“We're in Dorset, and are most grateful for the work that has just been done for us this week by Dylan Robinson, with a real eye for detail, an impressive skill-set and a clear desire to finish the job well and to the very best of his ability; and he left us with lots of useful advice about maintaining the surrounding area. He was supported in this by Mark Silvester on the management side, who was really helpful and understanding in the issues that arose over the three days of the work, providing support and a willingness to adapt to the situation as it developed. Earlier, Tom Knight, our surveyor, provided a very careful, detailed and useful report, which helped us to understand more about the necessary maintenance of the cavity membrane system that keeps us dry. Thank you, Timberwise, for all your help and support in this!”

“We recently had Martin from Timberwise Leeds attend our farmhouse and barn renovation project to carry out a full survey of all the timbers, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Martin thoroughly inspected every piece of structural and non-structural timber throughout the property and was extremely knowledgeable, professional and detailed in his approach. He gave us very helpful advice and recommendations on the best treatments to preserve the original timbers, while also guiding us on how to improve their appearance so they can become real feature elements within the renovation. His knowledge and experience were clear throughout, and he took the time to explain everything in a way that was practical and easy to understand. Martin’s input has been invaluable to our project, and I would have no hesitation in recommending both him and Timberwise to anyone needing a thorough timber survey and expert preservation advice.”

“I’ve been involved in property for many years and have dealt with numerous damp companies over that time. I was recently having ongoing damp issues at a lower ground floor flat property in Stoke Newington that several other companies had looked at without ever really getting to the bottom of the problem. A surveying engineer recommended Timberwise to me as a reputable company and strongly suggested I contact them. I dealt with Jason and Keith, and I’m very glad I did. They were professional, honest in their assessment, and took the time to properly investigate the issue . Communication was excellent and they were very responsive throughout. The surveyor, ( Kevin) was friendly & knowledgeable, recommending what was necessary to deal with our rising damp & loft mould but also (very important) - advising us what was not. The technicians Kevan & Justin were excellent - friendly, on time and thorough, leaving the rooms affected clean & tidy when they left. We were also served well by Mark, the contracts manager at Yeovil, who was always available by phone or email to advise.”

“I have no hesitation in recommending Timberwise. I had an area of rot in a roof timber. After carrying out a moisture test Gary advised me I needed a roofer to deal with water ingress, which was the problem. He said to spray it would be unnecessary and a waste of my money. Gary was knowledgeable, personable and honest (which can be rare these days). He made a big impression on me and had I needed work doing, I would not have hesitated in using them.”
