“I have used your kiln dried wood before and know the quality and how well it burns. The logs are split and cut so well that it was the easiest of jobs to transfer them to my log shed... ready for winter. Excellent service; delivered promptly on the day and time that was agreed..”

“Ordered a pallet of 16 sleepers, largely chosen for price and convenience as delivery was included. Very happy overall delivery was within the 6 days quoted and the freight company was easy to deal with to arrange a suitable date. A couple of the sleepers had what I would consider to be excessive chunks missing from them but overall they were largely what I expected, big, chunky, weighty blocks of wood out of which I've crafted a lovely retaining wall. My only other small criticism would be that after my order confirmation I received no communication whatsoever about despatch or delivery from the company, the first I knew my delivery was ready was when the freight company called me. The online order tracking never progressed from order being prepared and then just mysteriously stopped showing any status at all. I would use this company again but it would be good if they sorted their order tracking out.”

“Waited in all day yesterday for delivery which didn't arrive. Called delivery company on their contact number but got no answer. E mailed Luxury Wood Company and awaiting response. Very Poor Service”

“The order process is fine. However delivery might be possible to improve. Again, the truck used was too big to turn round in my drive, it had to block the road to unload the crate, the crate seems unstable on the truck whilst the driver tried to manoeuvre it on to the tail lift and he thought so as well considering the amount of grumbling ! The crate was unloaded successfully but in the middle of my gateway. We had to empty the crate immediately to keep access to our house. All that is needed is a small truck with a tail lift. It has been done in the past.”

“Two orders for 1M3 play bark, I didn't order enough first time! The bark is excellent quality, reasonably priced and extremely well packaged. Even the independent delivery driver commented on the quality of packaging compared to deliveries he makes from other firms, the bag even has a protective sheet of plastic on top. Staff were exceptionally helpful in getting an additional order out to me very quickly, I have no hesitation recommending The Luxury Wood Company, simply excellent at every level, thank you.”

“Full crate of ash delivered on time for a good price. The volume of logs in the crate equates to 3 bays of a commercially available 4ft high log store so it’s good value too. I see no reason to buy logs from anywhere else. The guys who installed our wood burners also recommended luxury woods.”

“The wood is dry and well packed. However the create contains a very high percentage (+- 25%) of small pieces that will burn in minutes - these bits are only useful to light the fire. The delivery was very good and the delivery chap very helpful to position the create where I wanted it.”
