“Easy to use, but the number of items they then reject for no good reason isn't good. I.e. bent spine on a paperback - what do you expect if it has been read!”

“I hace sold books back to them before .. but my most recent sale to them was accepted but they said 4 books were not in the package. Nothing I could do about it once they say they haven't received them. BUT I am sure they were packed with the rest as I use their list as a packaging guide. Very Strange”

“It was a very easy process you scan and add the basket. They don’t give you a lot of money for each book, but I guess it’s a good way to Declutter environmental friendly. The process was simple. They send you a QR code and you go to the Post Office with your box of books. The money was in my account in two days. There was the option to collect from your home too.”

“Very quick and easy to use. First three boxes I sent off repaid the effort, but prices being offered for books now seem to be much reduced. Maybe I just coincidentally sent all the good value ones off first? But would def try again at some point.”

“Very quick and easy to do. So much less hassle than selling them individually yourself. Just scan your book barcodes to see what they’re worth, box them up and post them for free. You’re paid the same day thet receive the books. Less clutter in my house and some money in my pocket was a win-win for me.”

“Great to be able to clear out books I no longer need for work (text books, reference books, etc), but some of the prices were extremely low for books which were expensive to buy and were sent off in near mint condition. Great way if you're having a clear out, but don't expect to receive a lot for expensive books. Some of the offers were too derisory for me to consider sending them and I have listed them elsewhere. I like the fact that books are collected from a home address free of charge.”

“This was the second time that I had traded preloved, but no longer used, books with Webuybooks. Once again, the process was very easy and straightforward. I entered the barcodes on the website, received prices for those they required and completed my trade with a final total offer price. Having accepted the price, I received instructions as to how to package/box the books and an Evri collection label which I printed and attached to the outside of the box. The delivery driver actually came a day early to collect my box. I was kept updated by email on the progress of my package and, once it had arrived, I received a confirmation of payment email. A cheque arrived in the post within a few days. A very easy process, I highly recommend this company and I will be trading with them again in the future.”

“The few times I've used the app it worked really well. A few books were rejected because they weren't in demand which is fair enough. The books were collected by courier on a day of my choice and funds were in my account within a week or so.”

“Decided to try this. Surpised at how many books they did not want and surprised, both ways, with some of the valuations. Sent off the package which was dealt with quickly and communication was good. Main disappointment, which I had seen previously, was that a book was rejected there due to faults with the binding. this was one of the more expensive books and I know for a fact that it was in virtually perfect condition (a thin travel guide and we never went to the place!). It does seem a coincidence, as others have found that the most valued books are regularly rejected on site, since it fell below their threshold for return, it is lost. Will not use this co again as I fear that this is a pattern that is likely to be repeated.”

“The process is very quick and easy, app is easy to use and the collection from Royal Mail has all gone smoothly. We have had a large number of books to go through which were left over from a scout fair and WBB are VERY selective about books they take, so it’s a great starting point but still need to find other options to take the other books which are too good for landfill.”
