“Last year I bought a half crate of oak logs. They were excellent correctly split seasoned logs and I was prepared to pay the premium. This year I ordered a full crate of ash logs. When the crate arrived all looked good full split logs. However when the logs were unpacked the inner hidden layers contained many branch thinnings not what I thought I had bought. See photo”

“We ordered a large crate of kiln dried ash, paying £8.95 for delivery within 2-6 working days. Contacted by courier to take delivery and that the delivery required a signature. Having taken a day off work to receive the delivery I was disappointed when it didn’t turn up, despite waiting in all day. Eventually delivered on the 8th working day after placing the order. The wood is very good quality and was well packaged.”

“Much improved delivery from the last 2 times. That was my only gripe as the quality of the firewood delivered has always been excellent with very little if any on my readout, just the last 2 deliveries were quite dangerous, but this time they turned up with powered palet trolleys which were much better at getting the delivery past the street and down the drive.”

“Excellent service that being said the delivery driver turned up with no prior warning (invoice clearly stated ring day before) not LWC fault. Wood is good quality in the main but a lot off small infill pieces on both pallets.”

“I’ve been buying crates of kiln dried wood for quite a few years from Luxury Wood Company and usually been delighted. However the last load had extremely uneven pieces in it, some hadn’t been chopped down at all and were half a trunk. This means the convenience of buying it ready chopped into nice size pieces was completely taken away. I will have to pay someone to chop the large pieces up so I can fit them in my wood burner. Such a shame I will have to find another supplier of quality wood.”
