“Carried out quite a lengthy research to narrow down potential vendors to carry out the work in my home. Of the companies that visited, Timberwise was the only one that gave me confidence. A huge part of that decision came from the interaction with the staff. A big thank you to surveyor Jack Cowen who inspected the property. Following the extensive survey, Jack spent considerable time looking at the results and the best way to deal with the issue. Knowing he would project manage any technicians on site and keep us appraised as the work is carried out was reassuring ( and kept the work control with us for authorisation ). I would also like to praise the administration team Kerri McFadden and Emma Southam. Both Kerri and Emma were very professional and the rapport made all the numerous queries, booking and deposit payment go through smoothly. The work on the property is due to start and I will update this review with feedback on the technicians, if they are as excellent as Jack, Kerri and Emma, then a positive review update is assured.”

Nick who fitted all new joists, floorboards and installed 10 subfloor vents to our property was highly professional, efficient and meticulous in all work carried out. “I had to have a last minute survey because my Home Report had expired. Time was of the essence as it was only a matter of days before the sale was supposed to concluded and the purchasers' lenders were getting twitchy. I was dismayed when the surveyor reported a small amount of woodworm in a small cupboard under the stairs. I was grateful to Timberwise for responding so soon. Their representative Forrest Hamilton phoned me to let me know when he would arrive, was pleasant and courteous. His impressive knowledge of the wee beastie in question was reassuring. Even more reassuring was the fact I didn' t have to fork out any more money for treatment as the guzzling creatures had long gone!”

“Very Professional and smooth service, i recently had three rooms damp proofed which involved removing the old plaster, injecting a damp proofing liquid, them replastering with a damp resistant render, all throughout the job, the installer kept the areas clean and tidy considering the invasive work and dust this work can create, it was kept to a minimum, he was very methodical in the process and left the walls with an excellent finish, all in all very happy with the work”

“I would like to thank Iain Rose for his honesty & advice regarding a survey which he carried out for me in Bedford. I was potentially going to buy this property, however, after talking with Iain I realised that a lot of work was going to be needed to be done. After careful consideration, I feel that there is too much hassle involved and I will not be buying this property. It simply isn't worth my while. Fantastic customer service from Iain.”

“Iain Rose came to my house to do a survey and I showed him what I thought was woodworm. He was very honest about his assessment and have advised me that it was an old woodworm problem and that I dont have to worry about it. What a breath of fresh air to have a surveyor as honest as him! “I met Iain at Timberwise, who came to look at possible moisture issues following a surface roof repair on our Edwardian conversion flat. Iain highlighted areas of concern and gave advice regarding a host of secondary issues to look out for and an overview of how Timberland could help. Iain is fantastic. “Well what can I say other than don’t doubt this company. Keith the managing surveyor from Timberwise Yeovil branch came to see me with a view to installing the osmosis system (or anything he suggested would be a solution.) Fair to mention at this point I’d done several works that in my view had not worked. Spent a fortune on these so-called solutions from other trades people none solving the issue. All had no post work support. Convinced my self I was sat on a river with no solution. I heard about the osmosis system so found Timberwise. He arrived on time and was a really nice person to boot. He listened carefully, not like something other trades had done, then asked if he could take readings of the walls. He took damp readings in a number of places. Imagine my shock when time after time the readings said no damp at all. I’d shown him the worst too. Bless him he took time to explain my issue was salt and as my old walls were quite thick they needed time to stabilise. All I needed was patience. He could have just sold me the system but he did not. He put me first. He also suggested a remedy for a small wall that I had not done anything with in the short time I have been here. Again I just need time before that’s done. So my experience of Kieth from Yeovil Timberwise is he is amazing. Timberwise are lucky to have him and def don’t pay him enough. I can’t speak for other employees but Kieth should do the training if they are not following his lead. Yes the company did not make a sale on this occasion, but I will use them for that wall and any future work. Also My neighbour asked how the appointment had gone as she has a really bad damp issue so I gave her his details and she’s going to get in touch, it’s a lot bigger job hers. Rather proves the point that goodwill generates business, I def won’t recommend the previous builders who I actually paid. However Kieth I would not hesitate to and who did not charge me a penny. His knowledge is truly amazing, and nice to boot. Thank you so very much to him, finally a company that values your business and is honest There are some around taken me 4years but bingo.”
