“Had my toulouse black nest of tables a couple of days and noticed a small circular bump on the middle table notified you and you want images of it i do not have a camera on my phone and not really up to speed sending things like that all i know is you have had £220 of me and one of the tables is not perfect what are you going to do about it ?”

“I purchased a few bits of furniture after reading excellent reviews and hoping I was buying excellent quality oak furniture. Delivery and first customer service was very good. But quality of furniture after opening boxes was a disappointment. The only oak part was top of the chest of drawers. Rest of the materials was cheap wood. All the drawers are fiddly different shapes, same are hard to open. And the stoppers they put behind drawers are already broken after using a few weeks. I wouldn’t buy furniture again from this company.”

“Furniture is nice , although not up to the standard of The Cotswold Company. The backing ( very thin board) of the chests are stapled on. This has left small rough holes,on each piece of furniture. Delivery appalling - Two men literally ran into house and 'Dumped' furniture in living room. When I asked if they unpack the furniture ( so it can be checked) and take packaging away - was told a blunt 'No'. This usually wouldn't have been an issue except both of us are disabled and had no way to unpack, move furniture into position or have the facility, to get rid of the tremendous amount of packaging. Furniture looks ok in situ , however, would not purchase again and would buy any future painted furniture from Cotswold Company - as much better quality...”

“Table arrived with rubbing along one top end which had removed the staining colour. Chair legs not all chamfered on ends so some risk of legs splintering. Generally, not finished as well as furniture from Oak Furniture Land.”

“I purchased a small oak sideboard from top furniture the product on delivery was of a good quality packaged well arring unmarked the delivery guys were grt too, however this took forever to be dispatched 3 months, the communication was non existent which was very frustrating! I will be using a different company for this kind of purchase in the future.”

“I'm a little disappointed with my furniture - it wasn't cheap either! Once l unpacked l noticed a few flaws and to be honest l was expecting better quality although not enough to return the items. I'm really fussy and just picked up on a few things. The finish should have been better for the price.Top Furniture it wasn't! Love the Oak tops but l wouldn't order anything else!”

“We traveled from Lancashire to Uttoxeter and were disappointed that all three items we wished to purchase were not on view. Very polite sales staff. Pleasantly surprised that items were in stock and delivered in three working days. Disappointed that one item (smallest of a nest of tables) was damaged and had to be replaced. Offered a discount if we accepted the damage but Top Furniture seemed a little inflexible in resolving the issue. We have therefore asked for a complete replacement set to be delivered.”

“I was disappointed..the cream colour was very yellowy and the measurement of the length didn't appear to have included the ridge at the bottom so it didn't fit in my intended place. I'm very close to returning it”

“I have purchased the sideboard, bedside tables and dressing table in farmhouse cream oak and it is excellent quality and I’m very pleased with it. On the downside , the dressing table was left outside my door at 630am with no warning when I was expecting it to be carried inside for me. In addition I would very much like to purchase the matching bed and wardrobe but the company have already refused to carry it upstairs and assemble it for me which is very disappointing. I would be happy to wear a mask and observe social distancing.”

“Very happy with the furniture so far. Thank you Mark and Kieron for all of your help. You both have a friendly, approachable nature, shame the same can’t be said for Carl, who needs some training also needs to loose the chip on his shoulder. The delivery team ( the call handlersI mean, not the actual delivery men, they were great) need so work too.”
