“Great app, bar code scan is easy as is input of ISBN on older non barcoded books. Parcel drop off is great, I can post the boxes in my own time at a local drop off Evri/Royal Mail without waiting around for a courier. Only issue…. quite a few books rejected and almost alway - the higher value ones 🤔😆 Reasons given are - damage or missing…. When I know they were in good condition and definitely in the box. So between me boxing them and the assessor pricing them …. something happens. Maybe at the unboxing dept 😳🤔”

“Some times I feel the inspections can be a little too high level. Things like music books being written in with pencil. Still perfectly usable. Even if you offered a slightly discounted price would be justified perhaps but to completely refuse them seems silly.”

“To many books refused or only a few pence paid eg 10p But what is the cheapest book anyone can purchase from you ? Also when a book is refused at your end - there's no evidence - just someone's opinion!”

“I was having a clear out of my old book collection from university, which mostly consisted of art books related to figure drawing, animation and concept art from various films and franchises. Ultimately weighing the pros and cons of trying to sell, pack and ship everything versus bulk selling I decided on the latter. I had read good things about WeBuyBooks so using the app to scan everything in and get a quote was super simple and I was able to get a quote quickly and simply. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount offered, and subsequently went through with the sale. The process from start to finish was smooth and ultimately I got exactly the value that I was quoted so I was quite happy indeed. There were only a few things that they either didn’t want, or the value was lower than what I thought I could get chucking it for sale elsewhere, and even then I ended up selling those too so I’m now clutter free and very happy! Would definitely recommend if you have anything a bit more niche book wise as you might be surprised with the valuations that you get.”

“It is easy to scan books into the system. Easy to get to basket and arrange collection. The company are quick to assess the books and inform you of acceptance or not. However when getting 10 or 20p for paperbacks it is hardly worth doing”

“From start to finish the process was exceptionally straightforward to navigate. Exactly what you need when trying to declutter. The app was super easy, and scanning the ISBN barcode is a brilliant way to get an instant valuation. The information guide for boxing up was great, and the fact that postage is paid, with multiple ways of sending, is excellent. Payment came very quickly after an acknowledgment that the books had been received and evaluated. Keep up the good work!”
