“I would never recommend this Company to anybody. We had an Independent Surveyor to a property following their works, who basically advised us that the work they did was an absolute joke. They are not interested at all and we will be seeing them in court.”

“I would like to say how pleased I am with the service from Timber wise. Matt Hargrove has been fantastic. He completed a survey for my property purchase, Matt rang me after the survey was completed and updated me on the issue and the cost. Matt was very informative, friendly and helpful. Matt is a great credit to Timberwise 😊”

“I thought that Timberwise were a reputable business, until today.... I bought a house that held 20 year guarantees for Timberwise work on damp course treatment. Over the weekend water poured in through a wall, so contacted Timberwise. They tell me that I should have transferred ownership of the guarantee. NONE of their paperwork issued at the time the works were done states this, their terms and conditions do not state this, and at this moment, their website does not state this. What is the point of a guarantee that is for works on a property, but is guaranteeing a persons name??? Is this legal? Off to my solicitors then...........”

“When claiming on the guarantee for timber wise they made the process extremely timely and unprofessional. We were told that we had to send all documentation by post to the office which at first was not a problem. However, they do not tell you the £185 cheque you have to send aswell with it. Having done so, we were then told that the person ‘who deals’ with the process hasn’t attended the office and we would have to wait for our gurantee to be checked before we were even allowed to claim. Even though there was a hole in my floorboards, which was progressively getting worse, due to the woodworm. Timberwise refused to send anyone out to help until our documents had been looked over, which could take up to 6 weeks. Additionally, after this I would have to wait for a time to fix the problem, therefore it could take up to 2/3 months. Even though I have a hole in my flooring and I am unable to fix it myself without voiding the gurantee. Extremely disappointed having spent a substantial amount sorting out the problem beforehand.”

“I found the staff member, (Morgan?), I dealt with extremely pleasant and helpful- and told her so. If I ever have the opportunity to recommend a surveyor to anyone their company will be it. Cheers”

“I had Gary from Timberwise come and do a survey for us. We found him to be very professional and knowledgeable, and actually recommended less work than we had been quoted by a local company. He explained everything clearly, and the work required and recommended made sense to us. I am happy to recommend Gary and Timberwise.”

“IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING USING TIMBERWISE, STOP! Unfortunately we inherited Timberwise as the previous owners of our house had used them for a basement conversion. But I would not recommend them to anyone. Their customer service is appalling with no sense of urgency or consideration for the customer. It took 2 months from us reporting a leaking basement, complete with photo evidence, for them to arrange a visit. They have then done the bare minimum to fix the problem, pushing as much responsibility as they can back onto us. Don't use Timberwise - go elsewhere!”

The local team have been in touch about your waterproofing system and will continue to provide you with help and support regarding your basement waterproofing system. Advice was also given regarding extra measures that would help improve drainage on the outside of the property that would help ensure future issues did not arise with the basement.

“Just completed damp proof work on my cottage. Works were carried out to excellent standard by friendly hardworking pleasant staff. From the surveyor Peter to work men Ryan Mark and Matty it's been a completed to a high standard after been let down by another PCA company. Top job thanks guys.”

“Ryan K and Russ C undertook dry rot treatment and timber replacement works at my site. Works undertaken diligently, within timescales agreed and to the agreed budget. Liaised with other parties on site, kept all aware of works involved and restrictions during duration of works. no issues, pleasure to deal with. thank you”

“Customer service sorted my problems”

“I’ve just witnessed something amazing… I’ve just witnessed something amazing .Gary Hart the Senior surveyor for Timberwise in Richmond SW15 6NP just came to assess my cellar, for which I had been previously quoted many thousands of pounds of work to prevent damp. He told me it was all dry, after checking with a very good professional damp meter, and all I needed was a humidifier or extractor fan to lower the humidity. There had previously been water ingress due to no drainpipes which has been sorted. The experience of meeting such an honest person was quite moving. I would throughly recommend his service, and I see from other reviews that the rest of the company is equally professional. A big thank you.”

“I had an original quote from a company that misdiagnosed the problem in my flat and wanted £5k for the job, another that wanted £420 just for a quote. Gary from Timberwise gave me an opinion with no charge, he was honest and gave me lots of advice on how to treat the damp. I highly recommend this company for their integrity and service. I would give 6 stars if I could”

“Steve, your surveyor, was very thorough, and recommended remedial work which was appropriate for our house, and our circumstances. He noticed some wall cracking that we had not mentioned, and arranged for corrective 'stitching'. Wayne and Nick the technicians were very courteous and efficient; they guided us through their procedures and were quick to answer any queries we had.”

“Ashley George visited us to advise about a damp/mould problem. He took time to explain the possible causes, essentially condensation, and solutions. He described potential products that might help, but much of the advice given was simple changes in the way we ventilated our property. We said we would try these actions first. A long term problem has now been solved, with no expenditure. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ashley and Timberwise.”

“I have some issue with damp in my utility room. I had Adam come out to see me today and tell what is needed to rectify this. He was friendly and really helpful and even wrote it down for me so know what I need to get the builder to do. Would definitely recommend this company.”

“I contacted Timberwise to get an issue we had with woodworm. Keith came out and conducted a survey to establish the scale of the issue and an appropriate treatment plan. Not the easiest thing given the vaulted ceilings in our property. Price was very good and undercut a local pest control firm. On the day of treatment Mark and Norman from the South West Branch arrived on time and despite a few logistical issues at the start they worked really hard to get everything done on time. They were a pleasure to have in our home and left everything clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend them. Staff at office were also really helpful when booking.”
