“Barrie Francis from Timberwise is AMZAZING!!! I contacted Timberwise in Nottingham to get a damp survey / second opinion for a house I was renovating that was in a bad state of repair. I had been told it was rising damp by a previous company 'Preserva C S S' and quoted £5,000 which seemed extremely high, so I was very sceptical about it. Barrie Francis from Timberwise was the surveyor who came over, he was exceptional and 100% honest which seems hard to find in the damp world. He drilled into the wall to take samples unlike the other company and to my relief informed me it was not rising damp but mild condensation which would basically fix itself once heating was on and fresh air has been the into house as it had been vacant for 6 months before purchase. I also asked what the cost would have been if it were rising damp and it was more nowhere near the other quote and very reasonable. I always recommend Barrie to friends and family because from my experience I know he is completely honest and does best by the customer.”

“We used Timberwise to deal with a dry rot problem in our home in London. The surveyor, Keith Defoe gave us professional, practical advice and peace of mind. Chris Ricketts carried out the work and I cannot recommend him highly enough - really knew his stuff and worked to an incredibly high standard. He kept the work area very clean and tidy and was a pleasure to deal with.”

Timberwise treated the woodworm in our loft space and provided a friendly, competitive and efficient service from start to finish. Rachel in the office was a fantastic help and so efficient in getting everything done at that end. Steve, their surveyor was very efficient and prepared an excellent investigative report. “Timberwise Sherborne: excellent value for money and highly recommended. They sprayed our house for woodworm and also gave us advice regarding treatment of deathwatch beetle. Both Steve (who inspected the property) and Justin (who carried out the work) were extremely friendly, informative and efficient, and a pleasure to work with. Nothing was too much trouble - they went above and beyond. I would not hesitate to recommend them.”

“I called Timberwise with a dry rot problem in my dining room. Spoke to Jenna who arranged for Matt Hargrove to call the next day. Matt, surveyor, arrived on time, communicated well. Work was done by Neil (exposure and treatment) and Steve (plasterer) both arrived on time, were polite, friendly. work was neat and tidy, waste was taken away. Price was expensive but what we expected. From my experience I would recommend Timberwise.”
