“I would never deal with them again. They said a book was missing (I know I packed it) and one hardback children's book was damaged and I know it was in perfect condition. They didn't accept two other books either but I agree that they were not in perfect condition but were collectors' items. I have purchased secondhand books in worse condition.”

“I like the red and green banners that makes life easy. I am not a fan of the other banners which get in the way when scanners many items. Prices are also low now that the minimum is £7.50. I would take advantage of privaleged user if it wasnt for the fact you want personal information when its a charity”

“I have packed up and sold about 6 boxes of books for WeBuyBooks. The process is easy, using their app, and you know how much cash you’re going to get. I was surprised how quickly it added up as I decluttered! Nice to know the books are being resold for someone else to enjoy rather than just pulped or dumped in landfill. Money anrrived in my bank account in a reasonable amount of time too.”

“Great to be able to move books on to where there is a demand. It all seemed very efficient with the app. Got paid quickly to. I decided they might have lingered in a charity shop and not find the right buyer. This way they go where there is a demand and I can still give the proceeds to charity. Such good recycling.”

“Seem to reject a lot of items that you can’t then get back. Roughly half of 2 packages. For me not worth the hassle of scanning and packing for so little return.”

“I found using Webuybooks a very pleasant and easy way to dispose of unwanted books. As expected, most of the prices offered were low but there were a few surprises for books in demand. The label and packaging was easy to follow and quick payment once my package was received.”

“The system and service have been great. Choice of Doorstep or other drop off is very flexible. Need to make the weight restriction clearer… it is too easy to overfill a box. Good incentive to clear more by increasing sale percentage for quantity of books. Your Promos have not worked for me. Each time they have encouraged me to list more to sell, but when it comes to the crunch, the sell accounting system does not seem to accept the promo code… but I have continued anyway to get the books out of the way.”
