“My experience with Thomas Knight was pure excellence. He was punctual and professional on all levels. I felt at ease and my anxiety had abated once all my questions were answered. I highly recommend Thomas as he went above and beyond to execute all duties carried out on my ground floor flat. All my questions were answered with confidence and he certainly put me out of my misery. I would 100% appoint Thomas again for a survey as he has big shoes to fill, just brilliant!”

Chris especially was polite, punctual, and very knowledgeable, taking the time to explain the process as he went along. His work has been completed to a very high standard. My overall experience has been a very positive one and I would definitely recommend this company.”

“We had a report done by Timberwise after our spray foam was removed. From start to finish they were very professional and helpful. It was easy to communicate by email and they respond within a day. Dennis did the report for us and he was brilliant and very knowledgeable . He explained every step to us and was friendly and answered all our questions. The report was done to a very high standard and very thorough. I will recommend them to anyone that needs a report from a PCA member.”

“After contacting Timberwise for a quote we had a prompt visit from one of their Surveyors, Iain Rose. He was a lovely guy, very friendly and extremely knowledgable. He spent a lot of time explaining what we would need to have done and offered lots of advice which was appreciated. We accepted the quote and the work was carried out quickly as we were under time pressure to continue other works. Timberwise were very accommodating and the work was carried out to a high standard. I would not hesitate to recommend the company.”

“The surveyor was very knowledgeable and was realistic about the type of work that was needed and gave a clear explanation and produced a detailed report. There was no problem in arranging to have the work carried out without much of a delay. The work was undertaken efficiently and great care was taken to limit and mess in our house. I would thoroughly recommend Timberwise.”

“Keith produced a professional and comprehensive survey of our dining room wall which was suffering from rising damp. When we accepted the quote the job was arranged very quickly and smoothly. Mark then stripped the old plaster, injected the new damp proof course and replastered the wall. He did a great job, and was friendly, considerate and professional throughout. Thanks!”

“Update including original post. Carried out quite a lengthy research to narrow down potential vendors to carry out the work in my home. Of the companies that visited, Timberwise was the only one that gave me confidence. A huge part of that decision came from the interaction with the staff. A big thank you to surveyor Jack Cowen who inspected the property. Following the extensive survey, Jack spent considerable time looking at the results and the best way to deal with the issue. Knowing he would project manage any technicians on site and keep us appraised as the work is carried out was reassuring ( and kept the work control with us for authorisation ). I would also like to praise the administration team Kerri McFadden and Emma Southam. Both Kerri and Emma were very professional and the rapport made all the numerous queries, booking and deposit payment go through smoothly. Update - The work on the property went ahead and I nothing but praise for the result! Huge thanks to the main technician Ricky Keddie. Ricky is one of the most impressive contractors that I have seen. Very amiable and knowledgeable character who clearly has a wealth of experience. The quality of the work is impressive and high level of finish is rare these days. When additional work was identified, Ricky kept us advised, organised additional materials arranged and carried on till completed. Praise to Jack the original surveyor and the office team who organised contractors for an additional day on site. Working with Ricky was a very able apprentice Liam Ross and carpenter Jordan Simons, both worked very hard to help the project progress and it's greatly appreciated. I recommend Timberwise !”

“I had to have a last minute survey because my Home Report had expired. Time was of the essence as it was only a matter of days before the sale was supposed to concluded and the purchasers' lenders were getting twitchy. I was dismayed when the surveyor reported a small amount of woodworm in a small cupboard under the stairs. I was grateful to Timberwise for responding so soon. Their representative Forrest Hamilton phoned me to let me know when he would arrive, was pleasant and courteous. His impressive knowledge of the wee beastie in question was reassuring. Even more reassuring was the fact I didn' t have to fork out any more money for treatment as the guzzling creatures had long gone!”
