“Ryan and Russ from the Leeds branch just completed a water proofing system and timber treatment on an old yard cottage in Whitby. Turned up on time. Everything done as quoted and agreed. They made a useful photo record of the works as they progressed. Really pleased with the swift service.”

“Tim and the Bristol team help us resolve a dry rot issue affecting the ground floor of our Mother’s house. Although we were managing the project remotely from different city and country locations(!) during the recent pandemic lockdown, Timberwise gave us peace of mind throughout the project and delivered a first class result. Highly recommended.”

“Ryan K and Russ C undertook dry rot treatment and timber replacement works at my site. Works undertaken diligently, within timescales agreed and to the agreed budget. Liaised with other parties on site, kept all aware of works involved and restrictions during duration of works. no issues, pleasure to deal with. thank you”

“Timberwise treated our whole living room and a few other small areas of our home for damp. The service was very professional and friendly throughout, from the survey (conducted while we were buying the property) to the end of of the process. Leah at HQ was excellent and charming, and Tom (damp course) and Justin (plastering) were reliable, hard working and nice guys. I won't pretend having this sort of work done when you're in the house isn't dusty and disruptive, but Timberwise made it much less painful than it could otherwise have been. Happy to recommend.”

“Barrie Francis from Timberwise is AMZAZING!!! I contacted Timberwise in Nottingham to get a damp survey / second opinion for a house I was renovating that was in a bad state of repair. I had been told it was rising damp by a previous company 'Preserva C S S' and quoted £5,000 which seemed extremely high, so I was very sceptical about it. Barrie Francis from Timberwise was the surveyor who came over, he was exceptional and 100% honest which seems hard to find in the damp world. He drilled into the wall to take samples unlike the other company and to my relief informed me it was not rising damp but mild condensation which would basically fix itself once heating was on and fresh air has been the into house as it had been vacant for 6 months before purchase. I also asked what the cost would have been if it were rising damp and it was more nowhere near the other quote and very reasonable. I always recommend Barrie to friends and family because from my experience I know he is completely honest and does best by the customer.”

Chris Ricketts carried out the work and I cannot recommend him highly enough - really knew his stuff and worked to an incredibly high standard. He kept the work area very clean and tidy and was a pleasure to deal with.”
