“The butt is sturdy and sits well on its one piece standard. The tap was positioned inside the barrel for safe transit but this meant as one serious acrobatics to place it on the outside and tightened the collar. Ideally I could have done with another pair of hands. Very pleased with it's appearance and size. It was delivered on time.”

“This is now my 5th Harcostar water butt and with today's rain is nicely filling up using the linking kit bought at the same time. The first was installed over 15 years ago and is still going strong. My first 168L butt and my only comment would be if the tap hole was a little lower there wouldn't be so much difficult to access water towards the end of a long dry season. Water Butts Direct were extremely efficient, delivering the water butt within 48 hours of ordering and in a nice big box that gave my cats something to play in too!”

“Great Improvement! It's 14 years since I bought one of these and there has obviously been a lot of sensible thought put into the design since then. Small but important points like the stand now being 4 interlocking pieces that are easier to level and the side entry points being filled with threaded blanks so that no drilling is required. The tap is also more robust and the seals are thick but flexible. Altogether a good piece of kit. Maybe it is time to replace my 5 old ones!”

“I would have given you 5 stars if you had told me that my butt was out of stock when I placed my order instead of my having to ring to find out where it was after 10 days.However , it did arrive quicker than expected after that & I am very pleased with the quality of the butt.
