“Keith came over to do an initial inspection of a damp wall in our bathroom and the wall on the other side of the bathroom by the stairs. He was friendly, knowledgeable and clearly very experienced. After he'd measured the moisture levels of various parts of the walls he came to the conclusion that we didn't need damp proofing work done at all. He explained why and it made a lot of sense to us. Keith's honesty and excellent customer service was great and basically, just plain reassuring. We're not the experts, we're dependent on contractors being honest and truthful. So whilst Keith might have left without a new job booked in, he left a great impression upon us. We would definitely recommend to anyone we know, who needs this work on their home, to give Timberwise a call. Just to add. We'd already had an inspection from one of the big damp-proof course firms. Perfectly nice people, but quoted us several thousand pounds for something that doesn't need doing.”

“Rodney was absolutely fantastic. Kind and incredibly helpful, listened to all of our issues and gave us so many options for solutions. So knowledgeable and was able to offer on the spot practical solutions. He even let us train our anxious cat whilst he was doing his checks!”

“Keith & James gave their unbiased expert advice when we called them in for some floorboards damaged by a leaking shower after they thoroughly examined the underfloor area and gave a clear and concise explanation of what damage had occurred and offered possible solutions, including the option of Timberwise making the necessary repairs. “I discovered a small area of decay in a window frame and was,not sure what type of rot it was. The Timberframe surveyors arrived and James assured me that it was wet rot and that it was a simple DIY job that I could tackle. Thank you for your advice and honesty. (Another company had worked up the job into a quote for £4k+.)”

Once I had scheduled the appointment in our surveyor Ian was punctual and understood exactly what needed to be done, given our slightly unusual report requirements. “A first class service from Timberwise from the whole team. After an initial call the Surveyor Mark came out to visit and advise- he was so helpful. Very quickly work started and I found Dean (who did the building work) to be so competent, professional and reassuring it made the whole experience much less stressful for us. Following on from this Mark the plasterer completed the work to a high standard. We were so pleased we chose Timberwise and would not hesitate to use them again. Thank you”
