“Product appears to be excellent,but packaging is terrible.25 % open on delivery,some badly torn,resulting in loss of product and time lost sweeping up driveway”

“This is the second time I have bought firewood from The Luxury Wood Company and like last time, the quality of wood is fantastic !! However, delivery was a big let down. I had two pallets delivered but one was accidentally dropped off the back of the truck, which smashed the crate and spewed wood all over my drive. The driver was embarrassed and said the truck was too small for the load. It meant I had to urgently set time aside to clean up the mess.”

“The wood looks good value,the proof will be in the burning later. The delivery driver really struggled to get the crates off the vehicle. Had to get a neighbour to help. It looked dangerous.”

“The same as what i can get locally, but this will be my last putchase as they sre now charging a 'Remote Delivry Surchage' making them uncompetitive even at the sale price.”

“Since being introduced to Luxury Wood I have barely used my chain saw and wood splitter. I have just stocked-up for the autumn - please may it stay away awhile yet -. The quality of the wood has meant that I have much less glass cleaning to do and the heat output is definitely greater. The book "Norwegian Wood" also convinces me that with these purchases we are doing the right thing.”

“I have not had chance to use the wood briquettes yet as it has been to warm to light my stove. Very disappointed with the delivery the pallet had rolled over in transport and half the pallet had fallen on the floor of the delivery van. Lots of the briquettes had been damaged in transport. Took me and the delivery driver about 20 minutes to clear the bags of briquettes from the back of the van to my garage. Pallets need to be better secured or delivery company need to be more careful”

“Courier was shocking. Arranged a delivery for afternoon and therefore took time off work to accept it. At 4.30 p.m. contacted the delivery firm to be told that they were very busy and would not be with me until between 5.30 and 6.30 p.m. which I said was OK. At 8 p.m. contacted them again as still no delivery only to be told that it would be delivered in an hour or so, at which point I asked them if they were Yodel in disguise. They arrived at around 9 p.m. and woke the children. I refused delivery and will be attempting to get a refund for the logs.”
