“Good price, quick delivery, easy to use website. Only minor criticism was that the delivery company didn't phone me to arrange a delivery date/time. I'm guessing that it was the same driver as the last time as they were left in the right place when I was out.”

“Ordered half pallet of peat and half kiln dried wood delivered on one pallet. Peat is great burning slowly and will stay in over night if I turn my multi-fuel stove right down. Wood is very good too but very expensive for what you get. But why oh why do you send it on a lorry with only a hand pallet. They are meant for use inside purpose built factory environments not for uneven roads with slopes, bumps and kerbs. The driver tried his best but could not even get it to the entrance to my drive and abandoned it in the road!”

Dear Simon, we do state that the delivery is kerbside however it seems that in this case the driver may have had trouble reversing to your particular driveway. Can you please contact us on support@luxurywood.co.uk so we may assess this further.

“The logs are excellent - in fact, the best I have ever had and I would have no hestation in ordering again BUT the following circumstances make it unlikely. The huge crate was left on the roadway near my home. This meant that I had to unload the crate on the busy roadway and carry the logs to my garage. This took me a few hours and was exhausting. All other deliveries of logs etc have been left on the pavement at the end of my driveway, where I expected these to be delivered. This would have been OK in the summer months, but in limited daylight hours during winter in Scotland this was far from ideal and a danger to other road users being unlit and causing an obstruction. The driver explained that the company recently took delivery of the new lorry and it lacked the necessary equipment to unload to the pavement!!! If the issue could be resolved then I would have no hesitation in placing an order in the future. Regards, Elaine”

“I have bought from you before and my first purchase delivery was swift and the pallet was full to busting. This experience was rather disappointing. As well as the delivery being down to the wire when I checked the pallet I was disappointed to find that it was at least one layer light so not really value for money .”

“Excellent service! Great quality wood, very well packed (there couldn't have been another log on the pallet if they had tried) and fully wrapped so our nice dry logs remained dry until they could be stacked in the woodshed. Will be using this company again (although not for a while as we now have a lot of logs to get through!)”

“we have used you many times before for our wood but was shocked to receive our order on one massive pallet which the driver had no choice but to dump outside the garage. There was so much wood it took me and my 11yrs old son 5 hours to stack and sort before the rain came. The delivery driver managed to put the packets of bricks (2 pallets) near the house but we were both horrified to see that the only way to get the wood off the truck was to reverse it and dump it onto the grass. usually it comes on a pallet or two and is easy to stack but this time it was an absolute nightmare. I could hardly move my arms after so much stacking and I had no choice as it was blocking the drive way for others and rain was due. No point ordering dried wood to leave in the rain!! I come out in a hot sweat just looking at the wood now and shall never forget how awful it ws to receie it in this way. Mrs Turnbull”

Dear Mr and Mrs Turnbull - I see previously you ordered other types of packing for your logs but this time was the first bulk bag and heat log combo - these are VERY big and really best for people who do not want to move the logs from where the driver leaves them (the logs are kept dry with the skirt tied top). In future please call us beforehand so we can recommend packing which will be more convenient for you.

“I have used Luxury Wood Co for a few years now. I buy both pellets and bioblaze heat logs. They have always supplied what I needed in time and the prices regularly get cheaper! When an invoice went astray they answered the phone promptly and sent a copy immediately. Only real problem I have had was with the courier not calling me before delivery but that is sorted now. No reason to use anyone else.”

“I'm a repeat customer for Luxury Wood Company" I regualalry buy wood pellets and wood logs for my boiler and wood burning fires. Good prices and rapids no fuss delivery are both major positives. However I do have 3 comments for suggested improvements. First is recent change to wood pellets supply brand. Main offered brand now is Granulta pellets and they are NOT good quality pellets. I have had significant trouble with my boiler since using them. They produce a lot more ash than other brands, are a lot more powdery and tend to burn too hot for the boiler so it shuts down regularly. They changed the colour of the package so I mistakenly bought them again. Will not buy them in future, second comment is a suggestion to offer PayPal payment on website, my other suppier offers PayPal and its a lot more convenient as address etc is supplied automatically . Final comment is that it appears that additional information in the address field is not passed on to the logistics company as I always pass instruction to put road name into satnav and this instruction never appears on the drivers instructions, this may be an issue with e logistics firm and not LWC themselves.”

Hello David, all of our wood pellet suppliers are EN+A1 certified and there should be no problems with pellet quality due to the strict EN+A1 requirements. Different boilers will react differently to various pellets but we would certainly like to discuss this with you and investigate further if possible. “This is wonderful wood, really carefully seasoned and dried and cut.. Thank you. The only thing we're going to have to get used to is the delivery - it would be great to have a more precise time as we need to bring it into the house straight away and it takes a while.”

“Made an online booking 4/3/16, got a call 7/3/16 to ask if a wagon could gain access, told them yes, they said they'd deliver 8/3/26. Still no delivery by 11/3/16 so rang the haulier direct, they said all their wagons were out, so we asked if we could collect, which they said yes to. we have had no apology, we are lucky to have a vehicle capable of collecting or we would have been out of fuel entirely. not sure who is at fault, but not very happy, think we should be compensated due to collection.”

“First time I have ordered nets, we normally have the crates, and it's a brilliant way have wood delivered, so easy to transport. The wood nets are just right, some small and some large. Will definitely order these again.”

“I ordered a large pallet of wood and 98 bags of stove fuel, the wood was good quality varied sizes and dry, burns very well, the stove fuel (hot rocks) burnS good and hot leaving nothing but ash, bunking up overnight with this gave a hot stove in the morning. Delivery was quick and the driver managed to get the fuel well into my drive way (must say I do have a flat drive) overall a good experience and would certainly recommend The Luxury Wood Company to anyone purchasing fuel.”
