to donate to charity and they receive the profits.

Able to scan some of the books I had to sell but did not recognize or wish to purchase others despite bar codes. Got just over a 'fiver' for 5 books. Was expecting more.

A way to reduce present book holdings, but pennies being paid, lots of not required notices, it took me a day to scan books and dvds for a £24 payment. Easy to use , payment quick but the above was my problem.

Easy to use app, relatively fast payment. The only downside is they don’t take all books. Wouldn’t take over half of what I had which was mostly well known books like Harry Potter, the whitches etc

Good points: an actual human you can speak to in customer service. Bad points: scanner started to play up after I had scanned over a hundred items and my account temporarily disappeared. Customer service couldn't help because couldn't see my account. Unable to choose payment by bank transfer only by cheque.

The process is straightforward and this can be a useful way of finding new homes for old books that are too good to be thrown away. However, as the sums paid are trivial it takes some determination to reach the £5 minimum for a trade and I had to include a number of my own books in order to dispose of the house clearance items I was dealing with. The most valuable item in one trade (over £1 offered!) was rejected on the grounds of spine damage. This could easily have been repaired and I feel a price reduction would have been fairer than simply deducting the full amount.

Over the past couple months, I've resorted to selling elsewhere, as your prices have plummeted, which is why you'd of noticed, the lack of items, I've sold to you, I'm getting better prices, from another company. Your offering 10p's where the other company offering £2.

I mean look as with all these kind of sites they pay very little money and pay no attention to quality of items, then resell it for retail value. My biggest gripe though is with what they won't take, I could have filled a box three times the size but was stopped by the app continuously saying "We are not accepting this title at the moment" Average.

I used this app for the first time to sell my unwanted books - I had just over 30 to sell all in good condition. However the company only accepted 12 of these so I only just made the £5.00 minimum required, the unaccepted books I gave to charity. I found it an easy but time consuming process to scan each book, only for most of them to be rejected, and then pack and send as instructed. It was easy to use the preprinted label and drop off at a local store. The cheque came promptly once the books had been received. Overall, I felt the service was efficient but I found it very time consuming for very little reward and probably won't bother in future and will continue to use charity shops as my first port of call.

It says, We Buy Books, but only a very select few. After inputting ISBN numbers and on some title and author of the book for some 175 books, we buy books bought 16, at what worked out at less than £1 per book. So I still have well over a hundred to go to landfill due to the expense of recycling them.

Very easy to use but accepts a disappointingly low proportion
