“Great service from start to finish. I made initial enquiries and sent photos then booked a survey. The surveyor was lovely and gave me great advice. The quote was reasonable and the work booked in. The guy from Timberwise who tanked the garage walls was lovely, on time, pleasant and left the space very tidy. He worked hard all day to complete this first part of the job. Plasterers came 2 days later as arranged and were finished before lunchtime. So far so good, no more water from the neighbouring raised ground level when it rains.”

“A very nice young man, Jack Cowan, came to survey my very cold and damp flat. He was extremely thorough, showed me meter readings, took lots of photographs and gave me explanations as he worked. He also agreed the empty flat below me could be part of the problem of condensation, which I now have. I took all his advice on board Having a new window fitted with trickle vents, in the bedroom, the worst room, also an infrared heater. A big new Dehumidifier has helped a lot, and is cheap to run. I have created more space in my wardrobe and drawers, for better ventilation. This has made a difference, clothes dried out. I have a routine when I put heating on, the the Dehumidifier, a Bosch, I recommend. It can even be run overnight, it's so quiet. As for the empty flat below me. That is now in the hands of a lawyer. I found out that ownership was not registered by the family, who inherited the flat 5 years ago, and completely ignore it. So Legally it still belongs to the deceased. Putting me in limbo. However, this situation will be resolved eventually, now that I have employed a lawyer. Jack was a great help, and so nice it was a pleasure to have him in my home.”

“The lovely Jack came to inspect my flat for a dampness problem. He identified condensation and proceeded to advise me how to treat it. He had first done a thorough inspection, explained to me how his meter worked, what he found then what I needed to do. He was very patient and friendly. Answered all my questions and left me full of hope, that I could solve my problems. Told me exactly what I needed. Which includes more efficient extractor fans. Which I will definitely buy. I couldn't be happier with his visit. Knowing he was properly qualified, unlike the people my factor had sent. A big plus. Full marks to Jack and his company for the help I received. I will be telling my neighbours about him, as there are quite a few flats in this development with the same problem. Thank you Jack and Timberwise.”

“I contacted Timberwise because they are PCA recommended. Their surveyor Duncan Mackinnon came to see me a few days later and was very professional and knowledgeable. I learned a lot from him. He wasn't in any rush and gave me the confidence that should I need to have some work done they are the guys to do it. He advised me that there was nothing to be done at present but to monitor the areas that I'd shown him. I would certainly get back in touch with Timberwise should I need to. Many thanks Duncan.”

“We had a report done by Timberwise after our spray foam was removed. From start to finish they were very professional and helpful. It was easy to communicate by email and they respond within a day. Dennis did the report for us and he was brilliant and very knowledgeable . He explained every step to us and was friendly and answered all our questions. “After contacting Timberwise for a quote we had a prompt visit from one of their Surveyors, Iain Rose. He was a lovely guy, very friendly and extremely knowledgable. He spent a lot of time explaining what we would need to have done and offered lots of advice which was appreciated. We accepted the quote and the work was carried out quickly as we were under time pressure to continue other works. Timberwise were very accommodating and the work was carried out to a high standard. I would not hesitate to recommend the company.”

“Keith produced a professional and comprehensive survey of our dining room wall which was suffering from rising damp. When we accepted the quote the job was arranged very quickly and smoothly. Mark then stripped the old plaster, injected the new damp proof course and replastered the wall. He did a great job, and was friendly, considerate and professional throughout. Thanks!”
