Not what I was expecting after looking at the picture online looks cheap but I suppose it is cheaper than some furniture

Purchase took many many weeks to arrive, once delieverd and un boxed product was faulty, there is obviously a quality control issue here from the manufacturers as i dont believe they are checked once delivered into the country. In fairness to Top Furniture they had no quiblle once i had sent them the evidence to arrange pick up and reimburse my account so 5 stars for that.

Very poor delivery service if you are unavailable for their one option delivery date you need to wait a longer period for an alternative date. Should that date not be convenient they charge an additional £30 for another date. It took over 6 weeks to receive our order of not more !! This lets the company down in my opinion. On that basis I would shop with them again.

Disappointed with the chairs , not the quality I expected, glue left on legs , wood roughly finished, one chair wobbles

The Harrogate chairs we ordered were fine which we fully expected, we had made major purchases before spending several £thousand and hence our reason for returning. The reason for the low rating is due to the marketing deception on the website, we originally planned to purchase 12 chairs at £149.99 each, this would have totalled £1799.98, the website clearly states the following, "spend more than £1500.00 and get an extra 10% off", followed by "spend more than £2500 and get an extra 15% off", there is no caveat stating any exclusion, it was worded as an incentive to make you spend more money ( which is fine ), however when making the order we was informed that the chairs were already discounted and therefore did not qualify, we produced the paperwork from the website clearly stating this wording but it made no difference, we therefore only purchased 10 chairs ( £1499.90) as we could not afford the extra £300. This marketing is unethical and deceptive and should not be used by Top furniture, your furniture is of an excellent standard and by using these underhand methods does not do your company any favours where there is no need to.

I love the product, brilliant quality and exactly what we wanted. But very disappointed with the delivery staff. Refused to take chest of draws up on small flight of stairs. They left it out on the street and I had to carry it up on my own. In comparison, John Lewis delivered an even larger wardrobe the following day and delivered it straight to the top floor no questions asked!

The chairs delivered had unequal length legs ...so that they wobbled on a flat surface.. I had to correct that .. Something I didnt expect to do

The 4 dining chairs we bought appeared good value when we ordered them, but on arrival one chair was damaged and one of the two packing boxes was water damaged with the contents damp so the goods were unacceptable and had to be returned.

Delivery men on time of 7am, very polite but said could not take wardrobe up stairs . One box was 30kg, other box 70kg . Really heavy to carry upstairs with my slight 45kg daughter. Took 3 hours to put together as only one or 2 or the 28 hexagonal head screws would tighten fully with Allan key. Ended up have to drill all the holes deeper with a drill. Never had to do this when putting together flat pack furniture in the past . Looks nice now together but would not buy again . Don’t expect to pay £700 for wardrobe and have to start drilling it!

It looks a lovely piece of furniture but these days i thought soft close doors and drawers came as standard do that lets it down.

This company should offer an assembly service for large items like the three-door wardrobe. Not at all impressed with the assembly instructions and lack of easy to use tools. Special screws require an Allen-key, which is provided but is very difficult to use. I would suggest a power drill bit and flexible chuck extension would be more appropriate. In my opinion, the construction is crude with hand drilled pilot holes. No precision at all. The cupboard section just sits on the drawer base and you are required to fix three metal straps to the back once positioned and then the whole thing needs to be positioned, with the top added, to where it needs to stay. Try doing that in a small bedroom when you are an elderly couple.

Quick delivery, but… how am I to take my bookcase up the stairs?? Don’t order anything that needs any lift or carry, the delivery men just flatly say no. Lazy service, spend the money on a product that allows you to have your furniture where you want it. It’s a return for me! Shame!

I ordered two stools. They came in good time. However, the rungs are so low I am unable to put my feet on them. My legs dangle on the stool. I am 5'7" so not short. If I had known this I wouldn't have ordered them. The stools are sturdy and well made. It's a shame they are so uncomfortable.

Disappointed . Wardrobe came dirty and dustyIn places . Paint work patchy finish. Looks easy to put together but screws don’t Screw in properly so having to get someone in to sort it , probably going to cost a further £40 . Would have expected better when paying almost £700 .

THE FURNITURE IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY CHARGED. THE TOP ESPECIALLY IS VERY THIN. IT DOES NOT FEEL VERY SOLID. THE BACKING IS VERY ROUGH.

6 items delivered only 2 were not damaged and wrong size bed slats were sent, initially struggled to get hold of customer service although they did get back to me and sent the correct slats out and some touch up paint, still waiting for their courier to pick up wrong size bed slats as can't get them to the tip and no confirmation of how long they'll be sat in my house. Overall quite disappointed

Unfortunately my experience of Top Furniture to date has been a little disappointing. When I opened the cardboard box which my new desk came in, I saw a fault right away in the middle on the front edge - which was very noticeable - and not something I was expecting for a piece of furniture that cost £549. I contacted the Customer Support team immediately who were very responsive and extremely apologetic. They offered me an initial discount to retain the desk, which I refused, they then offered me a further discount which I also refused. This was because it had taken me a while to find a desk which I really liked so I wanted and expected it to be perfect not faulty upon arrival. The Customer Support team advised me that they would make arrangements to have the desk collected the following Friday (because I told them that the rather large box that the desk came in was in the way in my front room, where the delivery men left it). I was then told that a replacement desk would not be back in stock until mid September (2 1/2 months later)! I was advised that the collection had been scheduled between 8.30am and 11.30am. However, I waited in all morning but no-one came to collect the desk! I contacted the Customer Support team again who advised that the earliest date that the desk could be collected was the following Tuesday. So unfortunately, I received a desk that was obviously faulty upon arrival, I have had the inconvenience of a rather large box sat in the middle of my front room for 11 days pending collection, have wasted half a day when I should have been out working waiting in for the desk and have the added inconvenience and discomfort of being without a desk in my home office for a further 2 1/2 months (so I am having to work on the dining room table), until the replacement furniture is back in stock. So, unfortunately I've not had the best experience to date as a Top Furniture customer and sincerely hope that there is not any further issues with the new desk when it eventually arrives?! Fingers crossed!
