“I never thought of selling my books (my life) but when forced to by the university (Lancaster)(thrown out of desks for hot desking) there was nowhere to put them. We gave 4 carloads to our wonderful local bookshop- Morecambe Pier Bookshop- but he couldn’t take anymore. We buy books made the final process easy. I was heartbroken- still am. But thanks for making the process easy.”

“This service was straightforward with the turnaround time of one week from accepting quote and sending to getting paid. However, I found the quotes on the whole, rather low for some of my good quality books, compared to a different site.”

“I bought 2 books from the UK to America, and they put the 2 books in a paper envelope, so the one book got damaged, so not packaged well at all. The book was described as (Unread copy in perfect condition. Dust cover is intact with no nicks or tears. Spine has no signs of creasing. Pages are clean and not marred by notes or folds of any kind.) This book was very much read, spine was totally unattached to the pages and board cover bent backwards, the book was signed to someone and a note with signature from not the writer, the dust cover in back had very deap scratch marks all over it. I asked to return for a refund and send me a label, however they wrote to me and asked me to send it to the New York facility- with me paying for the shipping costs, and they would refund me after I get a receipt- Whom does that?? I want to add photos but don't see an option for that.”

“I have completed two trades now with no problems. The first one was quite a large quantity of books and did take nearly a week until it was approved and paid, but then they had to go through 3 boxes of about 100+ books. The second trade was a smaller quantity and just took a couple of days to complete. I think as long as you have assessed the books genuinely before you send them, then there should be no problem. Who can argue really as the app is easy to use, the prices transparent and they get collected from your house - no effort. Yes some of the prices are a bit cheap and some titles they won't take, but it adds up if you have a pile of them. If you don't like the prices then sell them or donate them.”
