I have actually been disappointed with the quality. The drawers in the chest have gaps either side and they do not glide smoothly.

- Quality of the chest of drawers is decent, however backing is not solid oak, and a little flimsy. Wondering if the rest is solid oak or oak veneer. Time will tell. - Comms around delivery date good. - Delivery on time good. - Let down as over £500 spent for a chest of drawers where the delivery team (2 men) refused to take it up one short flight of stairs to our main bedroom. They were rude, provided no explanation and not flexible at all. Furthermore, the company doesn’t offer an option to pay more for ‘Delivery to room of choice. Our chest of drawers is still sitting in our living room. Shame really, this has seriously affected my review/ and rating of Top Furniture. I will not order from them again.

I am sorry to say so far I’m rather disappointed in your service, I received an email yesterday to say my delivery is on the 17th, I responded to say I am away that weekend so won’t be home that day to be told if I refused delivery it would be possibly 2 to 3 weeks wait for my delivery and that I would only receive a text on the day of delivery as notice, in this day and age most people are working and need a little more notice and at least give a few dates delivery to choose from, if delivery is coming from Uttoxeter I am literally 9 miles away, I did ask if I could arrange collection would this be possible but have yet to receive a reply. This is nearly a £1500 order and was going to order more shortly. Regards Lesley Pyatt

Products were delayed by 6 weeks due to shipping from overseas. When the products did arrive the box containing the table was pretty beat up. Delivery men were efficient, too efficient that they knocked a banister coping leaving it off. I have since put it back. Overall the products are good but if i had known about the delay or the delivery issues i would have thought twice and possibly spent money elsewhere.

Great to be able to converse person to person. Dealt with a polite friendly staff member and purchase and delivery was smooth. Bought a reduced price sideboard due to slight damage.Very happy with peice however would have been very disappointed if I had paid full price as I feel would be very over priced .

Just disappointed delivery wouldn't take packaging away, and had to lift the bookcase out of the corner of room to unpackage it because didn't realise they wouldn't unpack, will be using local furniture store who does everything in price next time

I have already written a review, do you not read them? The furniture was delivered late, the delivery men just dumped the furniture, unpacked, and upside down in the middle of my kitchen. It has taken me 6 days to find someone to help me unpack it, ( I am 80 years old so couldn't manage on my own). I would find it beyond difficult to recommend your company.

Certainly not as good a quality as expected. Delivery poor large boxes just left in the hallway no help offered or packaging remove. Drawers were upside down. Hoping my wardrobe delivery is better at the end of August. Would not have bought if seen in a shop. Sorry just being honest. Regards M Lennard

Furniture arrived promptly, respectful delivery men. Once the cardboard came off the chest of drawers, there was an awful smell to, it has taken about a week for some of the smell to go,the paint wasn't wet,but a white dusting was visible on my hand. I am not very happy,if my husband hadn't got rid of the cardboard wrappings I would have sent it back.

When the bench was built , I was so pleased with it , lovely quality , until I sat on it .!!! it is 2 to 3 inches higher than my kitchen chairs, it's more for perching than sitting , my feet don't touch the floor.!!. Recommend you check height before ordering. A Currie.

The chest of draws looks lovely, I scored it down as I was disappointed that the draws are not on gliders so do not open and close easily.

Unfortunately my chest of Toulouse drawers was damaged once took off all protective packaging. No problem contacting them with very prompt service and new drawers on their way within the week.

Nice furniture, but quality control has slipped a little. I have built up the ‘wobbly’ corner and learned to appreciate the large oak knot as a feature. Delivery Guys are great!

Lovely piece of furniture, really goes well in our lounge. I would have given a higher rating, but: a) the top surface marks far too easily - I put an (unlit) candle down for a couple of minutes and it left wax residue marks, which no amount of cleaning will remove. Also moving things like coasters and remotes around leaves tiny scratch marks. This may be due to the top being MDF not wood; and b) the drawer runners are uneven, meaning the drawers when slid out and then in again, stick out on one side until you push that side in. The legs are 6cm, but have a curved corner on one side, so 'square' plastic feet or carpet gliders will not fit.

Wanted a sideboard as a room divider, checked with Natalie that the back would be OK but it has a large knot hole and several small ones. Front is good, delivery on time.

I ordered an oak bar stool which is very sturdy and I love the design, the one problem I have with it is that on the legs there is obviously a mixture of blocks of wood used of different shades which to me makes the stool looks cheaper than the price paid. I try to make sure the leg is facing in and not in view.

We wanted a chair to match one we'd bought before as it is well designed, comfortable and sturdy. The first chair to arrive had bad joints on the back rest. Communication with customer support was excellent and it was replaced within 2 weeks. Having asked for the replacement to be checked before despatch, it was apparent that only the backrest was, as one of the legs was split and another had a small chip. It seems that there has been a lack of quality control somewhere in the system.

The actual piece of furniture is fantastic however I purposely bought from this retailer as it said that they would deliver the item to a specific room - as it was a large solid wood piece I needed this as I can not lift it upstairs to my daughters room alone - when it was delivered the gentleman asked where I wanted it and when I said upstairs he said that he couldn’t do that as he wasn’t insured, when I said that it said he could when I ordered he said “loads of people say that but we can’t “ I feel very misled and had the item sitting in my living room for nearly a week until I could get some people to help me lift it - I would never have ordered if that was the case as I knew I couldn’t manoeuvre it upstairs alone!
