“Just the job - so happy with my new homemade water butt fitted with a Gutter Mate diverter. It really is easy to install and use. A little pricier than other diverters available on the market, but I think in terms of longevity and ease of use/cleaning, it should more than pay for itself over time.”

Hello Marianne, Thanks for your review. Unfortunately, the water butt you have ordered doesn't come with a diverter connector included, so you will have to purchase that separately. “Excellent. Reviews of other water butts said the were sloppy construction, lids fall off, taps leak, unstable. This water butt from Water Butts Direct had no faults. Its construction makes it stable. It is tall with a hexagonal cross section which makes it strong and stable. It looks good. Fitting to down pipe was easy and instructions were perfect”

“I was after a water butt that I could direct all the water from my garage roof into it. I could only find ones with domed lids and I would need to buy a diverter as well. Anyway Water Butts Direct had one with a 'dished' lid which meant I could put a 90 degree spout on my down pipe and direct the water straight onto the lid and it would drain through the holes in the middle into the butt. Brilliant! It was a great price too and delivered very quickly. I couldn't have asked for a better water butt and excellent service.”

“The butt looks good and the brassed tap is a good touch. I must have missed the point about not supplying a connection to the a drain pipe so I had to go out and find one. The tap is quite high up the butt so there is a lot of water which is below the tap and is inaccessible if the lid is screwed down”
